Rode this for the first time yesterday. This coaster is wild. No amount of watching POV‘s will get you ready, but it is fun as hell.
Looks like Velocicoaster on meth!
@@NealCEdwards its milder
This is by far my new favorite roller coaster at Busch Gardens....so smooth and an amazing ride overall!
that little bunny hill in the middle of the launches gives more airtime then you expect.
IKR! my butt lifted out of my seat lmao
Honestly I expect a lot from that lol that looks intense! This ride is so cool
@@Ghostyfrost9688 That bunny hill right before the tophat gives insane ejector airtime front and backwards.
bruh i don’t think my ass was in the seat more than 30 seconds the whole ride this was great
It does! I was literally like off my seat half the ride 😂😂
Is it just me or does Seaworld/Busch Gardens have really weird things that they say right as you leave the station? Like "feel the rush on manta" or "prepare to be electrified on electric eel"
U should hear the Verbolten one 😂
i mean it’s probably only the really new rides
@@stardustare8292 not really. Feel the Sting of the Scorpion, Fury of the Sandstorm, Challenge the Python.
also on Apollo's Chariot they say "Thank you and enjoy your voyage to the sun on the wings of Apollo's Chariot." also they say on Griffon "Now prepare to enjoy the power and speed of the mythical Griffon.
@@cyborgladiator6 "Remember don't look back as you brave the black forest."
Just rode Pantheon this weekend and it was INTENSE. We got on right after the sunset (we went during Howl-O-Scream) and being in the dark made it crazier. Al of us were blown away by how fast and how much upside down time you have
i went on this a few months ago, it's absolutely diabolical. there's a lot of airtime, and it goes so much faster than you expect. the launch section is also really fun, and i love the part where you get shot into the air backwards. it's also really smooth and fun overall.
damn im surpised how your able to ride pantheon. all im brave enough to ride is loch ness monster💀💀
It’s beautiful 🥲
@@WrinklyTwinkiesInvader and Verbolten are both less intense than Loch Ness
I went on it today and I love it PANTHEON GOD RULES
Just road this coaster when I went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this week. Best ride in the park!
I love the way the launch sounds its like the roar of a car engine and so for the sound of the brake
You should check out Taron (Phantasialand), the second launch has the same amazing sound
It's really loud in person, especially towards the end of the day!
@@jobmooij918 I know right Intamin lsm's sound so good next to the blitz launch
@@dillonlewallen7086 that's cool
And the video does it no justice. The sound and feeling of acceleration in person is awesome.
Was there last week and this was such a killer ride!
You’re guaranteed a rollback
I love that!!!
If you’re afraid coasters remember, you’re more likely to die driving to the theme park then actually dying on the roller coaster.
Thanks for the advise 😂
Agreed. The drive from Norfolk is pretty intense.
I love this ride it’s so smooth and so dun
This was nonstop fun. I couldn't stop laughing the whole ride and found it just spectacular. Easily my favorite in the park. I love all the coasters and have been going to BGW for over 15 years, but this is just a unique experience that doesn't relent the entire way. If anyone wants an "intense" roller coaster, this would be a standout addition.
The best ride I've EVER rode!! Rode this yesterday and im obsessed! ❤
One of, if not the best coaster I’ve ever been on. What a F’n ride!!!
ME TO!
This ride looks like so much fun, can't say I see many coasters with a backwards launch and right back into another launch forward, very cool.
Crazier still is that it's a freaking lap bar coaster! First time I ever rode a coaster with inversions that didn't use shoulder style restraints
I had the most amazing last ride on Pantheon last night, the Labor Day fireworks finale went off right across from us just as we left the station. Most. Epic. Coaster Ride Ever. Due to the location it was as if we were flying right into the fireworks. Every element we hit had a barrage accompanying it. OMG. Our whole train was amped. The energy just.. wow. Best trip to BGW I've ever had and best possible last ride you could hope for.
I went today and didn't get to ride it but the last time that I did, I completely decided that I was a ride person
I had that exact same experience on Apollo's Chariot. There was no line at the time so we were actually allowed to stay on and got to ride it 4 or 5 times with fireworks going off. 🎆
My husband and I will be in Williamsburg next week. My husband, who finds roller coasters to be boring due to getting used to the same layouts, expressed interest in this ride. Hope we get to ride it during our first ever trip to Busch Gardens!
