I have your book, "Complete Feltmaking" - so cool. I haven't made anything from it yet but have a few pages marked. I've just been needle felting and also I did make a wet felted eye glass case. I use those cheap plastic cutting boards for a resist.
Excellent! Thank you so much :-)
Bag is beautiful. Thx for vid.
I'm a new subbie.

Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for this great tutorial!
That was a SUPER tutorial! And I love your video intros. Thanks
Really enjoyed this informative video- music n'all! :-)
Very clear instruction, no waffle, beautifully shot.
Thanks so much for your kind words! x
Fabulous and informative- as everyone has said, the music is incredibly distracting.
This was a wonderful tutorial! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I look forward to learning more from you.
Great project and awesome tutorial. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow and the end product looks amazing I can't wait to try this.
Love the tutorial but, Gillian, the music is driving me mad
Brilliant Gillian!! Thank you♥️
You're welcome! x
Unfortunately, the background music competed with your voice. It was difficult to hear you. Even so, I found the tutorial a fascinating process. Thank you!
Hi Gillian, I am definitely a fan of your work! Thank you for sharing!
Hi - so sorry for the late reply - I've only just gotten around to looking at all the comments on here!! Thanks so much!!
Thank you! You're welcome :-)
Hi Gillian. Just come across this helpful video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us all. Hope that youre keeping well.
Hello everyone that's been watching my videos and thanks for watching and commenting.
I think we've all established that the music is slightly too loud and a little distracting. I mentioned this to the people that edited them and we all thought it had been taken down sufficiently - but obviously not!
However please all note that these videos cost me a lot of money to make, and that they are on here FREE for you to watch and to support people that want to learn how to felt and make our kits. Unfortunately I can't afford to re-edit the videos with a different sound levels, so I'm afraid it is what it is!
So, I really do love to hear from you all and really appreciate your positive comments, but I would also like it if people stopped jumping on the bandwagon and complaining about the music too! I think we've established that there's an issue and it's quite depressing and upsetting when all I read is negative stuff.
Thanks for your understanding and happy Felting! Gillian x :-)
Gilliangladrag Ltd Yes these videos are free to watch but mentioning that you pay a lot of money to get them produced is rude. Negative feedback? Stating an opinion negative or positive is constructive criticism and was ment, in this case, as a way of helping you to improve upon the quality of your videos. You said all you read is negative comments. There are more positive comments for this video than negative comments. Turn off the comments for your videos if you can't handle constructive criticism.
Hi Gillian, Thank you so much for making this awesome video. I‘ve learned a lot techniques from you, hoping to visit your store sometime in the future, too! Keep up the great work! I thank you from bottom of my 💖!
If you dont want critique then turn off the awful music in the future and can the editors you used in this one! They (and you) should have reviewed the videos and seen (heard) the music was bad before it was ever posted.
If we cant get through the video because of irritating music, then you got ripped off.
The tutorials are good. Too bad the music is irritating.
Good luck in the future!
Thank you for this really lovely video. I enjoyed watching it sooo much. Don’t understand why it finished so quickly though. 🤣😂 Must have been enjoying it too much. 🤭
You’re welcome 😊 Thanks so much! x
Very informative and helpful. Thank you. But maybe lose the music - it's quite irritating and distracting. X
Great video as usual. So glad you decided to get rid of the background music - very distracting - and my husband kept saying things like, "Is that the Guns of Navarone?" Doh
Awesome video! Great music... kinda gypsy-esque and whimsical just like your adorable shop! I look forward to my subscription to your channel and trying out some wet felting!
loved your videos, so helpful but the music is so loud and a bit annoying
Un trabajo muy bonito el que haces
Very nice bag and very nice Gillian/
Hi - so sorry for the late reply - I've only just gotten around to looking at all the comments on here!! Thanks so much! :-)
yes your I love your video but the music drive me crazy
Gorgeous bag!! I was confused why you did two colours and then "magic" when you cut it open. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thank you! 😊
That was awesome!
Thanks, very helpful tutorial (and I actually enjoyed the music). Guess I'm more of a visual learner than auditory.
