First of all, I want to thank you for the amazing feedback on Part 1 of this video series. It’s incredible to see that it’s now reached over 3,000 views, and I’ve gained over 220 new subscribers-welcome to the channel! In today’s video, we’ll dive deeper into optimizing your connection using the Windows Resource. I’ll also explain what Geofencing is and how you can use it to (hopefully) improve your server connection. As always, feel free to leave your thoughts, questions, or suggestions in the comments below, and don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoy the content. Your support means everything :)
Loved your first video on this topic. I had watched tacticalbrit as you said and had some sneaking suspicions that I was being connected to random servers all across the US and such despite being based in us east. My dad being a network engineer and teaching me how routers and firewalls and ports and such work, it just took about an hour after watching your first video on the subject to track down the IPs i was being connected to that pertained to packet loss and bad gameplay. Thanks so much for bringing this topic to the public. You're doing a huge service to everyone on COD
That’s such a kind and thoughtful comment-thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! It’s awesome to hear that my video could help spark some deeper insights, especially with your background knowledge from your dad. The fact that you took the initiative to track down the root of the issues is super impressive! I'm glad this information is making a difference, and comments like yours motivate me to keep digging into these topics. Thank you for your support-it means a lot!
@@siiioxide wrong I connected to new zealand and still am today and I'm in central America... I get 30 to 40 ping no connection issues and I still felt lie they had aim bot in multi-player
Awesome, been waiting for the follow up. Thanks for your tutorial as well as the in-depth analysis. I wonder if the other video was recommended due to me watching TheTacticalBrit on and off, or what made it pop up in my recommended, either way, glad it did. You deserve all the attention you are getting and more for helping the CoD community, thanks once again. Will try this out later. :D
So i tested with only 3 Adresses blocked, and so far no hit reg issues. Game feels smooth, and trust me it was hell the prior games. It does take a minute to find match, but im ok with that. Note: this could be pure luck , will test more when i get some sleep.
@@CrapsGoodxD I have to agree with the other person, my hit reg seems a lot better, even in 10v10 matches! It feels a lot better to play the game. Still lots of packet bursts, but I feel like my matches are a bit more fair.
I am so glad to hear that. But this is how I also felt. Until I played like 10 games in a row because I had so much fun. The SBMM is still there, don’t get me wrong. 1.3KD. But the games I had since then were around 2-4KD. Just because the connection felt really smooth.
@@xreve_ Hey, I have a 1.3 KD as well, and I also experienced this! Matches right after blocking all the servers were much easier, and I had 2-3 KD on avg for several matches. It was super fun too! I played mainly 10v10. Hope matches feeling more casual/fun is the new norm!
New sub here, just wanted to mention the shadow ban because I think some people might get confused The shadow ban happened when he purposely tried connecting to servers around the world, not blocking IPs
Do be like that sometimes. Do you have a special router? Some routers do that, disabling any connections thats not needed. Otherwise I do not know, sorry.
Tell ChatGPT: how to block a /24 address range in Windows firewall Tell it that you don't know exactly what that means but that's it's necessary and important (mention that it's for all protocols, executables and ports) You may also ask about the resource monitor part but it's shown in the video so :p
I am sorry if I didn’t really go into detail. But the guy above is right. If you use the resource monitor and find the IPs, you can copy paste them into ChatGPT, and tell it to write you a powershell command, that blocks the entire remote IP address range of the pasted IPs, by using 0/24 at the end, to block the whole IP addresses range. It will then give you a powershell command and it works like a charm.
yo my man i love you im about to try out this fix for my game... it has been driving me absolutely insane because i KNOW im not THAT BAD but for the love of all things i suck the past couple weeks with all the exact same issues you have described and I WANT to play this game but have been thinking about stopping because its just such BS all the time I will edit this comment in like 30 mins when i try the fix and play a few games and see... FINGERS CROSSED HOMIE
I completely understand your frustration, and I’m really glad you’re giving this fix a try! The issues you’re describing can be incredibly disheartening, especially when you just want to enjoy the game. Fingers crossed it makes a difference for you-I’ll be looking forward to hearing how it goes after a few games. Best of luck, and thank you for sharing your experience!

