Those high notes were hit with what looked and sounded like ease. Most vocalists tend to drop it down a note or two when covering tricky songs.

Nope. pellek's head voice range is enough to hit all the notes in take on me. he doesn't use falsetto for them. mostly head and mixed voice in few places
I've heard the head voice is also based on falsetto and it feels similar but different position

Morten's vocals for the original A-HA track were truly, I dont think you could quite hit the same highs as him pelleK but i still think you did an amazing job. you must of been practising a while trying to hit those high notes :)

ok...let's think about this for a moment shall we....I love A-Ha...and this wasn't my fav song by them..but a good song none the less...but you comparing the two doesn't work...first of all Morten goes into falsetto when he hits the high notes...hopefully you know what that is if you're going to compare the two....second...this is a METAL version...Pellek didn't go into falsetto once....are you frickin' kidding me...it was awesome...period....both have their own edge in their own way...but vocal wise hitting the high notes that he does with as much strength as he gives....*blink blink*....and I actually find it a bit offensive that you would make the comment about him having to practice to hit the high notes...again...read from the beginning...you can't come close to comparing the two....good job Pellek..I enjoyed the version very much
