In this video I showcase my newly installed 295/70r18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers @NittoChannel on my voodoo blue 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. This is the stance this truck should have had from factory… it looks and feels perfect. Shoutout to @DiscountTire for always taking great care of me… as they also hooked me up for my 2020 army green Tundra TRD Pro AND my 2021 lunar rock Tundra TRD Pro. Haha. Yeah I have a problem.
Between this and my newly installed ceramic window tint and Diamondback bed cover… I’m obsessed. This voodoo blue turns so many heads, it’s insane. Outside mounting some rb20 running boards, there anything else I should consider?

Best color for the tundras ever! I searched and searched and searched for a voodoo blue tundra but they’re rare! If I can find one for myself I’d trade my 2020 trd OR for it in a heartbeat!
The wheel fitment with the ceramic tint just pops with the blue I love it man!

They do great… although I had better luck with my BFGoodrich KO2s
I was set on going with 285s on your other videos then I came back to this one an the 295s just look so good I’m sitting at discount waiting for the tires to get put on my 2020 pro hoping for the best

I would like to see a video more in depth about the 295s as well. Just got the TRD PRO in Lunar Rock and having a hard time deciding between the 295s or the 285s.

Looks awesome man. Bigger tires look so much better on the tundra. Crazy how these trucks make even 35s look small. I'm running 315/70r17 with some rock warrior wheels on my tundra and best thing I've done to my truck. Fit perfectly with a minor bit of poke.
That mat in the back is a Bed Rug. Look them up. My Pro didn’t come with a bed liner. I went back and forth between a bed rug and linex. I did my whole bed in bedrug. I’m very happy with it. Turned out great. The bed rugs are tough. Plus when crawling in the bed or having to kneel. It’s a knee saver.
You’re right about that! I’ve never been so comfortable installing a bed cover… haha

@@UntamedMotors I have a 2020 superwhite TRD PRO literally going to follow this look, nice tint and rims sets the tone, I am missing running boards up on purchase but good so I can choose my preference, and just need the bed cover. Truck came with bush guard and LED bar built in
white knuckle offroad sliders would look so much better on the pro.. looks plus functionality, plus build quality is superb.. had it on my '16 quicksand pro..

So I just purchased a Super White 21’. I’ve worked at a Toyota store for 23 years so I live and breathe Toyota, and yet I still find myself watching your videos 😂 Voodoo is definitely a great color!
I’m torn between the Nitto’s and the KO2’s. I’ve had several sets of KO2’s, and would definitely call them my fave. It looks like BFG just released a 295/70R18, but they’re kind of playing hard-to-get. I’ve heard you touting the KO2 in prior videos, which would you say is your preference?

Very beautiful truck. Definitely better than the new 2022 Tundras. But those bright red and white tail lights stick out like a sore thumb. I would absolutely change out those tail lights to a more blacked out look to match the rest of the truck! That's one of the first things I did to my 22 Tacoma Pro when I bought it.
Greetings, do you think it is possible that I can install a Toyo AT3 295/70/18 in my 2019 Tundra Trd Pro? Or do you recommend the Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/70/18 better, I already saw that the Nitto doesn't stick anywhere, but I don't know if the Toyo sticks

I have the same truck, same color, same tires and the rhino boards. I copied you with your lunar rock mods. But one more thing you need is to get a '20/'21 leather steering wheel at sparksparts or ebay. Huge difference in the overall quality feel. This truck deserves better than that stock '19 steering wheel. It's about 500 or so bucks at sparks, little less on ebay ($850 at the dealer).
I haven't done this but maybe the grab handle mod for driver's side too. Lots of people like that addition. About $175.
I’m going to look into the steering wheel, I agree this polyurethane wheel is garbage. Thanks for the tip on where to look. I did the grab handle and AJT trim bits before, I’ll aim to do that again. 👍
@@UntamedMotors right on. And BTW if it makes you feel any better, I paid way too much too. Bought in February this year for 54,250 with 38,000 miles BUT, it was priced "low" haha, yeah, because it had about $4000 worth of dents and paint damage (swirl marks any holograms. Most I saw were going for 57 to 63K if they were clean.) Plus front brakes had a cracked disc. Had to replace rotors and pads. Not including tint, tires, boards and steering wheel, I'm in for about almost 59K as the starting point BEFORE mods hahaha. Absolutely insane. But it is what it is. I finally have the voodoo blue tundra I've wanted for years. Still cheaper than the '22 which I won't be buying.
Edit: oh yeah I forgot 54,250K PLUS TAX haha. So I'm in for like a million dollars all in haha.

