I feel like I’ve been waiting on this album for years. It doesn’t disappoint. What a incredible song awesome vocals and reb is incredible. So nice to know this band still dominates all these years later. Such a relief to know bands like Winger still exist making one of a kind music. Thanks guys.

Overall decent song. I enjoyed the song and gave it a thumbs up but didn't quite make my favorites list. Could have cut out a minute or two of the song and it would have been better.

Something about the guitarists of that generation… that followed Ed’s footsteps… but got drowned out by the non-solo Grunge generation…
tons of fast players, incredibly technically better than the most of the 80s, but no soul, nothing substantial behind it, lacking a real song for a solo to shine in

Reb can do all the technicalities - but there is something in the phrasing, the building up of the tension, the measured speed - these are all the traits of a master at their art. In any sphere of life... So comfortable, wise, perhaps guardedly enjoying ...

I think Wingers biggest problem commercially was that they relied on Metallica fans to buy their records. Should have gone the Bon Jovi route and stayed with the ladies.

Seriously, blown away! Your range, tone, control of air compression (I think that is the term), harmonies, song writing, bass playing/singing skills are absurd! Been a huge fan of you (and Reb) since I saw you guys open for Yngwie and blow everyone away in the late 80's in Portland, OR (it might have been at the Satyricon, but I'm not sure). Please, keep making music. Love Reb's solo stuff too.

I appreciate the restraint on this song. We all know Kip can write numerous key changes and the band can more than keep up, but this one is a true earwig based around its simplicity. Reb holds back for most of the outro solo and plays some really beautiful melodies without showing off. I love the maturity and understanding of playing for the song. We are all fortunate to have this band around with all original members!

Here it is almost 4 days later and I'm still getting goosebumps listening to this song! Reb's solo is just mesmerizing. His talent just blows me away. Kip sounds SO good! Dear God and Baby Jesus, please protect Kip Winger's voice at all costs!! Go see them live on this tour if you can...they are fantastic live! I just wish they were headliners!!

This new Winger stuff coming out I can't help but think of one of my best buds who passed away in January at 43 years of age, we shared a large love for Winger. Over 20 years ago I got kicked out of a Kip Winger show for underage drinking (I was 20) and somehow my friend got Kip's attention mid-show. Kip called me during the middle of his set hah! RIP Mike, will always love you bud. This song is absolutely amazing, I wish I could text him a link to this video :(

My friend Mike was a big LOA fan too, we must have seen them 4-5 times together. I've probably seen them 8 or so times. Don't dig the newest album but still appreciate most their work!

I always laughed at Metallica throwing darts at Kip's face when I'd watch the "year and a half" home videos, Metallica seemed like the coolest band on earth and Winger were soft and irrelevant...Who would have guessed that Metallica would be the joke now and Winger would be respected and putting out great music? I really lost respect for a lot of those bands I once followed, and I gained new respect for those I once mocked.
😂 Winger is real good, but not that good. Metallica set the bar of success that many will be chasing for many years.
You have a point. That being said, Metallica will never be duplicated. James ability to sing and shred is untouchable .
@@yabo2424 Sure. I agree that at one point Metallica were the best band on the planet. I think the Live in Seattle '89 performance is up there with the best a live band has been. And the first five albums were masterpieces.
But you can only coast on that for so long. At this point we've had three decades of mediocre music from them, and people are still going on about Master of Puppets.
And they've been going out of their way to alienate their fans in the metal community, so why should their old thrash albums even count?
Let's judge them on Lulu, Death Magnetic, St Anger. Or even Hardwired, which had a decent album buried somewhere in there. I did an edit of that album where I cut two or three minutes out of each track and made it sound about a million times better. But as it is, those songs are bloated and boring. And the new album had a decent lead single, but it's suffering from the same issues. I still can't get through it, and I've tried multiple times.
When there are so many great bands releasing quality music and getting zero recognition, I'm sick of Metallica sucking the air from the room.

@@yabo2424 Thanks. Yes I do think Load & Reload were good hard rock albums, although they should have been trimmed to one single record. But everything since Jason left has been really poor.

I had the good fortune to meet him on his solo tour of the UK a few years back. I was sat at the bar and he ambled over and stood next to me....I tentatively produced all of my CD's for signing (big pockets!). He not only signed all of them (I lost the lot in a burglary a coupe of years ago 😢) but stayed and chatted for over 20 minutes. An absolute gent and totally without affectation. I consider him to be one of the greatest songwriters of the last 40 years.