Is there a way to do this for players on PS5? Would you be able to block the IPs on your router/wifi settings if you were able to find which IPs you need to block?
Yes! You would need to see which IPs your PS5 connects too. There are tutorials on youtube on how to do that. And then you can block these IPs in the router settings.
how many servers would u recommend blocking, and which servers are off limits to blocking? ive heard there is certain ips that will cause issues when blocking
as many as you can .. and you should focus on the IPs with 2 digits in the front, not 3. But you wont be able to see many 3 digit IPs when in game. Some people made a list in the lobby, and blocked several IPs. Thats why I said you need to be in game. So focus on the ones with 2 digits in the front. And once you blocked an IP and you lose the connection to the game, just unblock it. Some IPs are for the Voice and Text Chat, some are for the player stats. And there is one server, for Eurpoeans afaik in Ireland, thats the server it connects to when booting the game. If you block that one, you wont be able to login obv.
microsoft has not changed a thing, packet burst is still a problem, the "comminuty" always blames SBMM but i know it EOMM, sbmm should not cause my ping to sky rocket when im 20 miles from the closest server
Great video! but Im not really getting the point? you show how to get better servers and thats great and all, but then you got shadow banned and deinstalled the game due to unplayable lobbies? Do you think this was because of blocking ips? Thanks for all the effort you put in research!
Good question, didn’t really clarify. I didn’t get banned because of blocking IPs/geofencing. I got banned because I used the other mentioned tools. When you block IP addresses, even in real-time in game - nothing happens. You might block a crucial IP for the game to run properly and loose the connection. The game will tell you. But I used other programs, and my game closed itself at least 100x a day. And that was the anti cheat. And since today I actually cannot login to my account anymore. So I made a new one.
May have been answered already: only high latency Adress starts with 3 digits. Why should we only use 2 digit ones? Does it mess up the game from your experience?
Yes, exactly! The 3 digit IP adresses most likely have the highest latency, but they could be the server for player stats. You can experiment, if your game lost connection after you blocked an IP, and you are not able to go online no more, just undo the changes. Its trial and error, until you have the blocked the "bad" IPs.
Hopefully you can answer, but lets say you play with friends that didnt do all of this. But me who is the host did. Will playing with friends revert what you did. Will it start finding random lobbies again. and then theres the question of what if im not the host. I i join my friend and he hosting do we start finding random lobbies.
If you have a Geofence active and your friends join your lobby, your Geofence is usually enough, as the lobby host’s settings typically apply. Your friends don’t need to have the Geofence enabled themselves. However, if you join someone else’s lobby and they don’t have a Geofence active, their settings will override yours, meaning the matchmaking might not follow your Geofence restrictions.
@@xreve_ thanks for reply but when i block the ip my game lost connection sio i unblock it again btw this ip start with 3 digits i learn in the comments that one can only block ip with 2 digits.
One IP that is always high ping for me (80-100+, im in the US) is Demonware on the 3074 port, which is what COD uses. Its all the way in fkn Ireland. My theory is that's part of the problem with the lag/desync, at least for people far away from Ireland. In game ping of 15-20 but some IP's im connected to are 60-100 in Resource Monitor, which just seems so unnecessary and not efficient. So far this guide seems to be working, sometimes feels wonky still, but that might just be my ISP's routing/congestion, who knows. Thanks man!
Oh that is what you mean, my bad. It means the first segment only should have two. As you said will work! xx.xx or xx.xxx does not matter, only the first segment.
@@xreve_ is there a reason we dont add the triple segment ones to the block list? i notice i have a triple segment address that is usually the one with the highest latency
Besides high ping game servers what could be the cause/fix for the packet loss/packet bursting? I normally get put on sub 50ms servers and I am happy with that, but the constant packet bursting and packet loss is so annoying!
