7 months and I didn't reply?! What's wrong with me? Ha That's wild Cause I'm subscribed to your channel on my personal YT account LOL thank you for the comment!! And yes, that wind is unexpectedly insane!
@ohiotrailsmen no worries it happens to us all the time! if you are going back here anytime soon though we definitely need to tag along, we would love to see this place and lower a camera into it!!!
Gravitational acceleration (g): 9.80665 m/s² with Initial velocity (v₀): 0 m/s. Time of fall (t) 7 sec. Height (h) is 240 m or 2.5 Statues of Liberty for Americans.
If the hole went all the way through, people in China wouldn’t really get that mad. They would just have a slowly building pile of rocks building up around the edges. A building falling through would just land on the opposite side from where it fell & everything would take under 15 minutes to get through.
When I was little we would play “the never ending hole” on the trampoline. You’re safe when you are on the bar, but the black material represented the hole. This shaft is exactly how I use to imagine the hole 😂 Sometimes we’d fall until we came out of the other side, which we said was China. The random things that will trigger vivid memories 😂
Researched about this mine its between 700ft(213m) -800ft (243m) Most likely 800 most sources say. I used my weight 63kg and put the Depth and my weight in a chart. Apperently it would take me 6-7 secs to hit the bottom at 248.88km/h or 69.m/s Think id be pretty messed up when i see the bottom...
I don't know. I've heard a thousand feet. I've also heard it run down the entire depth of the mine. But I was told the mine is 4k feet so I don't think the shaft is that deep. I couldn't find the answer online.
The first rock dropped at 0:04 sounded like it hit the bottom at 0:08, but the boulders took twice as long, so I assume the first one bounced off the wall. A rock falling for 8 seconds falls 1000 feet.
@@number4cat1 it could of hit the bottom or the side of the shaft. We noticed some flat rocks would glide to the side. Next trip we are taking a fishing reel and a lot of spider wire. Sending the go pro down as far as we can.
The wind they make is insane

@ActionAdventureTwins we usually go once a year. Not sure about this year but if we go, it would be probably in October.
there are some amazing recordable sound effects to be had there.... if people would shut the hell up.
Things gonna be filled up at this rate.
🤣
Awesome video!
I wanna see a drone go down the hole!
fo sho. would be wicked footage
No politician
"We can't find the body, sir."
"Have you checked the shaft?"
"... ... Several times, sir."
"how did you check the shaft?"
"We threw rocks down it and no one screamed."

Yeah, what he said 😂
Air resistense left the chat
500 feet approx
Put a nite vision camera or a gopro with a small flashlight on a fishing pole and toss down that shaft.

@Daily_Llama perfect for a rock collector 😅
@@ohiotrailsmen 😆 O…H…!? #Cbus
@Daily_Llama I..O !!!! Sorry, only took me 2 weeks 😅
Over time, the hole will get less and less deep, to the point when it is fully buried by rocks and has no depth anymore😅

Hahaha it's like lava floor!
@@ohiotrailsmen exactly 😂😂😂
That shaft would have been a busy place back when it was beeing used .
Ain't no lie. I've heard the mine is huge
Sounds like there is a lot of water down there from that "Thump"
There is probably an urban explorer down there who now has bad head! 🤪

@@The_Swinn amazing!!! Too bad you wouldn't get to hear it 😅
Can you imagine all the animals down there? Raccoons, mice, squirrels, even deer. One way trip
@@GreyerShade talk about hitting rock bottom!
And the mice and squirrels would survive the fall. I'd imagine some birds with less dexterity could get stuck down there.
JMO. But I think this is disrespectful to the men who lost their lives in this mine.
I wonder how long it would take to fill it back up.
Too dang long lol
"China's pissed" hahahaha😂
Is there any horizontal access to this mine? With a vertical shaft that deep, there must be other horizontal openings in the area.
Yes, many levels
Super big subwoofer 😂
New fear unlocked 😢
You only need to fear if you ... Fall lol
@@ohiotrailsmen hmm
How deep? If they drop more in the middle it takes a long time to hear it.
I wish to visit this insane deep hole... but its a little bit far away from germany =D
Even after you get here It's a bit of a trip with offroad vehicles.
I have an lt1 short block up for grabs. hour west of roanoke.
🤣🤣🤣 that would be insane to drop
"people in China are gettin PISSED"

Lord of the rings? Lol
We need more of this if possible@@ohiotrailsmen
FOOL OF A TOOK!
Drop a 2 liter dry ice bomb down the hole next.
😂😂😂
How about some hand grenades and some c4
Sounds like it's at least 400 feet deep
Double that.
How deep is it 🎉
Have no idea. Deep lol
gallon glass jug full of gas and a road flare. good fun.

I win the rock drop. ;)
Lol you think you did. We haven't posted the big one yet
