Oh my god. This is absurdly well mixed and produced- I was on an indie binge and expected this to be another couple minute long indie pop / rock song. Then the glitch lyrics kicked in, and then the SAXOPHONE. Then I checked the time to realize this track is 8 minutes long, and I had to enter my prog state of mind. It was euphoric, this is awesome. And only 6.6k views??????

@@maegnificant Oh you're right, I didn't even catch that. I'm actually cross-comparing this right now with the official visualizer for this song, and the title is actually completely correct. It was so well mixed that I just didn't even think about it being a live performance, but I don't actually see anything that points to this *not* being a live performance. The reason why the mix is so solid is, checking the credits in the description, they had audio post production.
That's why, for example, a live performance recorded over a phone camera, or a single mic, will sound trash when played back, but heavenly when you're in person. You can get this effect by having each instrument mic'd so they can mix each audio channel in post.
@@KingOthius the drummer is not always playing what is played in the song. Also I believe you cannot mix this perfomance that well just out in the open like this. I might be wrong. It doesn't take away from the artistry. I just think if it is not a live perfomance, they should not label it as such.