When I had many of these IPs blocked, I had really good games without packet bursts. And I get ONLY at the beginning of the round. Maybe once appeared while playing a match. People suggested that it has to do with graphic settings. So I might have to look into that and why that is. Already read about it weeks ago. Arguing that the content that is streamed while playing, causes these issues and you have to temper with VRAM size etc. Totally don’t know at the moment. I will look into that.
It's the mandatory texture streaming and the fact a lot of the maps take place on a low poly future warzone map. Just playing this game or sitting in menus hogs so much bandwidth. It's basically like trying to play COD while someone in your house is streaming Netflix in 4K. The only way around it is QoS (Quality of Service) on your router. I use cake which is a packet queue management system. If you have a lot of varied network traffic this might not be the best solution as it's primarily about bandwidth fairness, so your gaming won't be prioritised but it's the only way I've managed to stop the packet bursting and receive them properly.
@@AdamH7 Would enabling QoS on my router cause other MP games to be slow? I def am interested if it lessens packet bursts in CoD. I'm pretty sure my router supports that feature too.
Hey, I usually play on both SA and NA servers to join friends. If I use something like ExitLag to connect to a specific region, like New York, does the IP blocking method still work while using a VPN? Can I block several IPs from different regions so no matter what region I play I still get the same benefit of blocking bad ips?
That’s based on the stuff I have read. In theory, IPs with 2 digits in front, have a bigger range of servers. Which means it’s better to block the range of 2 digit IPs. While 3 digit IPs are specific and probably not worth blocking. And you can try this yourself, trial and error. But I have a 3 digit IP adress, that is connected to Ireland. And without this IP, my game won’t launch. Sometimes it looses connection when blocking 3 digit IPs. So they are essential for the game.
@@illumidaddy7724 My hit registration feels better and it's as if the game is faster, my shots hit harder, and I can play more aggressively. It definitely feels better to play.
Usually not necessary since it’s close to real-time the changes you make. But if nothing changes, it looks like you’re most likely to connect to the closest / best server all the time. Like I said, completely different for everyone. One thing you could try after a match, is to leave the lobby, and press „find match“ again. That should, in theory, look for newer ones. But if you keep finding the same one, guess you cannot do anything about it.
Hey, is there any way you could share the list of ip's you have personally blocked? Could also be through discord or some other channel if you don't want to publicly post them. I think I read somewhere in the comments that you were located in Germany. I live in a neighbour country so that list would make a good baseline for blocking the servers that are veryy high ping.
My new video is out here: ruclips.net/video/VJJ6yPpFosI/видео.html Here’s what’s worked (and hasn’t) for me so far, based in Germany: IP ranges that have worked the best for me: 13.107.3.0/24 20.44.86.0/24 13.86.37.0/24 20.242.71.0/24 52.96.52.0/24 52.13.58.0/24 Not sure about these ones-they seem to break things (test them for yourself): 52.137.108.0/24 23.50.131.0/24 This one blocks levels, calling cards, and emblems for me: 20.96.52.198 (Everyone appears as level 1 with the same calling cards and emblems.) This one seems to be essential for booting the game (likely Demonware’s server in Ireland): 185.34.106.90 (I blocked it during testing and couldn’t log in afterward.)
@@HotLeafJuicer all good, I could have been a bit more precise, youre not the only one asking. Firewall fine - do adjustments in real time - no issue. Game wont close. If it does, it will say it lost connection. If you use other prorgams, that are detected by the anti cheat, the game will close on you :D
That’s interesting, many people claimed that. Could be because of many reasons. Usually, if someone’s see 2 digit IPs, it means that are servers being geographically closer. ISP (Internet Service Provider) and the routing of it can be the cause. You can say that insufficient routing leads to 3 digit IP addresses. Also, newer connections like fiber-optics result in better latency than for example old infrastructure like DSL. Seems like you are either far away from the „better“ servers, and/or your ISP has bad routing. And usually the only thing you can do there is switch.
