    Homemade sausages | No Cling Film or Plastic Wrap required! | Simple | GF | Vegan
    Makes 12 medium sized sausages
    Ingredients:
    200g cooked chickpeas
    60g rolled oats GF If required
    4 tbsps cornflour
    40g soya chunks/TVP
    2 tbsps tomato sauce
    3 tbsps nutritional yeast flakes
    1 tbsp soy sauce/tamari (GF)
    2 tsps salt
    2 tsps garlic granules
    2 tsps oregano
    1/4 tsp thyme
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    1/4 tsp dried rosemary
    1/2 tsp ground black pepper
    Note…
    If you need them to be GF, make sure you check that the ingredients you use are definitely GF. Soy sauce is generally NOT GF, but Tamari is normally GF. The garlic granules we use are GF, but just check the ones you use.
    Enjoy! 😋🌱💚🏞✨

    I don’t understand why this video doesn’t have thousands of views!! What a great recipe! Thank you for making something that’s both vegan and gf. I will make this, but I’ll probably add more spices and replace garlic flakes with fresh garlic for a more intense flavor. Keep up the good work!

      Thank you so much for your support and kind words folks, we would love to hear/see how your versions turn out😊🙏😋🌱🌭
      The reason for the low number of views and subscribers we have is very complicated. We saw a video by @leadfarmer73 the other day and he was saying that it took him so long to get 250k subscribers because the RUclips algorithm literally unsubscribes people from peoples RUclips channels. We can verify that this happens as we’ve been noticing that every time we upload a video, between 10 and 100 subscribers mysteriously unsubscribe! We get quite a few new subscribers every day, but due to the people that are unsubscribed, our subscriber number stays pretty much the same all the time. We also found out that you can buy RUclips channels with people pre-subscribed and millions of claimed views!!! If this kind of service is available, then just imagine the things that could possibly be done😳. RUclips is pretty corrupted and people don’t get recognition without paying for the use of the platform. So, please let everyone you know about what goes on and don’t forget to check to see if you’ve been unsubscribed from any of your subscriptions. Thanks again guys for your amazing support💚looking forward to help create a free and loving world with all of you wonderful people💚✨🏞🙏

      @MM-qk8eg 2 года назад +4

      @@tastyveganbites funny you should mention that as I actually wrote an essay about RUclips algorithm as a project for my AI class focused on the dark side of the AI! And I couldn’t agree with you more. RUclips is not only corrupt, but its algorithm is easy to trick by corrupt people! The ones who are profiting the most from RUclips (aside Google and advertisers) are content farms creating useless, repetitive, misleading, and dangerous content and numbing the brains of our children. However, if you collaborate with other channels and mention each other, it will help both of you in the algorithm.

    • @tastyveganbites

      @@MM-qk8eg that’s some very useful advice and it’s definitely what we should be doing, thanks to people like you and all of the people who are working hard to stick together, this corruption will be exposed, this is the link to the video by @leadfarmer73 He says pretty much exactly what you just intelligently outlined and promotes that we all need to stick together and support each other… ruclips.net/video/XhTQkg9nhXE/видео.html
      Thank you 🙏 & We hope you have a great weekend. 💚🙏🍀✨

      Perhaps it’s because a lot of us know that SOY is SUPER UNHEALTHY, particularly for women and those that have a family history of cancer. Funny how many complain of the cheap add of soy in burger meat yet run to it when they opt to go vegan/vegetarian - make it make sense 🧐😭

    Amazing! Wanted to make veggie hot dogs for dinner, but didn’t have any sausages in the freezer. Was disheartened to see lots of recipes called for cling film (which I haven’t brought or needed in around 8 years!) so was super happy to find this recipe… I happen to have all the ingredients for these in my cupboards too, which is a massive bonus! Can’t wait to try them out - thanks for sharing 👏 hopefully they’re a winner, because I’ll batch prep them for the freezer if so 🤞

Most likely we'll try wheat flour tonight. Whoever wants to switch TVP, try wheat gluten flour or textured pea or other proteins.

