I think the best Eagles team not to win the Super Bowl was a team that didn't even make the playoffs: the 1991 team. Randall Cunningham was coming off his best season in 1990 and expectations were through the roof, but he went down in Week 1. The Eagles went through that season with like four different QBs and rode one of the best defenses of all time (5 All Pros) to a 10-6 record and missed the playoffs. I've always thought if Cunningham had not gotten hurt they would've been unstoppable. Because they didn't make the playoffs hardly anyone remembers. The D-line had Reggie White, Jerome Brown, and Clyde Simmons at the peaks of their careers. That team would make a fascinating subject for one of your videos.
You are CORRECT. The 1991 Philadelphia Eagles had the greatest defense; statistically, of all time. They lost Cunningham, and were backed up by three of the worst qbs I have ever seen... we still finished 10 - 6. Great freaking video man! I recommend doing one on the 1991 Philadelphia Eagles Defense. Statistically they may be the best of modern defense. A really fascinating team.
That game broke my heart I remember I was 5 years old and I went to bed crying that night. But that doesn’t haunt me anymore we finally got our team and we’re on our way to becoming a dynasty #FlyEaglesFly
You right man, that team should've won. That team had that monster defense in prime form with Dawkins, Trotter, Sheppard, Sheldon Brown, Kearse, etc. If McNabb and Owens could've kept their egos in check that team could've continued to be great. Both were dumb AF for letting that whole situation get out of hand, but I think it had more to do with McNabb having to share the spotlight.
From a guy who remembers crying after the Bucs game at 9 years old, this video was amazing! Keep up the great work! Ps: No. I am not crying right because of the ending leave me alone!
As an Eagles fan this year was magical, however, I'll never not be pissed off at the team just standing around and taking their time with under 3 minutes left in the game while being down by 2 scores in Super Bowl 39. You can bring up spygate all you want but it was crap like that that cost the Eagles this game. Andy Reid and his notoriously bad clock management skills kill them in the biggest moment.
Too bad McNabb was drunk and throwing up in the sb. Only seems fit tho since they beat the Eagles to start their dynasty and now the Eagles just ended it. It's fitting
They beat the Eagles to cement their dynasty (some would say it was their first dynasty; some would call it the dynasty that extended all the way to today), not start it.
ZhangK71 same thing you know what I meant they weren't called a dynasty until they beat the Eagles. So why are you debating my comment to say the same thing? Lol
Irene Williams Well... you don’t say “Rome started its empire only when it conquered [a certain number of kingdoms]”. You say it started an empire when it actually STARTED an empire, even if, technically, yes it wasn’t yet an empire at the start. So “starting a dynasty” and “cementing a dynasty” are two completely different things. And it’s the second one that’s right.
Irene Williams The current Patriots run of brilliance has already lost a Super Bowl before - back in 2007 AND 2011. But did you say their dynasty ended then? If so, how did you feel about the two more they won afterwards? What about all the conference championships they lost? Or the fact that they didn’t even make the playoffs in 2002? Did that break the “one-championship” dynasty that they had in 2001? Does that mean 2001, 2003, 2004 is actually just 2003, 2004?
Yeah man, this team was the one I grew up watching, I'll never forget I was like 12 years old and we beat the 13-3 Bears in Chicago to go-to the NFC championship against the Rams. It was always fun to be an Eagles fan, especially growing up in Philly. I feel I was kind of spoiled because my first real years understanding the game as a true fan, I got to see the Eagles be amazing and go-to The NFC championship 2001,2002,2003, and finally a Superbowl 2004 and then another NFC championship 2008. But man does it feel great to finally finish everything, and we did it against three amazing teams as underdogs, Falcons then Vikings and then To top it off the Patriots.
ps3 illuminati not fully true. We didn't force any turnovers and still only lost by 3 McNabb threw three picks, one in the rezone. And he threw up on the field - _-
ps3 illuminati that's not the point.... Three picks bro. Brady had 500 passing yards this year and we still won. Why? Cause Foles didn't throw THREE FUCKING PICKS AND PUKE ON THE FIELD
ps3 illuminati all I'm saying is that if you look back historically. That's the patriots lowest scoring victory in the super bowl. I'm pretty sure. You can't stop Brady, but our defense slowed him down and we only lost by thrre points.... And McNabb THREW A PICK IN THE RED ZONE. We had David Akers, essentially three points guaranteed. But McNabb threw it away
Nitro Gaming Some of you are dumb Eagle fans that blame McNabb too damn much first of all you're not going to win a Super Bowl when your quarterback throws 50+ times the eagles only had 48 yards rushing that's typical Andy Reid play calling. How about Jim Johnson and the defense not covering Mike Vrabel on that touchdown when he did it the year before against the Panthers and a couple of times that season. How about the defense in the second half making Deion Branch look like Jerry Rice 11 catches for 180 really and you want to put it all on McNabb go fuck yourself.
MICOLE WHYTE I am not putting all the name on McNabb... No shit the okay calling was horrible. Especially having such a great running back, such as Westbrook. But three picks. Including one in the rezone, which would have tied the game (retrospectively) if we had just gotten the field goal. But putting blame on the defense instead of the offense is nonsense. Especially when the qb gives the opposing team 3 extra possessions.... The team was still better than the patriots on the whole. They just had injuries, bad play calling, the flu, etc etc...
I like how they brought up the Carolina game by saying “they played in Philadelphia and beat them in the regular season” same thing with the bucs the year before. Ungh this was both an amazing and tough time to be an Eagles fan
bro when you lose to the patriots in the superbowl by a field goal, then it kind of matters! oh well, champs now anyways. beat the cheating robot franchise.