If you're not seeing any servers in Resource Monitor with latency starting in the two-digit range, it could point to a few underlying network issues. One possibility is that the servers you're connected to might be located far away, which inherently causes higher latency. If the servers are in different regions, the physical distance can result in delayed responses. Another factor could be inefficient routing by your Internet Service Provider. If your ISP is routing traffic through suboptimal paths, it can lead to higher latency. Running a traceroute might help identify where the issue is, and you could contact your ISP with the results if necessary. You could also test by using a VPN to see if it changes the routing path and improves latency. Your router or firewall settings might also be playing a role. Sometimes, these devices can block or filter traffic in ways that cause delays. You should check your router's settings, particularly the Quality of Service (QoS) options, and ensure no unnecessary traffic restrictions are in place. Network congestion is another possible cause. If your local network is being used by other devices for heavy activities like streaming or large downloads, it can lead to slower responses. Testing your connection during non-peak hours when network traffic is lower can help determine if this is the issue.
Thanks for the explanation! I know nothing about networking and the two things that will likely prevent me from doing this is the time commitment and potential shadow banning. Your tutorial also makes me wonder if an app can be created to run in the background, analyze network traffic automatically, then after enough data is collected, the app suggests certain IPs to block. Just a thought.
@ understood. I found your video and explanation to be incredibly insightful. So for that, thank you. Are you suggesting that by just limiting access and removing certain connection paths to undesirable IPs that I would not be at risk of shadow banning? Or is this somewhat uncharted territories?
Is it plausible that Activision is misleading players with the in-game latency value? I don't think it matters whether it's intentional or not, but it sure would be a convenient bug (or feature) to obfuscate the negative gameplay consequences of match-making based on anything other than connection and to reduce overall complaints about poor connection. Different topic: I think it's best to geofence within your router's settings and not your PC. It's plausible that Ricochet, given its kernel-level access, can detect when Windows Firewall is blocking connection to certain IPs. If you geofence via your router, there's no way for programs running on your PC (or console) to determine you're screwing with your connection to their servers intentionally and possibly maliciously (e.g. to get 'bot lobbies' to beat up on). The interface in your router's settings is probably a lot easier to setup traffic rules on as opposed to clicking through numerous menus and sub-menus in Windows as well. Bonus: Geofencing via your router also makes this method possible to use on consoles as well. Some premium routers like the Netduma even come with geofencing features for connection-focused gamers built-in.
I mean there is a reason why they don’t show ping on the leaderboard anymore. From how the game plays, even with me having 12ms and 1000Mbps and no other device connected to my network, it is for sure the servers. And I cannot agree or disagree on the kernel level access and the firewall, but the game never closed itself when I made changes in the firewall. The only time I got kicked multiple times, over and over again was when I changed my up- and download speed, as well as having mentioned programs running in the background. I know my way around certain stuff, but not everything. And by tempering with the speeds, I did end up in such „bot lobbies“ - because, I assume, my matchmaking took way longer (because of poor connection), so it won’t favor SBMM and will look for a lobby to put me in, without my connection getting too bad. And once I joined these lobbies, I got kicked instantly or after couple minutes. But these lobbies were really casual, total opposite of what was going on in normal lobbies. After that I went to see how other countries servers perform and what infos I could get there. And shortly after that, the lobbies I got here in Europe, were a complete disaster. Which again is probably due to the enforcement on my activision account that I saw after doing some research. And if you tamper with certain stuff, you get on the naughty list. You can look up their enforcement policy on their website.
I also reinstalled BO6 again to see if I am really shadow banned, but I am not. Had 4x games on Nuketown, and it felt so smooth. Geofencing can be a game changer. Of course there will be instances where it’s still a server issue, but you can minimize it on your end as well.

