I think that the rendererworkercount should be set to 7 indeed - instead of 8 (e.g., on an Intel 12700K) since it also counts Core 0 as the first core. I’ll run more tests with these two settings and get back to you.
Another thing that can heavily impact the FPS is if you play on the steam version. Steam version of big map BR can make you lose about half your FPS. Battlenet and Game Pass version don't have this same issue.

One of the best video settings out there with the side by side comparisons and 1% lows. Any chance you can record some dark areas to see how to boost out the dark areas for a competitive advantage? Same for looking through windows.. Both could be a huge hit. Also, don't you post to twitter?
Hey bro, thank you for the detailed breakdowns and clear direct info. I have a Ryzen 5800x3D paired with a 3070 Ti. In Area 99 gpu usage is above 90 percent all of the time(1440p) but in the regular battle royale it is always between 50-60 percent which is equal to 70-80 fps. I changed rederer to 8 and 9 but doesnt change anything. Any recommandations?

would be very very preciated if you do this test every season update or every 2 season update because every new season we get different fps with same settings :D love your work man you are the best
Regarding the shader quality setting. If you set it to anything higher than low, the windows / glass areas start having reflections, and it is much hader to see people through them. If you keep it at low you will have a competitive advantage, since your visibility will be better. Tbh, this is very unfortunate since game looks like trash on low :(
If you go to Skyline bo6 map, the difference is very obvious. It is a good map to test that setting. I don't know if some other setting can change the situation, but I doubt it.

Your last video worked so well for me thank you! Not home to try this one yet but does it apply to bo and warzone or just warzone specifically? Thanks love your channel!!!
Appreciate it! These settings are specifically for Warzone. Sadly you can't have two sets of settings so to speak so what you set in Warzone also applies in MP which is not ideal...
Hey man, not sure if you’ve seen but there’s a lot of videos saying that the Steam version of the game has low fps VS Xbox GamePass & Battlenet versions. I use Steam and I get around 100-140fps while playing Plunder. The weird thing is that the game doesn’t feel like it’s running at that fps; like it’s not showing the right metrics. Just wanted to let you know! Might be a good idea to test the different versions.
Thanks for the Video! as usual great and informative. Quick question that came to mid when you talked about Tessellation. AMD Adrenaline allows you to turn on this feature and other settings on what I assume would be driver level on a game basis, what should we be doing with these settings? turn them off and leave the game managing the whole thing? same goes for Sharpness for example. Cheers
Thanks for the video! Have you tried to do this on an nvidia graphics card: set the GPUUploadHeaps parameter to off in the configuration file, and set the rBar - Feature parameter to on in the Nvidia Profile Inspector? For example, you can look at the Starfield profile in Nvidia Profile Inspector, as done by default for it)

@@TechGuides I recently reviewed a recorded gameplay video on Scud, where I played with low shader quality in the past. Surprisingly, the visuals back then looked significantly better-there was no "plastic" effect on textures. I think the warzone integration is the cause of the quality loss.

No clue how or why your DLSS, FSR, NIS etc upscalers to "don't improve performance" but rest assured they do same as always, unless you are running these tests while fully CPU capped.
A VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT TIP FOR YOU. THE REAL REASON OF LOW GPU USEAGE IN WZ, SPECIALLY IN URZIKISTAN IS THE VOICE CHAT MODE. TRY SETTING IT TO PARTY ONLY(AS SETTING IT TO ALL LOBBY CREATES A HUGE BOTTLENECK NO MATTER WHAT CPU YOU USE) AND SEE THE DIFFERENCE. WZ IS AN OPTIMIZATION DISASTER NOW.
I dont know frankly but I would not trust the AMD results too much. There was just so much fluctuation to make the testing extremely difficult... So realistically perf was just randomly better with it enabled

Thats odd can you share a screenshot of your players folders?
No clue how or why your DLSS, FSR, NIS etc upscalers to "don't improve performance" but rest assured they do same as always, unless you are running these tests while fully CPU capped.
Hags whats is it?
Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling. Accessible when searching for "graphics settings" in Windows
Am I supposed to have amd frame generation set to true?
Generally, no. Frame generation adds fake frames to improve smoothness but it actually increases input delay
Correct, don't use frame gen!
Тhank you bro :) ! I am with 7800x3d and 6950xt i activated Resize Bar now i have normal FPS ,but i have again a little bit stutering.
Is it FPS stutters or server lag though?
Ppl report that sam on gives more fps but results in stuttering in warzone
Voice chat only affects the steam version. I'm on battle.net and I've had voice chat disabled for all these tests ;)
THANKS MAN
Wow... Okay@@TechGuides
Someone can explain me what is hags?
Dlss works for me
Why does "Static Reflections: High" give more fps for AMD system? at 13:44
I dont know frankly but I would not trust the AMD results too much. There was just so much fluctuation to make the testing extremely difficult... So realistically perf was just randomly better with it enabled
I got i9 13th gen and rtx 4070 and I only get around 100-120 fps? This cannot be right? I should have more fps right?
I have same gpu and a i5-14600k. I did all the settings he did in the video and i get 120-140 fps.
@ change voice chat to party voice and not all! Gave me 30-50 fps more