That 2004 team was the most talented football team in Philadelphia Eagles history. They had the offense, they had the secondary, the linebackers, the pass rush, even a pro bowl caliber kicker. The issue with that team, they were filled with too many personalities that were not team players at the end of the day. Thank you for putting that video of Nick "Wrong" on there, I have no idea how that dude has a job.
KTO I'm sorry but the 2017 team was the team that should've and did win the Superbowl, There's more talent on the 2017 team than there ever was on the 04 team.
Can’t forget about other guys during the early 2000s like Bobby Taylor, Troy Vincent, Corey Simon, Jon Runyon, Duce Staley, James Thrash, David Akers etc.
The 04 eagles dont stand a chance against today's Eagles. Not just because the today's Eagles just won the super bowl but because we're better at every position besides safety (Brian Dawkins) when healthy.
I became an Eagles fan in 2003 when I was 15 years old. That's when I first started watching football. I'm glad we finally got our Superbowl win and beat the Patriots in our second matchup.
The Guy with a ugly face in FIFA Mobile to me 04 was still the better team 9 pro bowlers on D and Mcnabb and tO and Westbrook and the o line with Thomas and Runyan plus pinkston Mitchell and Lewis

0:17 I don't think we'll ever see Bill Belichick that happy again.
love your videos as always. will you ever do one on Doug Pederson?
Dougie Cajoenes needs a damn hour long documentary for how unprecedented his career has been.
Alex Rumor has it that he needs a wheel barrell as well.
Alex lol
Fun Fact he was the QB for the Browns
Dude, your endings and exit song IS. THE. BOMB!!!!!!!! You should be on TV.
should make a video why the bills lost all 4 Straight Super bowls
It's amazing that they got there 4 times in a row, but just getting there doesn't mean anything unless it's your first time there.
From a guy who remembers crying after the Bucs game at 9 years old, this video was amazing! Keep up the great work!
Ps: No. I am not crying right because of the ending leave me alone!
Donovan McNabb was amazing!!
Lol
ZhangK71 extended uh no not possible if they just lost.
I wonder what the outcome would’ve been if the Pats had Cook, Edelman, and Butler in the game 🤔
T.O is my favorite WR ever. He's a freak of nature
I loved watching Brian Dawkins play..what a beast
That ending tho
Vick, DJax, Little Mac, Celek, Shady McCoy; HC: Andy Reid.
THAT team was fast af; and should've went deep into the playoffs.
do a video on the 1982 mvp who was kicker
The 02-05 eagles are the reason why I fell in love with the eagles happy we’re Super Bowl champions, wish Dawkins and them boys could’ve got one!
Great Ending!! 💯🏆
This eagles team truly was destined to be champions. They truly were the better team.... McNabb choked :/
ps3 illuminati not fully true.
I love how you utilize the audio/instrumentals within your videos.
I really enjoyed the end of this vid making Nick Wright look like a fool!
I like how they brought up the Carolina game by saying “they played in Philadelphia and beat them in the regular season” same thing with the bucs the year before. Ungh this was both an amazing and tough time to be an Eagles fan

Dom Opens Cards excuses
Billy Bob nigga even the defensive coordinator said the patriots knew the defensive calls
bro when you lose to the patriots in the superbowl by a field goal, then it kind of matters! oh well, champs now anyways. beat the cheating robot franchise.
This time around they were careful and made sure to run fake practice runs (just in case). It worked.
Dom Opens Cards
That 2004 team was the most talented football team in Philadelphia Eagles history. They had the offense, they had the secondary, the linebackers, the pass rush, even a pro bowl caliber kicker.
The issue with that team, they were filled with too many personalities that were not team players at the end of the day.
Thank you for putting that video of Nick "Wrong" on there, I have no idea how that dude has a job.
the 2017 eagles got their revenge for that super bowl
Brian Dawkins, Troy Polumalu, and Ed Reed where the best safeties of the 2000’$💯
KTO I'm sorry but the 2017 team was the team that should've and did win the Superbowl, There's more talent on the 2017 team than there ever was on the 04 team.
Joe McNulty yeah besides TO the 04 team's receiving Corps was really crappy.
As a life long eagles fan, lay off the drugs,
As a life long Eagles fan thank you for this. People never understood why I was so negative this season. We are used to heartbreak
Thank got u uploaded a video I have had to watch the far inferior TPS channel
Jacob Guy tps is awesome
1 of the 3 is Skip Bayless 2.
The other 2 are fun, but it's not as good as you might think.
I swear lol
As a lifelong eagles fan that interception still to this day stings. But at least everything eventually worked out. Great vid as always KTO.
What Ever Happened to Cecil Shorts III?
Sports & Songs what did happen hit up flemo raps
I think he's a 3rd string WR
I became an Eagles fan in 2003 when I was 15 years old. That's when I first started watching football. I'm glad we finally got our Superbowl win and beat the Patriots in our second matchup.
What do you think was the better team, the Eagles from the past or Eagles from now?
The Guy with a ugly face in FIFA Mobile to me 04 was still the better team 9 pro bowlers on D and Mcnabb and tO and Westbrook and the o line with Thomas and Runyan plus pinkston Mitchell and Lewis
We had a better D then.. We have a better O now
McNabb & Andy were this teams biggest strengths, and ultimately the biggest weaknesses.
5:46 what's the song?
Oooh - Fasion
The way u introduced my boy TO tho🔥🔥🔥🔥
Congrats to the Eagles tho. They sent the Patriots back to the British.