Yes it can. Usually I find game with 24ms, but after doing that it sometimes goes up to 50ms. But it’s totally fine. Finding games within 15-20 seconds.
Hey, danke fürs Video, wirklich interessant! Ich wohne auch in der Nähe von Frankfurt - könntest du vielleicht die Liste an geblockten IPs teilen? Ich denke damit würdest du vielen Spielern aus Deutschland helfen.
you got shadow banned for doing this? I was waiting for this tutorial and now I dont want to try it, cause i dont want to get shadow banned. i experience packet burst in every single black ops 6 match i play no matter what ping i have. it unfortunate because i really enjoy the gameplay in bo6.
I would say I am not sure if I got shadow banned. But the game closed after I used certain tools mentioned in the video. They kicked me everytime when connecting servers around the world. Geofencing won’t get you banned. You adjust things in the firewall or your router without any issues. There are specific gaming routers that can do this out of the box.

@@HIdden.Sound.Village yeah but i recommend trying blocking all ip addresses through your router firewall rather than your pc……also try caping your download and upload bandwidth (both) to 1-2 Mbps. This improves connection sync

Warzone, black ops 6 and call of duty in general SUCKS because they obviously have no clue what they are doing!! They release broken games and then take weeks or months to get it fixed! Multi billion dollar company and they don’t have to ability to broadly test, test and test some more before releasing a dog shit broken game with perks that don’t work guns that don’t register correctly and the most HORRENDOUS audio I’ve ever heard in my life before releasing it to the public and giving the players the worst experience in COD history?! The only thing they care about is making money! They release broken games, broken updates, dog shit audio and everything else because they know people will play it anyway for whatever reason. Maybe one day someone will make a BR game that actually works the way it’s suppose to and bankrupt call of duty!!
I feel you 100%! I grew up with COD4, and MW2 especially shaped my childhood. They know they’ve got a cash cow with the franchise, especially after the success of Warzone during Covid. The microtransactions made them an insane amount of money, and I think that’s when they realized they can just serve us unfinished games-because people will buy them anyway for BR or Zombies. Like why does MWIII have Zombies? It’s a modern warfare. They just mix so much stuff together to cater to the majority. Personally, I play COD for MP and Zombies, and I can’t stand Warzone (not BR itself, just how they handle it). What they’re doing now is a total scam. Their priorities are crystal clear: greed over community respect.
@ couldn’t agree more!! I’ve never been a fan of zombies nor have I ever even considered grinding camos but with bo6 I grinded every day the nebula camo and I got it in like 4-5 days! And I LOVE warzone but I have yet to play bo6 warzone because I feel a BR is all about the audio, gun functionality and variety. Yes it seems like we have a good variety FOR NOW! But the bo6 weapons (in my opinion) just have way to much horizontal recoil and those mid to long range shots are hard to stay on target. It shouldn’t be that difficult to control any weapon! All I’ve played so far is zombies and plunder just waiting for the audio to get fixed. Maybe after the 20th time the drop and take out rebirth island cause it’s shit to and add a few more AR’s to the store that shoot gumballs then MAYBE they’ll give some attention to the most played version of the game and give big map BR some bug fixes. But there’s no reason there should be this many problems with a video game!! And as far as this “hit list” even. It took 8 BILLION points to unlock the buffer stock and you can ONLY put it on the M4!! Now watch they’ll nerf it into the ground next week and make the M4 completely unusable like the did the Ram 7 in season 3 of MW3!!
Hahaha, I don’t have to do this. But I do whatever I can to improve my gaming experience. Even if I got to admit that the game is just really bad. But the core of it has so much potential. I wish, but I know it won’t happen, they would upgrade their servers.