Was not a fan of Voodoo Blue on the 4Runner. Looks fantastic on the Tundra though. Quicksand is probably the best color for the 4Runner. But Quicksand does not look so great on pickups.
Curious to know the rubbing you mention. Looking to upgrade to this tire size. Where does it rub at full lock and can it be trimmed? Thanks

I want the RB 20’s but I worry about durability in the NY salt belt winter. Also, I’m lifting my TRD OR 2.4” on the front and 1.75” rear. Should I be able to fit 295’s without rubbing? Thanks. Sick truck BTW! I also just put on a DB HD. Yours looks much longer than mine. I’m having some issues with my fitment.
Keep this one for a while. You have good taste in modifications so It’d be cool to see what you do with the truck over time

No way you should accept that diamondback fitment. It looks literally popped open to me. For someone with discerning taste I can’t imagine you standing that for a second. Don’t settle man. Fix it flat or ditch it and get one that works better. That’s unacceptable for high level aesthetics. Cmon you got this. Rest looks great!

You need a shorty antenna to replace thet ugly whip antenna on the front. I have one that is 6" tall and gives me the same reception across all radio bands without degradation. I have a 2019 Magnetic Metallic grey Platinum Crewmax Tundra with Wild Peak tires on the stock rims. Love my truck. It is my dream vehicle. Love the Voodoo Blue, but have never wanted to pay the premium to get it.

Well pal you've got another beauty. A pair of reverse led 6k tail light bulbs is a nice touch for another mod, and of course the led interior lighting, and how about that Trd cold air intake box ? Something about the previous gen Tundra that the current gen just ain't got...........😉👍 I think it's called a magnetic personality..........😎

Yes they would. They technically work on a stock TRD pro setup… just slight rub at full lock while reversing.
Just curious why you chose ridge grapplers on Tundras and ko2s on 4Runners? Performance? Looks? I have ko2s letters out on my 4Runner partly because your videos.

I have a 2021 SR5 Cement Trail Edition. I’m looking to add a 2.5 inch level. Your videos are helpful because I’m debating between 285 or 295 (70/R18). IMO the the 295’s look the best but I’m not sure given the 2.5 in level. Thoughts?
The 295s will look great after the 2.5 lift. =]

How is the full Turning lock on it? Does it rub anywhere. I hear it rubs on the sway bars?
Loosen those c clamps a little more and have someone stand on top of the diamondback to tighten up the two panels. Takes a little work but can definitely get that cover looking just right and totally water proof underneath!

Those tires set perfectly in the wheel well. Really like those stock wheels. Losing the "spat" may be all you need. Is the diamondback just a mil too far forward?

Guys that are thinking about buying these tires, just note these tires get louder after 15,000 miles. Next set will be the Toyo Open Country the sister company of Nitto. Also FYI they suck in the snow.

So I have the same truck (in black)… a few things that really made a difference. I installed a real leather wrapped steering wheel. I also did the grab handle on the driver’s side. AJT got rid of some of the chrome on the center console! Great upgrades! Can you give your opinion on how the 2019 drives compared to the 20-21? Is there any difference? Thanks

I'd like to see you try some different tail lights. Also, have you considered moving the front bumper forward a bit like SupaWhite had in the video you did with him previously?
I haven't considered the shim mod, no. Had I gone with 35s, I would have considered that. Might try the morimotos...

I ordered some OEM black ones. 2019 they came with chrome ones lol. I purchase straight from Go Rhino, they mail the fastest and have excellent customer service. They also give a 10% Off Discount when you use my code “Untamed”

Awesome, I’m looking into an SR5 sport but I want to switch out the 20” wheels with the TRD Pro wheels and the beefy tires.
How do you compare this to the duratracs? Feel like both look pretty aggressive. Hopefully you keep this one!!!

This is the largest you can run without mods on a Pro -minor rubbing. 285/70r18 is the largest you can go without any rubbing.
Nice truck How are the ridge grapplers in rain? Do they slide around, hydroplane, or spin out!
I really like them… they’re a hybrid tire. Much better than KO2s in the rain.

I’ve always regretted getting ppf… cost a ton and you never get your dollar back out of it. With my shorter ownership history, I’ve never been able ti justify it unfortunately.