Hi - so sorry for the late reply - I've only just gotten around to looking at all the comments on here!! Thanks so much! :-)
Thats so wonderful wish we had one in USA
lovely bags... music detracts from voice, straining to make out some words, great tutorial tho'
I would love to be able to watch this, but the incessant music makes it impossible.
Hope you don't mind me saying - I LOVE the tutorial but really don't like the rinky dinky music. I notice from your facebook page that you will be doing a slipper making online course which i would like to do. Will it have music??
Hi Gillian love your videos. Thank you, they are so informative. If you could help I would be most grateful with this question - when finishing the top of the bag after trimming, as I was gently rubbing the edge, it started fluting. What am I doing wrong?
Hi - sorry for the late reply! I only just got around to reading all the comments on here! So basically you just need to use more soap - keep it really soapy whilst you're rubbing!! :-)
I STARTED HERE LOOKING AT THE TUTORIAL AND THAT CRAZY MUSIC MADE ME TO OPEN A BOTTLE OF VODKA, NOW IAM DRUNK, NO BAG AND COOKING A ROSTED PORK.! IAM DECLARED INSANE BY THE GOVERNMENT.
Hello maam, am from india... I want to learn of making felt accessories... kindly suggest which felt is best for wet felting.... And how can i get these felt material in India?
I looked at your shop but didn't see the bag kits. Do you not sell those anymore? If not, how can I get the molds for the bags?
does it have to be 100% wool for wet felting?
Yes
Great video! I've been wanting to make a pouch bag (sort of like a medicine bag)...If I wanted to make a seamless bag with a flap, what would I do differently?
Hi - so sorry for the late reply - I've only just gotten around to looking at all the comments on here!! So for a flap you'd just make your template slightly longer - and then cut away the other side of the "flap". Hope that makes sense!
Lovely
Hi....where did you get your wide mat to roll your bag in?? Wonderful explanation!!
Hi - so sorry for the late reply - I've only just gotten around to looking at all the comments on here!!
Yes we sell the mats on our website www.gilliangladrag.co.uk and we ship them worldwide. Thanks. :-)
Hi Gillian, thankyou for your fun and informative tutorial! I tried this method using your wool and a template I fashioned from the resist material from your shop. When I first rinsed the bag in luke warm water, the template buckled all over the place, so that when I rolled the bag out, it became unevenly shaped. Any ideas what I did wrong?
Hi - the template will buckle that is usual - but you should make sure the bag has been rubbed sufficiently before rinsing, - so it doesn't matter if the template moves a lot! I hope that helps! :-) Thanks x
where can I buy this large amount of wool?
Thanks for the tutorial, but what does it feel like when the wool is completely felted? What should I expect from the final texture?
It is harder and rougher and more robust.
i have one question, a purse like this or any other felt stuff is washable or not?

You can only handwash very gently in lukewarm water - you can never ever put anything like this in a washing machine. It would need to be treated like a delicate handwash jumper! Hope that's helpful :-)
Your music is a bit loud. I love what you are doing
The music is distracting. Can't turn the sound down because I want to hear what you are saying.
really like your video but the music playing meant that I couldn't hear what you were saying.
What do you use for the template?
Great video but the music is too loud.
Love the tutorial but the music is distracting
How much is the book link please
all nice but the music is driving me crazy!
Help
I wish the music wasn't throughout. Can't watch. 😢
The music killed the fun
Great video. But the music though... Not really, it's distracting. ☺️
Noted! This is a very old video. A lot of my later stuff is music free. Thanks
Hard no. We ARE complex and that is precisely why we must treat ourselves and others delicately. Complex isnt a gateway to psychologically unsound practice of "open"
"Close" that book 😂
the music is too loud and distracts the viewer from everything you say and do
The music is very distraction
Please don't play music in the background. It's annoying and detracts from what you're saying. Thanks
The background music is extremely annoying as it covers up your voice.
Unwatchable with the music
Great tutorial. Awful, annoying music!!
Kill the music...ughhhh!
The music is very annoying
The music was absolutely horrible
Please stop with the music!
Omg, that awful music! You don’t need it!
You are very very rude. These videos are FREE. If you don't want to watch them - then don't! I cannot change the music.