    The recipe calls for soy sauce or tamari. I recommend "sanj" brand soy sauce. I do not work for them, and you can use any brand of soy sauce that you like, but I think that SanJ tastes better than Kikkoman. I have tried both in a different non-sausage related recipe.

      @@IndiaLetsLearnEnglish My best mix for 1 cup of soaked red lentils is level 1 tablespoon of ground nutmeg, half a tablespoon of ground mace and 1 tablespoon of ground white pepper. I also add dried marjoram herbs but you can use dried oregano too, about 1 tablespoon. I wrap them in cling film into sausage shapes and cook them in warm not boiling water for about 45 minutes. The rest is just oat flour and semolina and some soya milk or cooking water from beans I cook.

    Hey guys, your new recipes look great! Is the tomato sauce ketchup? And gluten free rolled oats are just as versatile as regular rolled oats and I assume they sell them everywhere these days. Gonna have a go at these babies xxx

    • @tastyveganbites
      @tastyveganbites  2 года назад +7

      Hello Nik! Thank you for checking out our new stuff🙏. The (homemade)tomato sauce in the sausage recipe is NOT ketchup, but the sauce on top of the sausages at the start/end of the video is ketchup! The same tomato sauce in the no-meatball recipe is homemade tomate frito (slow cooked in a large casserole with a small amount of oil). We have two professional organic tomato growers in the family, each with about two hectares of tomato plants!! The time came to change to another variety of tomatoes so they invited us to come and pick as many tomatoes as we could manage (they were all destined for the tomato bin!). We picked well over 400kg of tomatoes 🍅. We then spent the best part of an entire week cooking the tomatoes to store them in jars as tomato sauce (tomate frito, not like ketchup). We have over 60 large litre bottles of tomato stored in jars, which we use for all sorts of recipes/snacks. You can buy this tomato sauce in Lidl from time to time when they have their Spanish week.
      If you can’t get hold of the sauce or enough tomatoes to make it, you can use tinned toms, they just need a bit of cooking to reduce the water content. Certified GF oats are of course great to use if you do have any problems with wheat gluten, but regular rolled oats are just as good if you don’t have any problems. They just might be grown near a field of regular wheat and therefore suffer from cross contamination, making them unsuitable for coeliacs especially. We’d love to hear how those sausages turn out when you make them. Lots of love. Xxxx🙏💚😋✨🌱🌭

      Yes, absolutely. We freeze large batches on trays. You can cook from frozen, in the oven or in a frying pan on a low heat as long as you keep a good eye on them, making sure they don’t get cooked too quickly, leaving the centre still uncooked. Otherwise, defrost in the fridge and cook as normal🙏❤️

    When you put in the cumin, i have to tell you it's not vegan

    • @tastyveganbites
      @tastyveganbites  Месяц назад +1

      Cumin is essentially composed of the dried seeds of the Cuminum cyminum plant. These seeds are harvested, dried, and then ground into a fine powder. It does not contain any animal-derived ingredients, such as meat, dairy, or eggs. As such, cumin is generally considered vegan-friendly by most standards.
      If you’re making this recipe and your cumin isn’t vegan for whatever reason, then simply leave that ingredient out. If you’ve ever grown cumin as we have, you’ll know that the spice is a seed from a plant, with numerous health benefits🙏💚🌱😋

    I was super excited until I peeped the use of soy. Soy is NOT healthy, especially for families with any cancer traits in particular breast cancer. Perhaps in moderation, this maybe ok. For me, I rather skip the potential cancer inflammatory agent of soy products.

      The latest research on soy is that it is protective against cancer.

    • @tastyveganbites
      @tastyveganbites  7 месяцев назад +3

      It’s definitely not for everyone. If you do use soy, try to get organic soy. Most non organic soy has been hugely manipulated and it’s very sad(that’s mainly because of the huge amount of gmo soy crops that are grown to feed the animals that people eat).
      Soy is actually not unhealthy, all you need to do is look at the China study to figure out just how beneficial it can be for our health, but not all soy is equal. 🙏😋🥰❤️🌱💚