He’s gonna like it, the rides elements are very unique and they are just the start to what rmc (a coaster manufacturer) is creating,
Let us know what he thinks! -Scott
this is my first time going to busch gardens. i’m going with my friend and i am extremely nervous to ride it. i will be on it in a few hours😃👍
How was it? Me and my family visited and thought it was an amazing coaster
@@henrystone6667 you mean intamin?
Beautiful POV
Rode this for the first time - in the dark at Howl-o-Scream - worth every second of the wait. Coasters don't get me, but this, at night, got me. Awesome.
Outstanding!
You need to go on this in person if you have the chance. The video does NOT do a justice at all. Such an amazing coaster!
IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!
This track layout reminds me of something I would design as a kid in RollerCoaster Tycoon.
1:06 the 95% drop made my heart drop
This coaster is actually insane. Was scared at first but man is this fun!
Just found out about this ride today!! Looks soooo sick! Busch gardens has the most unique intamin coasters
as a coaster lover, thanks
Love this
AWESOME RIDE!
this coaster is LIFE CHANGING y’all
Awesome so much fun!! The worst part was waiting an hour for it and if it wasn't for the line would've done more laps! Def one of a kind!
Me and my friend went yesterday. And the line was only like 20 minutes. It was at 8:15 though
this is the best roller coaster ive ever ridden
watching this seems tame but when you actually go on it it’s one of the most intense things at the park especially the launch segments, after that first hill there’s so much going on and then….it’s over.
This looks fun!
Went on this yesterday, it’s AWSOME
Pantheon and Griffon are the best rides in VA
That looks sick!!!!,!,!!!,!!!!,!,!!!!,!,
Unbelievable😍Thanks for the nice videos. How and where do you mount the camera? Thanks for your answer✌️
Every ride requires a different mounting solution. -Scott
BEST. RIDE. EVER!!!!!
Just rode this monster 3 times in a row today, there's practically no lines on Sundays! I was a little cautious about a coaster with inversions without shoulder style restraints, but the lap bars used here actually work real well and give you crazy moments of wieghtlessness, yes you read that right, this IS A LAP BAR COASTER 😂 its a must if you come to this park.
Im so excited to go on this ride this summer!
how was it?
from the thumbnail i thought it was an invert lmao
Lets go coaster force !!
Woohoo! -Scott
This is the greatest rollercoaster I’ve ever been on and it’s not really close
You need to go on more coasters. Wouldn't even make my top 20
@@stevenmechetti4452 oh shut the hell up no one asked.
You have to do Velocicoaster and you'll feel different
believe it or not going backwards was scarier than going upside down on this ride LOL
I can tell why.. it's a shame you can see the entire ride right before you ride. That would have really messed up the people that didn't realize it's supposed to go backward and then launch again.
NOw that its getting to summer the rides showing its true power
That's one heck of a Zero-G stall. 😮 I wanna ride!!
Hey man me and my boyfriend met you that day! We talked to you about ur go pro on your arm and we let you in front of us. I hope you are doing alright !! Love the video, I showed my dad. 🥰😊
That's so awesome! I remember you all! Thank you for the kind words. -Scott
I was at Busch Gardens Williamsburg today and got on that
I gotta go for a spin on this. I’m not too far. I’ll go in the spring.
The ride is great but why is there no theming at all? They literally just plopped it down in an empty field of grass
Theming has never once added to my enjoyment of any ride.
I go to a park to ride as many coasters as fast possible.
I do not really understand what theming adds for people, I would rather have 15 coasters with no theming packed in a park than 5 themed rides like Disney World and wait 3 hours for a single ride because the parks amount of guests far outweighs their rider capacity.
@@spider0804YES!!!!
I went on this and i was so excited that i was going on a fast top hat coaster and the fastest multi Lauch coaster=PANTHEON
😍
Imagine if they actually planted some trees or had some theming. It would take it to another level.
Holy shit!!!
Has that track ever NOT transitioned over or got stuck half way causing the cars to derail?
Any more povs from Busch Gardens Williamsburg this year?
Yes, expect updated POVs of all major roller coasters at the park in 5K! -Scott
cool ride, but is the digital smoothing built into the camera? it doesn't seem like a desirable feature for a coaster pov
I'd have to agree here. It just makes these rides look tamer than they really are (Sik's POV at Flamingo Land for example). I'm all for smoothing, but only to an extent. Not really to this kind of point.
