I get a lot of request about making a longer video of my episode based motorcycle trips. Since I dont have the raw material anymore it is hard to make a new complete edit, so I give in... I have tried to shorten down some of the less interesting stuff and made it to a complete long movie. I'm sorry for you guys who have seen it many times before, but this will give me a good indication of if I should do own separate Long Videos in the future or stick to episode based stuff. I like your videography style and the professional outcomes. I therefore enjoy both episode and the longer format. If I had to choose I would select episode posts, but only because of time poor issues. Keep doing it both ways IMHO and keep showing us your excellent travel logs. I especially like that you don’t do on bike commentary. I always feel that detracts from the main show.. the fantastic scenery you encounter on motorcycles. Professionally superb and down to earth.

One of the great things about RUclips is that you get good numbers on what is good or not, so you can adjust accordingly. I will never do bike commentary, I can't stand to watch that my self, and it takes away what I find appealing with the whole motorcycle journey stuff. I rather spend time on visual storytelling. You must have taken so much effort to set up all these magnificent shots, then all the editing, choosing and syncing the music, etc. Just superb. Didn't want it to end. I thought 53:06 was a fantastic shot but you saved the best till last with Lysebotn. It was all brilliant. Except for the shot of you taking another piss in the fjord ;@). You are so lucky to live in Norway. I reckon if you spent a lifetime exploring all the fjords and mountains you would not be able to visit them all. Miss your KTM790. So thankfull for all of your videos. From the first of august till the 14th I did a solo tour through Norway. Never before had I done a trip outside of the country (NL) on my motorcycle, let alone even doing any kind of holiday on my own. And even though I have only had my license for 7 months in total, your videos still gave me all the confidence I needed! Riding motorcycles had been a dream of mine since I was a little kid so now that I had the ability to do a trip this summer, I ofcourse couldn't hold back and had to do it the right way! During the trip I learned a lot, but never have I had any doubts because thanks to your videos I felt like quite the expert on travelling in Norway! Your videos and information are basically what build my entire trip. I found a route on the website ''motorcycle diaries'' that you recommended, which turned out to be fantastic! Also all your videos are such high quality that it was very entertaining to watch.

I get the impression that a lot of people do that. They enjoy taking extra time and watch trough longer stuff. But if that is gonna happen, it need to be good and have high quality, so we have to work in some new workflows so I can make a longer video at the end of each episode based story. I will find a way 🤩🎥
Hahaha. I get so many request about making it a long film, so this is my attempt of reusing my episodes to make it one long video. This will be much easier to do when I keep the raw material, so in the future (if people like it) the long video will have better and more flow editing.
You are an amazing motorcycle content producer and ambassador for riding and Norway. I visited Norway a few times in the early 80s but never as a rider. Now I must return and ride your incredible roads to visit your amazing communities. Thank you for creating and sharing.

Brilliant, very well put together, very professional! Solo riding and camping definitely has its place. Riding with others is also enjoyable too! Being on your own allows you to do exactly what you want when you want. Norway is my favourite biking country, fantastic scenery, it’s never ending, overwhelming at times and so much better on a motorbike and being surrounded with nature camping. Looking forward to more videos this year.

Episodes please. I think it’s more important to touch in with your viewers more often for more frequent content and less often with longer contact. You have a great routine for keeping people engaged. keep up the great work Tom.
Indeed... I will not stop doing episodes. That is what I like most to make my self. But I get a lot of request about long videos as well, so I will see if I can mix it up, or try to release one or two long films in winter when there is less season to shoot from. This is just a little social experiment and it will give me way more hands on time with the edits in future project. Cheers, appreciate the honest feedback mate

Norway is such a beautiful country and you've captured it so well. I would really love to visit but the cost is keeping me from it as it's super expensive there. Good message regarding leaving no trace! I'd say follow that advice everywhere. Also, don't pee in water sources :) Greetings from Canada.
It truly is, it is not that expensive if you travel smart. You can wild camp and enjoy smal cabins for a fair price and the food is not that expensive if you plan om making some of it yourself. No trace is a must where ever you are. And this is not a water source, it is the ocean 🙈 I don't understand why so many react on this? Do you think it is better to pie in the bushes or on stony ground? I don't take a piss in fresh water, only the ocean.

