i only do one farm every three days and it makes me enough gold to play and it has made me over a million gold and that is just doing the convent daily those one that max at every three days. there really is nothing to make gold in wow these days also doing all the gold mission on the convent mission table. pretty much pumping over 100k gold every 3 days. depends on how many alts at the atm only got ten so if you had more there might be more to it.
I'm on NA and all but one of these are great farms over here. Volatile Water isn't selling for much on Stormrage, but, the others have made me tons of gold. Thank you for this video!
While I don't think that someone's first million gold should be done with slow sell rate crafted xmog-related farms, I applaud the concise presentations of this many farms. It is a great summary otherwise, and quite handy as a supplement for other more mainstream current content farms. Good video!

@@hata6290 Virtually anything other than 0.01 selrate items. i dont think its fun for a new goldmaker to get his items in a day or 2 then sit on them for 3-6months post once a day to earn 1 million gold. it's a massive waste of time for most people. the actual gph of posting months to sell these kind of sellrate items is also sub 10k gph, which makes farmign copper ore in durotar competitive (or better) and indeed has a faster turnaround. But there's 1000s of youtube videos on non-xmog items so gl
I was doing 4 of these farms already without even knowing that they were actually good farms, so seeing you point them out too kinda makes me feel better about my decision haha
5k for Wildvine?? I sell 1 or 2 a month on a really good month for 1300g, and that if I can avoid the undercut to 1100g. Warbear dropped to 150g each on my realm as well. Sold my first batch (19) fellcloth this year 2 days ago, and haven't sold mooncloth in well over a year. Primal fire sells once or twice a week for about 650g each. I'll try the other primals and volitiles.
For those thinking the Misty Grells aren't lootable, they actually ARE, but only 1 in a few drop felcloth and the rest drop almost no loot. So you may get several with no loot, then one shows lootable. If it's lootable, it's a high chance it's felcloth or a green or better.

The Elemental plateau is another area to farm fire/primal fire motes, there are different elementals that drop different motes as well, which also sell quite well, except for the earth motes, those are generally very cheap and might as well be trashed
Killing Dust Stormer's in the NW corner of Silithus cam met a decent profit too they drop Breath of Wind (800G+ used for phantom blade ect) Essence of Air (200g+) Elemetal air (200g+) the weapon sells for 60k+ mats except for the Breath of Wind have total cost of about 1k if you're a BS
Yeah I've been away from WoW for a few years now. Last time I played 30 day play time was 35k-38k gold. Now it's 205k for 30 days.. Jesus christ I didn't know inflation worked in games too.
its supply and demand if there is less supply the rate of gold will go up. if there is more supply the rate of gold will go down. that is why the best time to buy wow tokens is during new patchs/expansions because that is when there or more sell then demand. and the best time to get more bang for your buck is to wait a month or two after then you will get more gold for your money. not really inflation it has to do with supply. when the token first came out lots of people bought in to them for quick gold. but as people dropped out of the game there was less buyer of the token and so AH prices went to keep a supply on the AH.

I made my first million by grinding current Shadowlands content. I started playing at the end of January this year. I wish I had seen your video earlier. I don’t spend gold. My toons wear what drops or what I can craft. I hadn’t been able to craft legendaries until recently and they just sit on my auction house. But that’s a learning thing, isn’t it?
You're doing a group farm solo, its absolutely terrible solo, do it as a group. Make a group using LFG system custom call it Fel Cloth. Dont do this farm without a group you wont get enough spawn, they dont drop trash look only felcloth and you need a group to get more spawns to turn it into a hyperspawn. :)
Is it just me or are all these gold prices massively inflated? Did the bottom drop out of the economy? None of this stuff sells for anywhere near the prices he's talking about in my Realm. I am in a Full realm too. For instance, running around for an hour to grab the wildvine got me 2 wildvine and there's admissive amount of wildvine on the AH for around 450g each. The most plausible gold per hour is the Vol water and I figure I'm making about 10k per hour. Sad. Lots of effort with little reward. =(
Some I knew a few new ones the only thing I would say is that all servers are not equal so saying you get 50k for an item on your realm is not always the case on another 😢
Unfortunately this video is 10 months old!! Blizzard have now combined the auction houses so these materials are much lower as a result, but also as a result they sell WAY WAY WAY quicker ;)

At the swamp of sorrows, on my level 60 demon hunter, there was no option to loot those little guys for the cloth, also when i was killing the naga in the red reaches, not one of them dropped a golden pearl, clams yes but no pearls
1. Not every Imp drops felcloth. Their only loot variability is Fel Cloth. Doing this solo is a pointless. Do it as a group to turn it into a hyperspawn. It's as easy as Pressing: i, typing in "Felcloth Farm" then starting the farm and other join you while farming. You'll get 100% more loot with a group of 5 then solo. 2. Naga drop clams, clams drop pearls. 4 Pearls can drop but aren't guarenteed. Again make a group call it "Goldenpearl Farm" and start farming.
I haven't been able to try all the areas yet but I have noticed that the naga aren't dropping golden pearls along with the Skullsplitter trolls not dropping wildvine, yet when I look it up it shows they no longer drop them. Could they have changed who dropped it or have they possibly lowered the drop rate? With more info, I have been farming those two locations for a couple hours each with not much success. So far the other areas you suggested were great! Still have the others I need to check out. All on all, this was wonderful info and highly appreciate you taking the time to create this content. Really helps! Made 10k within an hour at the auction house today. And that was with just a couple hours of farming.

