Damn you have earned a sub. I am a computer nerd, but boy did your settings do wonders for my game. Gained 20 fps. Download his configs & just use them & adjust for your system like the cores for your cpu , this is explained in the video. This guy truly knows his stuff.

After tuning off BAR my 1% are 10 frames better. Also i had horrible frames in one particular map, the movie store/burger town map i think deleting shaders did the trick. Again the hero Fr33thy comes in clutch to save the day
its probably an issue with NVIDIA in particular. turning on SAM on my 5700X3D/7800XT setup increased my GPU score. but I guess this will work again horribly on BR like the 2 years before it here are my results GLOBAL RESULT AVG FPS - 237 FPS (SAM OFF) | 263 FPS (SAM ON) LOW 5th - 186 FPS (SAM OFF) | 200 FPS (SAM ON) LOW 1st - 176 FPS (SAM OFF) | 181 FPS (SAM ON)

I'm not too sure if it was mainly the resizable bar that was the issue, but my average FPS and 1% lows increased a lot and my game is much more stable. Only feedback to the video guy is to make the video a lot shorter and easier to follow. Maybe add checkmarks or something plz
Absolute legend, can always rely on your optimisations, turning off the BAR completely removed massive fps drops and stutters, used to go from 90-240 now it’s steady 200-240 i5 13600k / 7900XT.
think it may have fixed my random stutters also on my 12900k/3080 system. however i'm still unable to pull 200+fps average. i feel as though i should be getting a fair bit more than this. what's your benchmark results like on your system if you don't mind me asking?
@@Ladioz I'm on a 240hz monitor, so im wanting to run it at near refresh rate level. i normally can in any other game but lately it feels as though my pc's been a bit off even in other games. not sure if it just needs a clean out or if it needs a fresh windows install etc. almost seems as though i've gotten a virus or something but i'm not stupid enough to install sketchy things either as im decently knowledgable in that area as well as bios/windows optimizations. just can't work it out. as an example, i've been playing a physics based game thats locked to 62fps, and even in that game occasionally it'll freeze up for half a second and drop to 40fps. however temps are fine etc. 🤔

honestly for me is one of the most if not the most optimized cod since mw19... i just tweaked some things and game runs really good, no crash, no framedrops, no lag or freeze of any kind.. my point of view
I've actually found that this COD runs pretty dang smooth out of the box this year, but as always you know I'm doing exactly what this fellow says because he has never let me down
7800xt here on launch the input lag was crazy. Play on mnk and it was unplayable, downloaded the latest driver also fsr 3 frame generation was on by default. Had to go into the config file folder and manually disable frame generation. Smooth as butter after doing those 2 things ✅
Found that by going into the config file and changing the memory to “Medium” instead of “Extra Large” I’m back to 250fps on almost every map with a 3080ti… I was getting only 170-180 before.
Tried everything in this video, my 7800X3D still gets around 80 avg fps lower than your 7950X3D which is odd. The fps drops are a lot better tho after turning re-bar off, the avg fps is around 20 lower tho and the gpu is now below the cpu which is good and applying a minor oc might be a good option but I still dont't get why my cpu avg fps and 1st and 5th are significantly lower than yours. My pc is fully optimised by myself and there's not a whole lot you can do for x3d chips, you'd expect the 7800x3d to be getting more frames than a 7950x3d as welll so it's quite odd. Do you disable SMT? Only thing I haven't tried but I don't know whether it's necessary for a 7800x3d and I always get the "Access is Denied" popup in Process Lasso or Task Manager when trying to change affinity etc on cod.exe
The config looks "wonderful" for a lowspecgamer's dream graphics settings. A ton of clutter removed and visibility is just crisp. But I got an issue with insides of buildings having blocky shadows that move constantly. Might be the shader compilation, i'll update once they're done.

