- What's New & What to Expect in Shadowlands 9.2.7 Season Four AND what you need to do to prepare your character to play the new patch's season and get up to speed quick.
Season 4 of Shadowlands begins August 2nd, 2022.
This guide is meant for new/returning players to Shadowlands who want to play raids, dungeons or PvP in season 4 patch 9.2.7. It goes over what is expected of your character by most groups as well as what the pre-requisites are to getting there before Season 4 starts on August 2nd, and what changed throughout Shadowlands; renown catchup, legendaries, required campaigns and reputations.
Season 4 (9.2.7) of Shadowlands brings 2 new mythic plus dungeons: Grimrail Depot and The Iron Docks, as well as the return of Karazhan and Mechagon as they join Tazavesh in the dungeon rotation together with the new Shrouded mythic plus affix. Also arriving is the Fated raid system, letting us play all 3 Shadowlands raids: Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination & Sepulcher of the First Ones at pretty much the same time throughout the season, with their drops and bosses scaled up with new affixes.

I quit 3rd month into SL and this is an awesome guide but I think ill just gear up in DF instead of going back to torgast or through all those campaigns.
Yea at this point wait until Tuesday, there’s a new catch-up gearing system soon. I’ll release a 5-6 minute video explaining it on Monday.

Hey go grab the recent update, the new season 4 update includes a lot of the stuff I did for myself in season 3. So I'm using it totally straight from his import string now

I finished the chains of domination campaign on a char that i wont play as main now, any point on doing it again on this char or is it only worth doing cause of mounting/flying?
Nah there’s no need to repeat it, just once to unlock legendary crafting and mounting/flying.

This is correct. Only the dungeons listed are opening for the m+ season. They removed the keystone pedestal from all the other dungeons.
they should remove reputation requirement -.-
It's honestly really not bad, the world quests are short and varied, and there's cool mounts/pets/transmogs to earn in the zone anyways so there's reason to be there. I HATE doing rep grinds but once I saw how fast this patch's rep was, didn't really mind it after that :D
Shadowlands still sounds like a drag 🥲😅
I'm not gonna claim it's not a drag, it definitely can still be. But it's a lot more fun once you get things going, that I can promise
