Saw Jason Isbell play this model at show in Bellingham. Nice that the guitar proved up to his standards! It was played with other very high priced guitars in rotation.
@@gratefulmusicsound8337 They must've read my comment and altered the subtitles, but they were WAY more entertaining when the video was released. Glad my comment brought this to light. Cheers.
It's two years now and I am just discovering this. I had an old tele ...a long time ago. The bridge on this is shaved on the sides to access the strings better yet it still folded up along all the way towards the pickup. Very important towards it's design (the plate will not warp upwards after a long time) plus another thing about this guitar is the truss can be adjusted at the headstock I hadn't noticed this a couple weeks ago when I first discovered the Jason Isbell Tele. I Like It. I am thinking about purchasing one soon. I would suggest you to consider the same. Good package not too pricy
I would simply be horrible at this job as my heart would break every time I would have to return the guitar and I would forget what I was supposed to say as I would get distracted by playing or admiring the guitar🤣
I would like to have one of course. I just think that it would be cooler without the truss rod hole on the headstock, and without the skunk stripe. But then it would be just another Custom Tele I guess. Very cool guitar anyway.
Compared to the 3 pickup Fender Parallel Universe Volume II Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe Bigsby, the Jason Isbell Tele is a lightweight. My new Troublemaker arrived yesterday, and it is like nothing I have ever played before. It is downright wicked. So many tones and each one is killer. It makes no difference which switch or tap position you select. They all sound good. The Troublemaker Tele is different from any other Fender I know. It lives in a world of its own. It is intrepid and incredibly versatile. It can do it all. I joke you not!
It’s too bad Fender didn’t make more of them. At least it’s bad for those who want one, but didn’t get one. I guess it’s the opposite for those who did manage to get one. If/when they ever decide to sell it they will be able to sell it for substantially more than they paid for it.
@@charlesbolton8471 I know exactly how you feel. I think the Covid crisis caused Fender to forego the planned release of the 3 pickup Troublemaker Telecaster. I was told that fewer than 10 guitars actually made it to market. As far as future value goes, I already saw a used one listed for $5500 on Reverb. That is not a bad price actually. I don't think that I would part with mine at any price.
I’d buy one today if it didn’t have all that relic nonsense. Imagine buying a new car and paying extra for the dealer to sideswipe it along a guardrail before delivery. Fender, please release a model for adults.
I couldn't agree more, Paul. That is a fantastic looking guitar, they need to make it an option. If I want a relic of a guitar - I'll buy a used guitar.
You buy a brand new guitar, that looks as if "its been out on the road for years ". Not my particular preference, although the guitar sounds very good, and the guitar playing is outstanding. Cheers.

That is how the clean tones *should* sound. Has to be one of the prettiest Teles I've ever seen!

What a beautiful guitar. Sounds be great too.

Certified Gold!!!!!😎
Maybe for the stratocaster line of the road worn series could be a nice John Frusciante 1962 sunburst stratocaster with rosewood fingerboard 😉😉😉😉😉😉
That amp tho! 😍
Looks and sounds great! @fender and Eugene- is that delay or reverb on the intro? Love the tone!

Lol!! Lovely analogy!
This guitar is amazing. Personally though, I just wish it had a nice road worn maple fretboard.
Needs some more reverb