But what's great is other little drops in between these farming drops also made me some good money despite being smaller. When it comes to the Naga, despite the golden pearls not dropping, OTHER pearls did drop and they sold fast on the market.
is there anything we have to do with the volatile water, like craft something? Because volatile water only sells for 8 silver in venders! So i have a hard time to think they sell for much in the AH

For items that have a low sell rate tends to sell for more. I say farm so you have them up on AH (but dont farm to many of the same mats or transmog), is way better to have alot of various items on AH than alot of the same item. Keep golden Pearls up at AH and check if you have been undercut 2-3 times a day. Yes they sell slow, but it will sell in the end. I just sold for 18k transmog today, and I have reposted many times, but I sold it in the end and you can do the same.
Came across the video and thought I'd give it a go, wasted an hour of my life on the first 2, Grells, Nada (maybe need to be a tailor) killed hundreds of Naga's and got 2 black pearls an iridescent pearl, neither of which are worth anything.

With the crossrealm ah i dont think none of this stuff would sell for good gold. Probably most of them would give you 10k and hour or 15k. For example volaite water was a good farm back in the day now is bad lol. 10 gold each so if you try to make those 90k now you would need 9000 volatile water lol
hey nope its not a ui error, they drop cloth but if you do this solo you'll get far less cloth than in a group. Groups force respawns and that means you get a lot more opportunity for loot. :)

as of today, the drop rate of Fel Cloth from killing misty grill is very low. From my experience, you don't get loot from every kill, only about 1 in 10 kills get you something so this is not a good farming method for getting Fel Cloth
It's been the same drop rate the entire time. This is why I say do it as a group. If you choose to do it solo without even trying to make a group then you're choosing to do it inefficiently my friend!
really good series you have made here, but with all that tech. stuff like tags tsm and so on i don't think i will ever get just 1 mill so far i am at 811436 gold total acquired on my main since i started in 2008 :( i just sadly don't have the brain to use those different gold guides and i have acquired 1.5 mill total on my AH lady
This is why I highly advise doing it as a group not solo. Solo you just don't get enough kills to get that much. As a group you get so so so much more. Well, I tried the Grell farm in Swamp of Sorrows and they are not lootable. IDK why, I'm not in a group or raid, I don't have war mode on, they are just not lootable once dead.
I had the same issue until I tried a number of them. Turns out they ONLY drop felcloth but not all of them drop it. So just kill a bunch - If one shows lootable, it's the cloth.

Gold making 101, sell everything always. You need to have 1000's of different items up on the AH at all times. Quantity = $$$$$$$$$. It's a simple thing to understand, Look at Walmart, Walmart sells EVERYTHING.
The best way to make gold is to boost people in M+ or raids. Almost 10 million in less than 1.5 months of boosting in M+. It's less tedious and random than having to bother with the AH and you get to play the game. Thank me later :)

That primal fire farm is how I earned my epic flight 5k gold all the way back in TBC.
just did the volatile water one, with a potion and did it for an hour. 15k, got some of the other volatiles as well.
Wildvine is gathered from purple lotus in felwood. Just wanted to add that to the troll farming part.

Do it as a group.
The Naga drop big mouth clams that when you open have a chance to drop golden pearls. Don’t quit after 20 min and sell all the clams like I did.

due to a bug where my TSM tought my wildwine was worth 25g each i sold all 20 for 25g each, oh well, i wont do that misstake again :D

Hi comment section and Eosium! I was in swamp of sorrow trying to farm some felcloth today but it i can't loot the misty grells after i kill them! Why is that?
Not every grel has loot. This is why it's best to do this as a group farm. A lot more loot per hour.

there is a better place to farm the golden pearls, the island behind feathermoon stronghold is full of naga that drop them.
as of today, the drop rate of Fel Cloth from killing misty grill is very low. From my experience, you don't get loot from every kill, only about 1 in 10 kills get you something so this is not a good farming method for getting Fel Cloth
It's been the same drop rate the entire time. This is why I say do it as a group. If you choose to do it solo without even trying to make a group then you're choosing to do it inefficiently my friend!

do I have to grind out outlands tailoring to be able to do mooncloth? I thought I just had to get a quest for it
Its not Outland tailoring, its a Vanilla tailoring pattern sold by Qia (a goblin, in Winterspring) require 250 vanilla skill level to use
really good series you have made here, but with all that tech. stuff like tags tsm and so on
i don't think i will ever get just 1 mill so far i am at 811436 gold total acquired on my main since i started in 2008 :(
i just sadly don't have the brain to use those different gold guides

Hey I've been farming the Misty Grell and I think they've nerfed it. They're only dropping old skulls.
This is why I highly advise doing it as a group not solo. Solo you just don't get enough kills to get that much. As a group you get so so so much more.

Well, I tried the Grell farm in Swamp of Sorrows and they are not lootable. IDK why, I'm not in a group or raid, I don't have war mode on, they are just not lootable once dead.
I had the same issue until I tried a number of them. Turns out they ONLY drop felcloth but not all of them drop it. So just kill a bunch - If one shows lootable, it's the cloth.

This will change constantly, the price of felcloth changes for me daily, depending if I have reset it yet or not lol

The best way to make gold is to boost people in M+ or raids. Almost 10 million in less than 1.5 months of boosting in M+. It's less tedious and random than having to bother with the AH and you get to play the game. Thank me later :)
