Have you listened Tarja's Ghost Love Score Romania or Canada (Montreal I think) performances? They are definitely my choises over End of an Era and I think intersting to listen if one only knows the End of an Era concert live. In both of those performances the background choir is the quiet version (same they have with Floor) while in EoaE it is the loud background choir and also more of it. And Tarja's vocals in EoaE generally weren't her best and GLS was the last song before the encore.. her vocals were really spent in the second half of the song. Also I didn't dig how much moaning (because she really tried to give this moaning, suffering feeling to the song) she put into it in EoaE.

I'm glad you chose to react to this version. I suggested it a couple of weeks ago, and it is definitely one of my favourite NW songs. There are very few songs where I would say I prefer the Anette version, but this is definitely one of them, I think Anette's voice brings a more classic metal sound to it. Also, the fact you uploaded this on my birthday made it even better, thanks!!
Respectfully disagree. Annette sings well but nothing matches the darkness in Tarja's voice which is perfect for the song. End of an Era version is the perfect one.
Yees End of An Era concert next!!I think it´s better to choose that one first because you've already done so much Nightwish with Floor and not so many with Tarja :)
And That concert of course is epic one, it has totally different atmosphere because you know it is Tarja's last show with Nightwish. Totally worth reacting next

Anette has done in the last few years so many good things. She has a new project, called the dark element, wich released two (fantastic) albums, on the next 10th of September will come out the second solo album from Anette, and the three single already released has been so good, and she's done some other stuff too

I always liked this song, this version here with Anette is also good, the albums with here are great and many really great great songs are on this albums, like "Storytime", "Song of myself" or "The poet and the pendulum" as example. But i don't like her live, i'm sorry! I hope you do an reaction of the Tarja era song "Beauty OF the beast", it's one of the most beautiful NW songs from Tarja era and Floor doesn't sing it, but i can not understand why! Did Anette sing that song? I don't know and i never see this song with Anette anywhere. I like this song so much, from first time hearing, he's in the way like Ghost love score and i'm sure you also will like it! There is a live video from Amsterdam 2002 with Tarja, but the quality is not soooo good. Maybe you remember that song but if not do the album version first, first time you should hear the album version. When you do the whole conzert reaction from End of an era i think you need max. 3 houres, i have the DVD and the conzert is 105 min long, so i think 3 houres are enough.

All 3 singers are good , but they have another style , but they are all good enough. I like Floor more , because she is more my singer and she is from the Netherlands. I even listen their songs of all singers .

Hi You should react to Floor singing this song without Marco. She did it on July 31st last month
After hearing Floor do this on the live stream concert, this version is actually kind of hard to listen to. Floor did such a good job on it, I almost didn't miss Marko. And hearing her do it live with Marko, well, you know. This song deserves a more powerful voice than Anette's. To me, she always sounds a bit screechy. Sorry Anette fans but IMO it is what it is.
Nope. Floor is my favorite female lead of Nightwish but I still think this is way better than any of her performances of this song :)

@@ejllamobeolan5025 I love Floor. Just think Anette gets to much shit. Sure there is some songs that I cant listen with Anette after I heard them with Floor. Most of them actually, but two songs both have done that I think Anette do justice is this one and Scaretale. Scaretale she does better, that's her song.
