Let's be honest... most people are felons that just haven't been caught. But to answer your question, NO. Wouldn't bother me at all... because I'm just like you. A former felon that had his rights restored MANY years ago and has had a valid concealed carry license for well over a decade.
Sounds like a discrimination lawsuit. I would get that I don't know if you looked into how many members I will guarantee you that they have other felons probably some sort of financial typical money thing or like you said they don't do background checks they don't know they just picked you out because if you're willing to go online and try to help others. Yeah man most people are assholes did he present to you anything in writing
Your channel name "Rights Restored" told me all I needed to know about you. Goodonya, Brother. Just Subscribed, looking forward to following your story. 👍
It's people's fear and misunderstanding. They live in fear of what they don't know. They don't wanna know because they think that their life is better than My life your life. They're just typical scared-to-death people. Like you said Those people that try to set a boundary are the first ones like you said to give it all up.
My goal with this channels is to expose my people to myself to show them that they don’t need to be afraid. I want to break that stereotype that has been painted for felons. Is just sad that the very place I was trying to make this happen has fallen victim to this false narrative.
Wow, if you have your gun rights a felony conviction should not matter at all, that should be more then enough. I hope you find a range who is more accepting. Keep being positive man.
It's no one else's business. Your rights have been restored end of story. You're too good for clowns like that. I hope ou find a better class of folks to be around.
Yeah bro! You know that I rock with you and it's evident that you are an extremely intelligent person of high character regardless of your felony conviction. It's unfortunate how small minded people can be and ex-clusive instead of in-clusive of people they hold judgment of. I definitely agree with the brotha in your comment section that said "their loss, not yours." I wouldn't be surprised if they call you in a few weeks asking you to come back when they start to realize their $$'s start to drop not truly understanding all that you bring to the table! Keep your head up Double R!! Know that we will still rock with you to the next gun range that appreciates who you are, how you move, and what you bring! 💯🏆💪🏾🙏🏽
You know bro I was in prison for 30 Months and upon release when I was paroled, A inmate stop me and said “ hey bro what’s the difference between you and the people on the other side of that fence? I couldn’t answer the question and he answered and said the people on the other side of that fence are no better than you and God just had not dealt with them yet.that was nothing but the Devil. You have turned your negatives to a positive and Satan doesn’t like that. Just go somewhere else and the Range that kick you out can kick rocks.

It's all to feed the prison industrial complex! I'm sorry that happened to you. I know what it's like but I'm in NJ with a ton of anti gunners who despise felons. Finding work is almost next to impossible. I feel like that's why New Jersey has such high recidivism rates.
I think you need to take a vacay to the South, and we can go to the outdoor range that I go to and am a member of. I am in the Hilton HEad/Savannah GA area!
I don't have a problem with any race but I just wish there were more African American gun ranges in ohio, as you might remember from our chats I recently got my rights restored, now once a week I'm at the gun range, I do everything right, as far as safety, polite, quiet, then about my business getting shots on target, feels like everybody is watching like hurry and get the f#$k outta here, I get a little nervous the guy next to me shooting keeps glaring at me with a gun in his hand like I'm about to rob the place at any moment, sh!ts irritating.
In my state (Ohio) I was able the get my firearms rights restored without expungement. I buy my firearms through licensed dealers and undergo background checks for them all, I also have a concealed carry license.
@@Rightsrestored556 I'm also in Ohio unless they changed it this past year you still had to get an expungement a friend just had to go through that this past year to be legal again
Right! Thats crazy for them to say that to you at all. I could maybe understand if you had a complaint. But that wouldnt have anythi g to do with you being a felon. Thanks for the good content brother!
I never said anything about race. Yes, I was the only black person that I’ve ever saw shooting at that range. Yes, that was a range that had a large amount of law-enforcement as members. I said that they are behind on recognizing that a felon can make a change in their lives. If the state and the law can see that then the range shouldn’t discriminate against me because of my past. If it’s a club for legal firearms owners then that is what I am. A new policy that specifically disqualifies me is what I’m talking about not racism just discrimination.
You should sue the socks off of them. That's full blown discrimination
Thanks! Im from Ohio as well and about to go through the process myself. Keep doing what your doing!
Good on you, you my friend are a perfect example of integrity! Your awesome
I appreciate that! Thanks
Would having a felon shoot at the same range as you make you uncomfortable???

Ide like to talk with you personally to help me out I agree with everything your saying brother
Nope
Not at all. Most felons realize some mistakes that they made. Other might have been wrongful convictions.

One word for it Discrimination. Your clearly on a new path and have been walking it for awhile now. Keep your head up the loss was their's.

Absolutely 👍🏻
Sigh. Freaking Fudds make it tough to find a good range. If you're legal and safe you're welcome at my range.
Thanks

Soooo you had your record Expunged then to be legal to own ?
Depends on the state. In some you can get your rights restored without having your conviction expunged.

Good enough for the ATF, Ohio Governor and Board of Pardons and Paroles...but not good enough for some 🤡 that works at a range...🤦🤦🤦
That's crazy sounds like some racist $#!+ bro
Why are you making it a race issue, it’s clearly not. Why not just file for expungement and you won’t be considered a convicted felon?
