Wonderful flowers. I purchased your book. LOL! We had a cat that would ring the bell to go out. She rang that so many times, we decided to put the bell outside, so she could ring in! 🤣

Hello. Your room looks fantastic. I have some felt/wool sitting in a container. This will give me an opportunity to finally get it out and make something. How fun!! Thank you. Stay safe and be well.

depends what kind of felting do you want to do and what for....for cloth you want a stronger wool, like Shetland (20-21 micron) for example, for more delicate items, you want merino (19 micron), is all about the mic...the lower the micron the softer. for wet felting you can opt to do wet felting (just wool) or d nuno felting, ifor nuno felting you add fabric to it, it needs to be an open fabric so the fiber (wool) can travel through the fabric, a way to know if your fabric is good, hold it in your hand and blow, if you feel that air go through the other side, that is good, when you add fabric to the process you will have stronger piece, when you done, there are more chances that your wool stretches' over time with the use. Needle felting produces strong piece, that depends how far you needle felt your piece, the more you work it, the hardest it becomes. Also, with needle felting you have more control than with wet/nuno felting. I say all from my experience in working with wool, I am not a professional, I do it for recreation and because i own sheep myself, please, anyone, feel free to correct me if I am wrong, these comments are based on my personal experience. I hope it helps. As far as where to buy wool, I believe Ms Gillan sells it, you can also check ebay, if you find it local, you will save a lot on postage. Good luck!