I don't know but hell yeah the new bo6 wz integration is just f*king unplayable and the previous one was fr better believe me. The developers are just keep breaking it down untill it becomes a mess💦 my fps are fr stable and optimized with the previous one❤️
I use gpt to help me write pytho code to track the ips with their latency and write them into a text file i will track them the next view days and then block those with the highest ping
You know what is funny? I made one as well. It is just not working as intended. It shows the latency and the IPs, but when I want to save them, it only saves one IP and not the whole list. But it blocks latencies over 60ms for example. I press F10 to get a text file and another script that blocks the IPs in that text file. But as I said, it does not work as I intended to. If it does I will share it! Good luck with yours!

Awesome stuff! I also fixed mine before, it just works a little different. Yours works pretty well. I like it. The constant loop of checking for IPs is nice. Guess when you play for some hours, the list is full of high latency IPs. Thanks again!
No no, not by Geofencing. But by connecting to servers around the world with certain tools. But doing stuff with the resource monitor and the firewall, no. You can make adjustments in the firewall while in game, if you lose connection, you blocked a wrong IP maybe. You know that the AntiCheat closes the game when you do other stuff … then the game closes on you almost every single time. Repeatedly doing so will eventually put you on the naughty list.
Bro people kept telling me that. But I have a 4070ti and run this game on minimum graphic settings and still get massive packet bursts. And I’m connected by Ethernet. This shit sucks
I will have to look into that. I might release a new video today talking about the settings I have on PC. But to be fair, it all comes down to their servers.

The SBMM is still there, at least for me. But connection can be better and it sometimes could lead to you looking for games way longer than usual, and then you COULD circumvent the SBMM .. in theory. But I did not test that.
This did nothing . Played 5 games and removed all ips with more then 20 ping . east usa and still had horrible packet burst . the only way to fight sbmm/ lag is 2 boxing or just play something else . When i 2box the games were smoother and easier ( not bot lobbys tho they def shoot back they must of did something for mp bc i only get super bots in warzone now)
Sad to hear that. Many players did find it helpful. Especially Europeans. I would argue, that it is because you guys over there have really bad internet connection. It is a fact, not trying to mock here. So it could be that these changes literally did nothing at your end. Guess for you the only way to have a more enjoyable experience is by 2boxing then. Havent they fixed it?
You cannot fix their servers thats true, but you can make sure you get connected to the best latency servers, to ensure better gameplay. And people already commented and says it works very well.
yea it’s probably a consequence of treyarch not having enough time to port it over to the same engine, since they were forced to use it because of COD HQ

Tell ChatGPT:
how to block a /24 address range in Windows firewall
Tell it that you don't know exactly what that means but that's it's necessary and important (mention that it's for all protocols, executables and ports)
You may also ask about the resource monitor part but it's shown in the video so :p
Thanks guys

Is there a way to do this for players on PS5? Would you be able to block the IPs on your router/wifi settings if you were able to find which IPs you need to block?
Yes! You would need to see which IPs your PS5 connects too.
There are tutorials on youtube on how to do that. And then you can block these IPs in the router settings.
Yeah it works even on SA servers, here i have a LOT of 100+ ms connections, after disabling it, it became really good.
Pode me passar os IPs que bloqueou? Tbm sou do SA. Estou fazendo os testes. queria ver se os IPs são os mesmos.
@@LeonardoAugustto Pegou alguns? Vou começar a testar agora
how many servers would u recommend blocking, and which servers are off limits to blocking? ive heard there is certain ips that will cause issues when blocking
as many as you can .. and you should focus on the IPs with 2 digits in the front, not 3.
@ appreciate it gang ❤️
Appreciate the follow up video. Will give this a try
Let me know the results!
And microsoft owns Activision now, they dont have an excuse for sh!tty server's.
microsoft has not changed a thing, packet burst is still a problem, the "comminuty" always blames SBMM but i know it EOMM, sbmm should not cause my ping to sky rocket when im 20 miles from the closest server
Would using my routers built in Geo-Fencing capabilities do the same thing as blocking IP’s?
Yes, that would do the same!
Very interesting, I will have to try someday to replicate this
Did you mean that this method gave you the shadowban?
