Looks like a great beginner project. Can’t wait to try it!
How do you do the straps?
As a beginner doing felt projects i truly appreciate this tutorial :-) Thank you so much!! A few questions though, how much soap do you mix with the water? Can you use dish soap? And how long do you let it soak in the hot water at the end before drying it? And do you put it over a large bottle or etc to let air get to it from all sides?
Just make a soap solution with a soap bar. the temperature of the water must be hot. You can use dish soap, but to protect your skin I use purely shea butter soap. A few minutes will do. Please share your project, I'm interested.
Thank you for watching, donato.
Donato Van de Moortele thank you for your quick response 😄 shea butter makes sense and yes i will try to be brave enough to share my project! 😄 lol
This is a great video. Can you pls advise how I can do a seamless small ottoman cover? Thanks
Maybe you can use a carboardbox as template, . Thank you for the support.
Easy tutorial
+Savi Pramod, thank you for the remark....
Hi. I see you have used actual soap shavings and put that in hot water. I’ve started wet felting over the past week and I’m struggling a bit with getting layers to blend together. Does the temperature of the water and type of soap you use for this affect the felting process much? I’ve been using cool water and dish soap.
The water needs to be hot! :) (of course not enough to burn you)
@@YunaElphabaLovegood that explains it. I was using cold water.
@@nooneanonymous3340 Hey, we are all learning. Good luck with your projects!
How would you finish the mouth of the purse and the handle?
+Jeanine Bradfield the mouth with the banquet stitch (festonsteek). And the handle two strings of felt. I hope you are something with this information. New work will follow.
Lovely little bag! Just a little tip - sheeps wool is called fleece, not flake.
They did not say that sheeps wool was called flake. They were describing a thin layer piece of wool as a "flake" which I think is very appropriate.
Thanks for the video, but you don't explain a few things. First off is the direction of the wool important? It looked like you were laying it out horizontally (in reference to where you sat) first, and also do you want the wool to stick out beyond the edges of your template since you need the bag to have firm sides?
He showed how he layered the fleece with bits of fleece placed over the edge of the cardboard, then he turned it over and folded those bits in just like you'd tuck a blanket around a mattress. Watch it again and see what you missed!
🥰👏🥰👏🥰🙋♀️
I have a question So you basically alternate between horizontal and vertical layers and I'll be good? Right? Thanks!
Yes, that is correct. Thank you for the support.
No music in future, thanks.

It's not fulled! Not enough.
