Didn’t work :/ there is nothing wrong on my WiFi end, all of my other devices work perfect. Connection is strong. It’s just the switch that has issues

@@drgeo2643 So it has something to do with my wifi service( I have xfinity btw). So every time I use switch online the switch has to be connected to my phones hot spot instead bc that’s what works in my case. Try connecting to a hotspot

@@pinkmoonbaby best way to do it is to tell your internet provider to change the NAT type for you, changing it manually can be dangerous. after changing your nat type do a power cycle (turn off modem 1-2 minutes and turn back on) then you should be good!

Well none of those worked. In fact the dns one made my connection worse since when I tried to access mariokart 8 deluxe online mode it now doesn't even let me reach the character select and kart builder options before telling me I can't connect to other consoles

@@collins101back The only thing that seems to work is switch our houses second wifi. EE should faster since it's a sim card router but for whatever reason it only seems to connect using the slower sky router which runs off of a phone line instead unlike most cable modems(Turns out our street has terrible options cable broadband providers).

@@xaolancp6334 In my case my wifi booster was the problem. check your router settings and make sure all the settings are correct. also make sure to not use dns that might screw uo your connection. either way most probably due to something your wifi is encoded in a way the switch cant handle that well