No, I did some other stuff as well with other programs. And Ricochet kicked me over and over again.
But blocking IPs did not give me a shadow ban.
So should you not block ips starting with 3 numbers even if they are high latency?
Server is bad is not enough though ❤ (network engineer here) 😎✅
May have been answered already: only high latency Adress starts with 3 digits.
@xreve_ danke dir vielmals!
Ach, selbstverständlich! :)
I’m one of the new guys. Good stuff keep it up
Thank you so much! ♥
I am kinda overwhelmed to be honest ..

Should be enough yes!
@@xreve_ Would definitely appreciate a video on the packet burst issue, and if there is any graphic settings that can be adjusted to alleviate them!
@ already working on it.
But I will go to sleep now. Maybe tomorrow I will upload already, I don’t know yet.
It should still work. But when using a VPN, that should be enough on its own. You will most likely get around SBMM that way.
Why focus on the IPs with 2 digits out front ?
Curious about this too. My guess it the 2 digit ones with high latency are the unnecessary ones. I opted to not block the 3 digit ones just in case.
@@MasterRyan97did you notice a difference?
@@MasterRyan97multi or warzone? I’ve only had a couple ips that were 2 digits 100ms+

Yes, it should!
how do i get around the family error i keep getting
What error are you getting? Never heard of that one ..
Servers IPs are not showing at all, I'm sad, was excited to try this
Do you need to completely close the game to get new servers. Nothing changes for me between matches in resource monitor?
Yes, I will share them with my next video!
@@xreve_ Thx for all the effort :)
My new video is out here: ruclips.net/video/VJJ6yPpFosI/видео.html
Here’s what’s worked (and hasn’t) for me so far, based in Germany:
IP ranges that have worked the best for me:
13.107.3.0/24
20.44.86.0/24
13.86.37.0/24
20.242.71.0/24
52.96.52.0/24
52.13.58.0/24
Not sure about these ones-they seem to break things (test them for yourself):
52.137.108.0/24
23.50.131.0/24
This one blocks levels, calling cards, and emblems for me:
20.96.52.198 (Everyone appears as level 1 with the same calling cards and emblems.)
This one seems to be essential for booting the game (likely Demonware’s server in Ireland):
185.34.106.90 (I blocked it during testing and couldn’t log in afterward.)
Wait, are the enforcements placed on your account due to blocking the IPs in Firewall or using other external methods?
External methods :D
@@xreve_ Oh thank you, got a bit confused even though you did mention the Firewall tweaks are all fine
Should wwe turn of texture streaming?
Set it to minimal. We cannot turn it off completely as far as I know.
in the connection TCP it doesnt show any servers, it shows only 2 ip adresses that starrt with 3 digits
@@xreve_ it may be bc i use starlink, so there is no way i can do this?
It seems like no. You could use a VPN, that could help!
I do not see the latency for any of my servers starting with 2 digits, what could be the reason and how can i fix it?
I could think of a python script.
And I think got banned because of using some tools mentioned in the video.
@ understood. I found your video and explanation to be incredibly insightful. So for that, thank you. Are you suggesting that by just limiting access and removing certain connection paths to undesirable IPs that I would not be at risk of shadow banning? Or is this somewhat uncharted territories?
Great work! Are we only blocking ips with latency over 100?
Yes, above 50 actually. Gotta test what works for you!
We're you shawdow banned from the correct implementation? Or was it from trial and error testing?
I was banned for using the other mentioned tools in the video. Geonfencing and blocking IPs won’t result in a ban.
I did this and my hit reg is better, I'm killing with 3 bullets. My gaming play it's a lot better
I also reinstalled BO6 again to see if I am really shadow banned, but I am not. Had 4x games on Nuketown, and it felt so smooth. Geofencing can be a game changer. Of course there will be instances where it’s still a server issue, but you can minimize it on your end as well.
