Great review! I agree 110% with your opinions. MSC does get a bad reputation for food although on my many sailings with them, I've found them to be a step above. It does seem like the food quality can vary from ship to ship but I've never gone hungry and it seems as if they're really adapting more and more to the American market. I still judge any NY Strip steak by the one I had on Seaside back in November of last year. It was simply amazing! Looking forward to more reviews!
We thought the food was better this time on the Divina than it was on the Magnifica. We have some more MSC cruises planned so hopefully those trips have good food as well!
@@dwofford You will need to pay for any alcohol, soda and so on if you don't have the drinking package and they also have a few upcharge items on the menus if you choose to do so but you have your choice of multiple appetizers, entries and deserts all complimentary.

Great review! We are going on The Davina Friday (Dec 6). Our first cruise. Question...do you pay extra for anything at dinner?

Are you allowed to order multiple entres in the free dinner room? I'm going on the ship Monday.
We believe that they charge an additional $5 for a second entree but additional appetizers and deserts are free.
