For almost two years, I have been working on a piece of art (REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY ART) called “Metachurch.” Metachurch is a series of songs that are an artistic narrative on humanity’s current relationship with technology; in particular, social media and AI. However, in this installment, the conversation opens up to further societal conflicts as well as the things we may be missing by not putting our phones down, stepping out from behind the screens and embarking in empathetic conversations - which most often begins by listening with all attention to the person you are engaged with, whether you agree or disagree. Most importantly, this video illustrates Creation…an Edenic world…a Genesis…and most importantly, a hope. It’s up to you to aim high.
