Congratulations on all your successes!!! You enjoyed your holiday foods. This is not a diet, but a lifestyle journey and enjoying the ride along the way. You’re doing a great, great job. Please be patient with your Zepbound journey. Anecdotally, people say that it takes about 6-8 weeks for the medicine to get into your system and you feel the impacts. The Zep is zeppin’, but it takes time for sure. I’m glad you’re tracking and keeping up with all that’s happening.
@@Dariam_M71 thanks so much. Yes, that’s why I asked for another box of 7.5 mg. I picked it up today. That will give me 8 weeks. My appointment is next week. I’m sure my doctor will increase it to 10 mg.
@TracesofTwaunsLife smart move Twaun ❤❤ I would also like to offer that if your 7.5MG is working, stay on it until it's not. I found that many titrated up too fast and then was left with no place else to go. My GLP-1 sisters and I learned from others and we ride the doses out until they become ineffective be it 2, 3, 4 months or longer on each dose. Either way, you are doing great and keep listening to your body ❤❤
I'm so glad you're getting positive results from Zepboud, and it's great you are working out. I fell off from going to the gym because I got so overwhelmed with stuff I had to do before the end of the year, so I have to get back on track. Great video! ❤❤

Heyyyyyyy Queen! 🤗 Girl, I made a carrot cake and just had a BIG slice! Somebody needs to come and get this cake 😅 That was awesome regarding your coworker. : 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽on the weight loss! Tassss! ❤🤗🙏🏾
Hey Twaun… Happy Holidays to y’all. 👋🏼 And congrats on the continued weight loss. 8.6 lbs in 3 weeks is SOMETHIN’. Especially considering you lost 100+ lbs already! 😯 Even 1.6 lbs the last week is good… usually the weight loss slows down much more than that this far along. But if you really are feelin’ significant food noise the last couple of days of the shot week, then you may be a bit underdosed. Not that you should feel absolutely ZERO hunger on a GLP-1…. but you can kinda tell when a little bit more suppression makes sense. The 7.5 did its job, it got you through the transition with no big side effects (and still losing a good amount of weight). So, as long as the side effects remain fine, you can start thinkin’ about ‘when to ten’. Maybe not right this hot second, but you can be lookin’, sure. 🤔 Your doc’s gotta be on board, but considering she wanted to start on 12.5, prolly not an issue. Best of luck in the new year. Gotta feelin’ 2025 is gonna be real good for a lot of us. 🌟 😊
Now this is the comment I’ve been waiting on. 🤗🤣😂♥️. I picked up my second box of 7.5 today. My appointment is next week. I’m sure she will request 10 mg at the time. I still have cravings and food noise so I’m ok with moving on up. I think 7.5 for 8 weeks is good enough to get my body adjusted. What do you think? How long were you on 7.5? How long are most people on 7.5?
Well I can tell ya Twaun, but I don’t know if the info helps much. 🤔 Because I’m not you, and other ppl are not you. It’s all very individual and situational. That said, they did do a study on how fast ppl tend to titrate up. ⬆️ By Month 5, 54 percent of ppl were still on either 2.5 or 5 (mostly 5). 5 was the most popular dose at Month 5, followed by 7.5… and with 4 chances to titrate up, about 60 percent of ppl had titrated up either once or twice. That’s not very fast. 🤔 Also, mathin’ the math, only about 10-20 percent of ppl seemed to be titrating up every 4 weeks. For myself, I was on 7.5 for 4 months, and if I had to do it over again, I would’ve done 3 months. And I woulda done most all the doses for 2-3 months each. But again, everyone’s different, and I’m not you. 🤷🏼♂️ What I think you can go by is how you FEEL. The scale? Not so much, not by itself, ‘cuz the scale can fake you out, in the short term. One not so good week can panic ppl into titrating up. 😱 But, one week doesn’t mean anything. Especially if that week was Thanksgiving or Christmas, with real good food flying at you from all angles. 😳 (And that 1.6 lbs down ain’t bad at all - it’s actually pretty good.) But it’s more like a MONTH means something, if you get me. So that, and how you FEEL. Is the suppression pretty much GONE by Days 5, 6 and 7 after a shot? CONSISTENTLY? And even with you eating right, getting all your protein and fiber in? Again… consistently? If so, then yeah, you might be underdosed. And ‘When To Ten’ then starts to be a thing… assuming your side effects have been low. It’s obviously a doctor’s conversation, but that’s how I think about it going into a visit with them. YMMV. 🧑⚕️ Best o’ luck, Twaun. Not that ya need it. 👋🏼

Great job. You did awesome on your first box. Do you go to Medical Weight loss? I’m asking because I love their shakes but I can’t purchase them anymore since I’m no longer a member. I even tried to find them on Amazon but no luck.
Just a question. Sugar intake has a critical impact on weight loss and overall health. As an adult woman, our daily intake should only be 36 grams per day…curious as to why you set a goal of 93 grams per day…that’s triple the amount suggested. I ask because you’ll want to not only increase your chances of losing weight, but also keeping the weight off once you lose it right? Sounds like you’re eating a lot of refined sugar which is rapidly absorbed by the body, causing a significant spike in blood sugar levels, which can lead to insulin resistance, weight gain, increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic health issues, while also lacking any essential nutrients due to its heavy processing that removes fiber and vitamins. It’s counterproductive…
My Fitness Pal set that goal for me. My doctor nor dietician has me monitoring it . Right now their focus is on protein, carbs, calories, fiber and fat. Maybe later they will address my sugar. 🤷🏾♀️