Appreciate the video as I've always followed your guides, I have a couple questions, i have the 5800X3D, is it as complicated to set up as the 7800x3d? (I have my render count at to 7 in all 3 configs) also my cpu runs way hotter in bo6 than it did in mw3 (mw3 73-77), im hitting 85 in bo6 which with me being disabled and no money to fix my pc if something overheats I've found myself not wanting to play it, I found an article on twitter where the guy states the game is overloads cores, are you familiar with this issue and would it cause my heat issue? And finally after a fresh install of nvidia drivers would resize bar still be enabled in nvidia profile Inspector? I have it set to false in all 3 config files but my frames are all over the place, i play zombies and they go from 220-240 to 100 to 90 back to 270 around roubd 39 120-140 with extreme lag, I dont have Inspector on my pc anymore but I can get it again if needed, i didn't do a DDU just installed over the old driver with the clean option checked
@FR33THY should I worry about my cpu hitting 85° in zombies , i ran 2 passes back to back in cinebench, multi core and single, it did hit 88° once for a split second 85 & 86 2 times for a quick second never thermal throttled, averages were 78-81, im a stroke survivor and it took me 2 years saving to get this pc, i dont have money to get a new one, i have an arctic freezer 2 360 aio, checked all fan curves they are aggressive, also 3 120 mm intakes, 4 110 mm exhaust, this just started happening with bo6 , idle temps are 44 my house is an oven though (ambient temp around 74-76). If this were you what would you recommend i do im afraid to even turn it on, i dont know how to diag anything going bad
Do you know what they added or changed in the Nvidia driver 566.03? Because in the config file the recommended Nvidia driver is 560.70. That is what I am running and with no performance issues. Also, I tested RendererWorkerCount on 6, 7 ,8, 16 and 16 yielded the best results and the same in LatencyMon. With 6,7, and 8, I would see Nvidia Kernel Driver DPC but still within acceptable range and once I changed it to 16, I would only see ACPI.sys also with acceptable range. For me, the in-game CPU time and GPU time was consistent and always in between 3-4MS. My system 14900KS and RTX4090 custom loop.

Unfortunately, I keep experiencing Direct X Errors in this game - I've done MemTests and had no errors, tried removing RAM sticks and re-seating, and constantly crashing (seemingly between Multiplayer Games or mid game). Any idea on how this could be fixed? Seems to be the only game I experience it which is a real pain.
Great video but for me having resizable bar on didn't lower the 1% lows. Running 4070s + 13700k and in the benchmark i am gpu limited ~70% of the time.
Got the PC gamepass version. Was getting 520 fps on cpu and 320 on gpu on mw3 benchmark. Getting around 300 on cpu and 200 on gpu on bo6 benchmark. 14700k @5.8 ghz, 4080, 32gig ram @7800 mts. Also, noticed you got nvidia dlss frame gen setting in your video, which is n/a on the gamepass version...

Hey Freethy, we need an optimization guide for the game Hunt Showdown. It's the best extraction shooter right now, but I don't see anyone working on optimizations for this game. That's sad because it's hardcore competitive and has so much potential. It would be really cool if you could check out the game, it's a hidden gem.
Would you know how to fix this, my screen is blacked out where id typically see my character walking around? If a menu moves over it then I can see my character but besides that its blacked out. I moved your config over and now getting it

Try setting your game to open as administrator or by changing its priority level to High. If any other program takes priority over the game, it will not be in Exclusive mode. Make sure Discord or any other overlays are off or not in high priority as well.
Iv just done the windows optimisation from one of your previous vids and now used this setttings and my game is terrible its stuterring like crazy and i cant seem to revert it back after going through individual settings any suggestions
after your config, i cant no longer enable dlss. everything else i can change but if i try to change to dlss, it changes itselt back to fidelityfx cas. how i can change it to dlss?
Chris, I have a rx7800xt paired with a i7-10700 on a 1440p - 165 hz monitor. I get 200+ frames. I capped with Riva Tuner to 163 fps and it never dips below 163. Would I be better off going uncapped or leaving it capped?
Also, how in the absolute hell are you getting single digit latency? I'm never less than 30-35ms but often times I'm higher than that. I have gigabit. I've always had an issue with latency when it comes to COD specifically.

