To everyone who says that DB has no stakes and is overall really bad, remember JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (parts 3-8) Fullmetal Alchemist One Piece Naruto None of these would have existed without Dragon Ball Z Cralification: Parts 1 and 2 were not inspired by Dragon Ball in any shape or form, but I believe later parts may be somewhat influenced. I think because Dan Dan has a slightly more downbeat sound. Like it's meant to sound like there is a slight tinge of sadness--like the feeling when a great journey is over. Whereas chala and we gotta power are super upbeat.

The older animation was actually very choppy and inconsistent at times. The newer animation does actually flow better