Same, I also felt ttk was lower and I could play a lot more aggressively.
Thanks bro this is sick.... It's basically what my netduma router does but manual and free method 😅

Now watch they’ll nerf it into the ground next week and make the M4 completely unusable like the did the Ram 7 in season 3 of MW3!!
it is crazy u have to do this shit my german friend
Hahaha, I don’t have to do this. But I do whatever I can to improve my gaming experience. Even if I got to admit that the game is just really bad. But the core of it has so much potential. I wish, but I know it won’t happen, they would upgrade their servers.

Played for 60 rounds and random disconnect 😮 I hated the game last night
In warzone if my ping is above 17ms I just back out.
I don't know but hell yeah the new bo6 wz integration is just f*king unplayable and the previous one was fr better believe me. The developers are just keep breaking it down untill it becomes a mess💦 my fps are fr stable and optimized with the previous one❤️
I use gpt to help me write pytho code to track the ips with their latency and write them into a text file
i will track them the next view days and then block those with the highest ping
You know what is funny? I made one as well. It is just not working as intended. It shows the latency and the IPs, but when I want to save them, it only saves one IP and not the whole list. But it blocks latencies over 60ms for example. I press F10 to get a text file and another script that blocks the IPs in that text file. But as I said, it does not work as I intended to. If it does I will share it! Good luck with yours!

i used gpt 01-preview but you could also use claude ai
works for me if you hav eany more questions feel free to ask
Awesome stuff! I also fixed mine before, it just works a little different.
Yours works pretty well. I like it. The constant loop of checking for IPs is nice.
Guess when you play for some hours, the list is full of high latency IPs. Thanks again!
How many IP addresses have you block? I’m gonna feel dumb doing this because Activision can fix their servers.
I had 9 so guess. Also people asked for a list, I could see if Europeans can use the same IPs regardless.
@@xreve_ The list's gonna be helpful. I play in NA despite of being from Colombia...
So basically u can get banned for that? 😅
@@xreve_ naughty naughty boy
if you get a lot of packet bursts then it might be because your vram usage is too high
I only have a 4070 and a 7800X3D and I get packet bursts rarely. Usually when we spawned on the map. And that’s it, but I will look into it!
there's 10year old mobile games running higher server ticks 😅
dont play the game on steam and you good
I am not, having the Game Pass. Would never buy this game ..
@@xreve_ tons of people shitting on the performance and they all have in common that they play the game on steam or gamepass..theres even pay2win launchers these days xd
Even on Ps5 its Like this Omnilags and Packet Squirts all over the place. I am playing on Gamepass but my Friends on console have the Same experience, especially in high Skill lobbies. We are Just getting rekt every year over and over again thats why i stopped buying the Games
Did it myself, blocked a few ranges and no packet burst. But I didn't play so many matches with this weird firewall geofencing so idk
No idea about SBMM cause I'm on HC which is not something you'll find a bunch of noobs on imo
The SBMM is still there, at least for me. But connection can be better and it sometimes could lead to you looking for games way longer than usual, and then you COULD circumvent the SBMM .. in theory. But I did not test that.
Trash game get big big big dislike
First.
Havent they fixed it?
u cant fix a server with your pc sry guys
You cannot fix their servers thats true, but you can make sure you get connected to the best latency servers, to ensure better gameplay.
And people already commented and says it works very well.
goddamn mw3 gameplay looks sooo much better than blops6....
It really is! I love it compared to Bo6. Never played it before.
yea it’s probably a consequence of treyarch not having enough time to port it over to the same engine, since they were forced to use it because of COD HQ
All of em are blah
@@phr3ui559that don’t matter to be honest
Same game engine same servers 😂😂
Whats the reason you say you are shadow banned?
Probably because I used stuff that is not allowed. Not for geofencing.
Thank yo uthis is awesome! sbmmoff does this all for $50! I love it. IT makes the game a random experience rather than sbmm experience. ANd the discord is amazing!