i've got an i9-12900k paired with a 3080 OC 10GB, can't seem to get over 200+ average fps in benchmark for the life of me even after the tweak. feel as though this system should be pulling more than that. however, i think disabling rebar did fix the random stutters i was getting. in your opinion, is the CPU/GPU i've got a good match? i've heard the 12900k may be slightly weak for the GPU, but i'm unsure. Currently pulling about 185fps average in the benchmark results.
i have similar specs, 12700k and 3080ti 12gb vram. my avg fps is 164 and it is showing my gpu having a 98% bottleneck. seems like that gpu bottleneck is really high
@@jerrytweak i managed to get mine up to 198 avg fps, after following fr33thys 2 hour windows optimization guide, i already had 90% of the things he mentioned but yeah. and i think that gpu bottleneck thing is abit cap like it says it because you’ve got everything turned down extremely low so the gpu is barely being used. doesn’t necessarily mean a true bottleneck where the cpu is performing horribly because of the gpu. just means the cpu is all that’s being used
So I've been having a big issue with packet burst, even with a 14900k. I realized I hadn't reduced the rendererworkercount to 7, so I changed that, and my bottleneck went from roughly 50/50 with a 4090 and 14900k to 98% gpu, but I also lost some performance. I'm unsure why. Regardless, I am still running into packet burst on a regular basis. I've read that this is either a network issue or a cpu issue. Since reducing the renderworkercount setting to 7, it is less frequent, but still happening. To be honest, I've seen so many videos claiming "this setting fixes it" but it never does and nobody has concisely explained exactly what packet burst is. Do you know? Do you have any idea what settings could fix this? I have more than adequate cooling, running intel extreme spec, and in 3440x1440 with your settings I'm getting roughly 218fps in benchmark (which is less than you get in 4k). The game is more than playable, outside these packet burst issues which completely ruin the experience and I feel like is one of the major causes of desync and hit reg issues. I'm not positive though. Any help is appreciated.
Hi, so my Ryzen 9 5950X has 16 Cores, but I have heard you should not set the RendererWorkerCount higher than 8 for Black Ops 6 / Warzone. Should there be any issues setting mine at 15? I mean, the text file says we can.
When I use the ingame benchmark tool, It claims that I have roughly a 50/50 bottleneck between CPU and GPU. I have a 4090 and 14900k. My question is what is the ideal situation? Is a 50/50 bottleneck ideal, or is it best to be 100% bottlenecked by the GPU? I've always believed it to be the latter, but in theory I would think you would want an even balance between the two. I'm not sure and can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere. Thanks for all the info you provide!
Even with some of my settings being higher than optimal, I'm running 3440x1440 and only getting around 190-200fps in the benchmark, with usually something like 44% CPU and 56% GPU bottleneck. I don't know why this is as I have not seen really any other benchmarks with a roughly even bottleneck between the two. It's mostly always one or the other that is much higher. I'm going to reflash my MSI BIOS later today to the most recent version and hopefully that will help.
I have also noticed that the "rendererworkercount" setting mentions "threads" instead of "cores". My 14900k is 8 core/16 thread so I'm not sure why setting this to 7 is beneficial. Is there any particular reason why this is?
Settinga worked great tweaked a few only issue maybe you can help some rock and ground textures are black did this to me before had to run in safe mode to fix then re adjust all the settings again which i really don't wanna do

It's comical how broken the game is. I play Warzone at 1440p and output my stream to Twitch (1080) and YT (1440) WHILE having 2 instances of Source Record recording at 1440p (gameplay) and 1080p (webcam) and still get 180 FPS in game with ZERO stuttering or choppy video. Attempted to stream BO6 to JUST Twitch with both Source Record filters on and immediately drop frames and only get 100 FPS.

Crazy how on my 5900X/4090 BO6 runs worse for me than MWII, even optimized and at low settings. CPU is really feeling the pressure now lol
Yeah 5900x is a great cpu but for a 4090, your probably get more fps with a x3d chip

Hey Freethy, we need an optimization guide for the game Hunt Showdown. It's the best extraction shooter right now, but I don't see anyone working on optimizations for this game. That's sad because it's hardcore competitive and has so much potential. It would be really cool if you could check out the game, it's a hidden gem.

do you do internet optimization? my ping spikes every gun fight and its unplayable sigh, I factory reset my PC, and its good for three days and then goes to crap, most notably after updates(game or driver)

I cant play ANY game in fullscreen mode.. it just tabs out then i have to reclick into it. so i play borderless windowed to counteract it but i like stretched res so cant user it with that. Cheers
Try setting your game to open as administrator or by changing its priority level to High.
If any other program takes priority over the game, it will not be in Exclusive mode. Make sure Discord or any other overlays are off or not in high priority as well.
Iv just done the windows optimisation from one of your previous vids and now used this setttings and my game is terrible its stuterring like crazy and i cant seem to revert it back after going through individual settings any suggestions
Delete the config file %appdata% then within your games folder deleted config and restart the game and see if it's fixed.
after your config, i cant no longer enable dlss. everything else i can change but if i try to change to dlss, it changes itselt back to fidelityfx cas. how i can change it to dlss?

Chris, I have a rx7800xt paired with a i7-10700 on a 1440p - 165 hz monitor. I get 200+ frames. I capped with Riva Tuner to 163 fps and it never dips below 163. Would I be better off going uncapped or leaving it capped?

