in vehicle bgs you can use a survival hunter to heal your vehicle back up with your passive mastery, it is considered a pet for maximum efficiency switch to a full mastery set upon entering. the mastery heals for a percentage of maximum life, so you can make the big tank in isle of conquest almost impossible to kill, granted you outrange most of the dmg with the superior range anyway
The honor gains this week have been out of control. Taking some time to play retail rather than SoM and getting 1.5k+ honor per battleground feels amazing gearing up alts and finishing my duelist set on my main.

It's kind of odd how Blizzard gives away Honor like oxygen, but they will not you xfer it to alts. I've probably pissed away more honor 2k here and there to be able to complete a weekly quest cause I am constantly maxxed out. Some good insight and great info. Around the 4min mark you go into a noob guide which provides good info. I've been working on something like that for a while now and you covered about 90% of my thoughts.
If you could transfer it then it ceases be something you acquire endless amounts of that's mostly useless, so that would violate some kind of law of misery Blizzard abide by.
Did 3's and BGs last night for hours getting honor it's such a grind. Totally didn't think about the guild flag for bgs 🤦, I am gonna check out that Patreon now though. ;)
Been using the guild banner for the 15% bonus for years for honor and xp grinds, honestly thought that was a well known thing. back before they changed the level cap too 60 though, bgs actually gave decent xp esp if you had both pvp boa trinkets and the 15% guild banner.

Even if you don't need the gear, all that honour is a great way to get gold. Buy the gear, wait 2 hours and presto: they can be sold to a vendor for gold. My hunter bought _Unchained Aspirant Recurve Bow_ for 1750 honour , gave 116 gold. The tunic costs 875, gives 61 gold.
I was planning on farming honor for cosmetics on my vet 20 twink after my sub ran out in march last year, but then blizzard nerfed the honor you gain from BGs under lvl 60, so I just quit all together.
On a side note, siege vehicles can be healed with Chain Heal (Shaman), Power Word Radiance (Priest), Revival (Monk), or another Holy Priest ability I forgot the name of. Due to CDs, Chain Heal is most effective due to not having one.
Wow I remember seeing some healers making a tank invulnerable a while back and just assumed it had been fixed. Very interesting. Can you still use the garrison siege tank from the garrison in classic ashran I wonder-might be interesting synergy there when that bg comes around.
Argh yeah they basically made conquest worthless for people who aren't doing rated. If you get enough to buy a piece with conquest do so....otherwise its just basically junk.

Yeah I figured people as sharp as you would know. But you likely knew about it anyway or have plays of your own just as good (if you were subbed to wow currently). I like to show these things not just to plug the patreon but also so the really committed exploiters who can't afford the patreon can figure it out.
Every time i see default nameplates i keep getting reminded how out of place and immersion breaking they are. how could they green light changing them in to this is beyond my understanding. thank god for addons.

It really sucks you can't do anything in terms of PvP or even defending yourself against geared players but at least the honor rolls in quite easily but it is stil time consuming for multiple alts
There are strategies to avoid that. I mentioned some of it in the video but there's a lot more there. If you know where the treasures are in ashran for example.

You can skip the 2 hours by equipping, then de-equipping the item.