Hammock camping is incredible. Have you ever tried the AMOK ? there you can sleep on the side or on your stomach if you want. Worth checking out if regular hammock is not your thing. I have the impression that we are quite similar to the Canadians. Would love to get over there one day en experience the wild. Cheers 🔥

I see this was posted 4 months ago, when did this trip actually take place. I’m trying to figure out the timeline to know more about the snow ❄️! Great video…takes a lot of forethought and editing. 😊Was fun to watch. I don’t know that I will 🎉EVER ride a KTM ( I am very petite) but it looks perfect to tour! Beautiful scenery. I ride an RS an R and a GS. Which drone did you use and would you recommend? Thank you!
This trip is a couple of years back, I did a series of it but everyone wanted me to edit it to a long video. The time period this trip took place was mid May! I really love the GS my self, or even better the GSA... I may end up on a BMW again one day. I use the mavic air 2. I would recommend the mavic air 2s. It is small enough so it is easy to pack, but it is also big enough to withstand some wind and have good picture quality. Cheers

You must have taken so much effort to set up all these magnificent shots, then all the editing, choosing and syncing the music, etc. Just superb. Didn't want it to end. I thought 53:06 was a fantastic shot but you saved the best till last with Lysebotn. It was all brilliant. Except for the shot of you taking another piss in the fjord ;@). You are so lucky to live in Norway. I reckon if you spent a lifetime exploring all the fjords and mountains you would not be able to visit them all.

So thankfull for all of your videos. From the first of august till the 14th I did a solo tour through Norway. Never before had I done a trip outside of the country (NL) on my motorcycle, let alone even doing any kind of holiday on my own. And even though I have only had my license for 7 months in total, your videos still gave me all the confidence I needed! Riding motorcycles had been a dream of mine since I was a little kid so now that I had the ability to do a trip this summer, I ofcourse couldn't hold back and had to do it the right way! During the trip I learned a lot, but never have I had any doubts because thanks to your videos I felt like quite the expert on travelling in Norway!
Your videos and information are basically what build my entire trip. I found a route on the website ''motorcycle diaries'' that you recommended, which turned out to be fantastic! Also all your videos are such high quality that it was very entertaining to watch.

I like this style of traveling. You show it nicely and the longer format gives you the feeling of the essence of motorcycle travel.
I get the impression that a lot of people do that. They enjoy taking extra time and watch trough longer stuff. But if that is gonna happen, it need to be good and have high quality, so we have to work in some new workflows so I can make a longer video at the end of each episode based story. I will find a way 🤩🎥

Hahaha. I get so many request about making it a long film, so this is my attempt of reusing my episodes to make it one long video. This will be much easier to do when I keep the raw material, so in the future (if people like it) the long video will have better and more flow editing.

Norway is my favourite biking country, fantastic scenery, it’s never ending, overwhelming at times and so much better on a motorbike and being surrounded with nature camping. Looking forward to more videos this year.

Episodes please. I think it’s more important to touch in with your viewers more often for more frequent content and less often with longer contact. You have a great routine for keeping people engaged. keep up the great work Tom.
Indeed... I will not stop doing episodes. That is what I like most to make my self. But I get a lot of request about long videos as well, so I will see if I can mix it up, or try to release one or two long films in winter when there is less season to shoot from. This is just a little social experiment and it will give me way more hands on time with the edits in future project. Cheers, appreciate the honest feedback mate

Norway is such a beautiful country and you've captured it so well. I would really love to visit but the cost is keeping me from it as it's super expensive there. Good message regarding leaving no trace! I'd say follow that advice everywhere. Also, don't pee in water sources :) Greetings from Canada.
It truly is, it is not that expensive if you travel smart. You can wild camp and enjoy smal cabins for a fair price and the food is not that expensive if you plan om making some of it yourself. No trace is a must where ever you are. And this is not a water source, it is the ocean 🙈 I don't understand why so many react on this? Do you think it is better to pie in the bushes or on stony ground? I don't take a piss in fresh water, only the ocean.

Hammock camping is incredible. Have you ever tried the AMOK ? there you can sleep on the side or on your stomach if you want. Worth checking out if regular hammock is not your thing. I have the impression that we are quite similar to the Canadians. Would love to get over there one day en experience the wild. Cheers 🔥

I see this was posted 4 months ago, when did this trip actually take place. I’m trying to figure out the timeline to know more about the snow ❄️! Great video…takes a lot of forethought and editing. 😊Was fun to watch. I don’t know that I will 🎉EVER ride a KTM ( I am very petite) but it looks perfect to tour! Beautiful scenery. I ride an RS an R and a GS. Which drone did you use and would you recommend? Thank you!
This trip is a couple of years back, I did a series of it but everyone wanted me to edit it to a long video. The time period this trip took place was mid May! I really love the GS my self, or even better the GSA... I may end up on a BMW again one day. I use the mavic air 2. I would recommend the mavic air 2s. It is small enough so it is easy to pack, but it is also big enough to withstand some wind and have good picture quality. Cheers