Also, how in the absolute hell are you getting single digit latency? I'm never less than 30-35ms but often times I'm higher than that. I have gigabit. I've always had an issue with latency when it comes to COD specifically.
Not sure if it just me but I think the optimisation is good on my 12600k 6800xt system the game runs really good on max settings 1440p
Do not use any upscaling or frame gen, it nukes your fps!

i've got an i9-12900k paired with a 3080 OC 10GB, can't seem to get over 200+ average fps in benchmark for the life of me even after the tweak. feel as though this system should be pulling more than that. however, i think disabling rebar did fix the random stutters i was getting.
in your opinion, is the CPU/GPU i've got a good match? i've heard the 12900k may be slightly weak for the GPU, but i'm unsure. Currently pulling about 185fps average in the benchmark results.
i have similar specs, 12700k and 3080ti 12gb vram. my avg fps is 164 and it is showing my gpu having a 98% bottleneck. seems like that gpu bottleneck is really high
@@jerrytweak i managed to get mine up to 198 avg fps, after following fr33thys 2 hour windows optimization guide, i already had 90% of the things he mentioned but yeah. and i think that gpu bottleneck thing is abit cap like it says it because you’ve got everything turned down extremely low so the gpu is barely being used. doesn’t necessarily mean a true bottleneck where the cpu is performing horribly because of the gpu. just means the cpu is all that’s being used

So I've been having a big issue with packet burst, even with a 14900k. I realized I hadn't reduced the rendererworkercount to 7, so I changed that, and my bottleneck went from roughly 50/50 with a 4090 and 14900k to 98% gpu, but I also lost some performance. I'm unsure why.
Regardless, I am still running into packet burst on a regular basis. I've read that this is either a network issue or a cpu issue. Since reducing the renderworkercount setting to 7, it is less frequent, but still happening. To be honest, I've seen so many videos claiming "this setting fixes it" but it never does and nobody has concisely explained exactly what packet burst is. Do you know? Do you have any idea what settings could fix this? I have more than adequate cooling, running intel extreme spec, and in 3440x1440 with your settings I'm getting roughly 218fps in benchmark (which is less than you get in 4k). The game is more than playable, outside these packet burst issues which completely ruin the experience and I feel like is one of the major causes of desync and hit reg issues. I'm not positive though. Any help is appreciated.

When I use the ingame benchmark tool, It claims that I have roughly a 50/50 bottleneck between CPU and GPU. I have a 4090 and 14900k. My question is what is the ideal situation? Is a 50/50 bottleneck ideal, or is it best to be 100% bottlenecked by the GPU? I've always believed it to be the latter, but in theory I would think you would want an even balance between the two. I'm not sure and can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere.

Even with some of my settings being higher than optimal, I'm running 3440x1440 and only getting around 190-200fps in the benchmark, with usually something like 44% CPU and 56% GPU bottleneck. I don't know why this is as I have not seen really any other benchmarks with a roughly even bottleneck between the two. It's mostly always one or the other that is much higher. I'm going to reflash my MSI BIOS later today to the most recent version and hopefully that will help.

In my case, Rebar yielded better 1% FPSs so keep experimenting guys.
I have also noticed that the "rendererworkercount" setting mentions "threads" instead of "cores". My 14900k is 8 core/16 thread so I'm not sure why setting this to 7 is beneficial. Is there any particular reason why this is?

Settinga worked great tweaked a few only issue maybe you can help some rock and ground textures are black did this to me before had to run in safe mode to fix then re adjust all the settings again which i really don't wanna do

I used ddu/nvclean install. Its dropped my frames by 30 updating the driver
There is absolutely no need to update to the current driver, there are better older drivers, fr33thy is just an amateur cooker
So question: what if, after I followed the video, my game runs worse as well as my PC as a whole when the game is open? Not dogging on you, just more like "this is what happened and I really want my performance back".

It's comical how broken the game is. I play Warzone at 1440p and output my stream to Twitch (1080) and YT (1440) WHILE having 2 instances of Source Record recording at 1440p (gameplay) and 1080p (webcam) and still get 180 FPS in game with ZERO stuttering or choppy video. Attempted to stream BO6 to JUST Twitch with both Source Record filters on and immediately drop frames and only get 100 FPS.
I littery got a 4090rtx i13900 ks 64g ram 5200hz and i get 160fps on 1080p lowest settings? All other games run well but this one is catastrophic
