To me this was the first song i associated with Dragonball having been given a VHS of the final Buu fight as a Kid before I ever got to see the rest. Today waking up to the news of the passing of Akira Toriyama the who created all of this, I needed to listen to this song again. May Heaven be as joyous a place as you imagined it to be Mr.Toriyama and thank you for teaching a young boy how determination and hard work is what makes heroes.

A theme that promised a new dawn for the Age of Gohan. A shame Toriyama could never deliver and just ended up bringing Goku back - despite Goku's story was over after Cell - and negating all the character growth Gohan had.
yes, this is why i am so pissed Goku, as a main character, arent being used too oftenly, he just pop up when the enemy seems too strong for Z Fighter look at Buu saga, its really messy when Buu overpowered too much and right now, the mix from earth and saiyajin arent that powerfull (inconsistency)

Totally agree. Goku was the hero for so long and I loved every second. But Gohan deserved the role of main character after he earned his win with Cell and surpassed his father. We had such good times with Goku and I was looking forward to just as many good times with Gohan.

A theme that promised a new dawn for the Age of Gohan. A shame Toriyama could never deliver and just ended up bringing Goku back - despite Goku's story was over after Cell - and negating all the character growth Gohan had.
It was due to the fandom, gohan was supposed to take over, but a major part of fandom got mad apparently

Goku, as a main character, arent being used too oftenly, he just pop up when the enemy seems too strong for Z Fighter
look at Buu saga, its really messy when Buu overpowered too much
and right now, the mix from earth and saiyajin arent that powerfull (inconsistency)
frostyguy1989 yeah it’s a shame. But Goku has been there from the beginning so the choice was to continue with Goku instead. I love Gohan, he is the best. Double shame for DBS, Gohan has not played a big role in it (not even a new transformation)
Totally agree. Goku was the hero for so long and I loved every second. But Gohan deserved the role of main character after he earned his win with Cell and surpassed his father. We had such good times with Goku and I was looking forward to just as many good times with Gohan.
