      I was in a horrific relationship with an abuser and I told his elderly mom. I showed her bruises. She told me to “be a good woman, be patient, and keep these matters private”. I felt lost and alone, as my parents have passed years ago. I left him after he did some scary things and was charged w 8 felonies. He had told me many times he would kill me. I am sure he would have if I stayed. My heart goes out to these victims, the fear is real. I am grateful he has no idea where I am now.

      Dude.
      It's his MOTHER. Of course she's wanting to help her son as much as she possibly COULD right now she knows she can't help him so her words are all she HAS and no matter what happens that's her SON and as heinous and disgusting as the crime is (and it Is, probably one of the MOST disgusting) it's still her child and she's still his mother. The mother isn't responsible so why comment some shit like that as if she did... Are you telling me you would be able to just completely wash your hands of your kid???? You can't even answer that because you've never been thru it so don't even try.

    • @DiscursivelyDesigned
      @DiscursivelyDesigned 6 месяцев назад

      Yes, I could. Just like I completely washed my hands of my father. You are under no obligation to your mother or children. They are still human and as human, at a certain maturity, understand right and wrong, that harming someone is wrong. As a parent you help them understand consequences and accountability.
      Under no circumstance should you defend unjust cruel behavior simply because of blood relation, that is a naive, immature and dangerous take@@allexgarcia7312

    • @kaykepop4084

      @allexgarcia7312 Let me try to make my point clearer so you can fully understand. As a mother myself, I have a conscience, and I teach my children to listen to their conscience and to treat others the way we want to be treated. Which means I have the ability to think of and sympathize with others. To make such a statement as his mother did is heartless to the victim. I care about all my children deeply, so much so they call me mother bear because I defend and care for them to no end. I only want the best in life for my kids and push myself every single day to make sure they do physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. But as much as my kids are my world, I also have the ability to think of others. If my child had committed such a horrific act as this monster, in my heart, I would be screaming for every compassion for my child, but I would not say it publicly out of respect to the victim and their loved ones. Although I would be beyond heartbroken and highly angry at my child for throwing their life away and more broken knowing that they took a life that wasn't there's to take, I would plead privately with law officials and get the best defense lawyer out there, even if it bankrupts me. But I would also not downplay the severity of my child's criminal act and blame the victim for what happened, like his mother did. I teach my children that there are reactions to every action, so they need to really think things through before putting their thoughts and emotions into motion. To take accountability and to be honest. That if someone breaks your heart, life will go on and will become better. Not what this mother did by basically justifying her sons monstrous actions. Just because you're a parent doesn't mean you accept everything your child does in life, and not accepting does not mean you love them any less. Accepting bad behavior and overlooking does not help them to become the best person they can be. We're supposed to guide them, support them, and help them learn. Not teach them that everything wrong they do is someone else's fault. This way of parenting is why we now have a society overrun with narcissists. This mothers way of thinking shows me what foundation led to her son being the heartless monster he is and clearly has not helped him at all in life, has it? No, it hasn't. So yes, the mother asking for everyone to show her son dignity is straight b.s. knowing what he put Deborah and her children through. Being this way is NOT being a caring, loving mother. It's being an enabler!

    But if any one there is in any situation where you’re about to make a decision that you know will change your life forever, or change someone else’s for the worse, just do it-do NOT announce it.
    It’s a big risk to take that one last gut-punch at someone if it’s your or your family’s life at risk. 🙏 ❤🙏

    Something tells me if it weren't for Yoda this killer would've killed again, probably during a home invasion whilst stealing food, clothing, credit cards and a vehicle. Why wasn't his escape route at the jail sorted out after the prior escape by the other inmate? Lastly how dumb were the people who left a firearm in the unlocked and open doored garage especially when the area has an escaped murderer hiding out there and the residents were told for days to remain vigilant. Thank God Yoda caught him or those residents would've had blood on their hands when he killed using their gun. Isn't it illegal to not store away weapons in a screwed to a wall gun safe in the States? Surely people aren't allowed to leave long guns scattered wherever, so in the event of a burglary these weapons end up in the underworld of organised crime?

      They quit as fast as they are hired. Why? Mandatory overtime.
      These COs are working 18 hour days basically every time they walk in the door.
      This problem doesn’t fall on the underpaid, overworked COs. This is a systemic problem with PA correctional facilities.