Toutatis >>>
Is it me, or do those launchers sound like an A-10 goin' "Happy BRRRRRRRTDAY"?!?
The only thing is coaster lacks is it feels separate from the rest of the park and there's no theming
😊😊😊
How were the lines when you went?
anyone else find it weird how the stall rotates a full 360 degrees instead of coming back the same direction it entered in? it’s like an elongated zero g roll
Yeah I was thinking the same thing
Yep.
Just rode this for the first time
It was bad weather and foggy but still a good ride
Yes indeed! Rode it for the first time yesterday after the sun set...it was an awesome experience!
Bro I greyed out so hard on this and then woke up in a bathroom with my an eye patch
I want to see the part where the tracks switch, because I seriously wonder how fast that track switches to allow for the rollback, because what happens if that part malfunctions?
the launch system is there and will stop the train if it malfunctions.
ride will be stopped by the breaking system on the launch track either falling from the rollback section or being stopped immediately, either way it is very unlikely it would malfunction.
Everyone dies.
@@LoveStallion roller coaster 1 has crashed
The track switch is very fast, like it switches before you even stop to head backwards
I rode this ride last Saturday and for Howl-o-Scream it was pitch black riding it at night it was amazing.
i just want them to go back to making cool hypercoasters
Come on you can’t lie everybody watches these before going to Busch gardens
What if the track stops moving and the train comes back. Onto it?
looks scary
I really should've not given my coaster virginity to this ride
Wait, so this technically has 7 launches.
BEST FUGGIN COASTER IN THE WORLD
Does this coaster actually have a maximum height limit of 6’4? I am 6’5 and will happily not put my hands up if it means I can ride 😅
My husband is 6’4.5”. They pulled him aside to measure him after we all sat down in the seats. Then they kicked him off 😂
@@chelsearaehill honestly thank you so much for commenting & letting me know!! I still haven’t gone & I’ve been skeptical. Sounds like I won’t be able to ride 😭
What if that track jammed while switching. That freaks me out.
There are brakes all along that launch track. The launches even double as brakes. It’s completely failsafe. If the switchtrack doesn’t work, the train will stop automatically in a safe location.
This ride almost made me shit my fucking pants. Terrifying but fun as hell
Lmao😂
Is it just me or does the pantheon seem faster?
Bush garden
Too bad I can’t ride this because I’m above the max height of 6’4”
Same here! After riding Velocicoaster I started looking at this park as my next destination and saw that this ride was new, and had also been designed by Intamin. So I was EXTREMELY saddened by the restriction. I'm 6'7" and fit on Velocicoaster just fine.
I think in 10 years every coaster will have lsm launches. Chainlifts are useless now. You can get up a giant hill without a chainlift and lsm takes up a lot less space.
I do not think there will ever be a 300 foot tall LSM launch hill, they tend to need to be a shallower angle for the greater height and the shallow angle means the hill is longer which costs more.
The shallow angle means you do not need as much power to move a train up a hill and it helps with heat management and power draw.
The more motors you have in a line the more modules there are to break too, it would be a maintenance nightmare.
They are best used where there are not many in a row and there is not a continual draw on the electrical system, quick bursts are best.
This ride is a perfect example of how to design a ride to be reliable when it has expected current draws in the hundreds or thousands of amps.
The longer that draw is the more the distribution suffers, as shown by Lightning Rod and Maverick.
@@spider0804 you are aware kingda ka uses a launch hill and it’s over 400 feet, at a 90 degree angle. Kinda proves you wrong.
@@brotatochip7001 It is not an LSM launch, the statement was that EVERY coaster will have an LSM launch. You are proving yourself wrong with your lack of understanding context.
Seems like Toutatis/CDA used this Intamin track as a blueprint and finalised it with every option in the Intamin orderbook 😅
Who what to slide with me June 26 to July 2 and we getting on this ride and we doing more
Sorry, but my husband and I will be going back from on June 26th.
It's a shame that they didn't really theme Pantheon.
I got no airtime on this ride, which made me sad.
0:38 BRO IT SOUNDS LIKE A CAR

It was running one train that day?
It went down to one train toward the end of the day. -Scott
💀
ITS FUN BUT COULD BE A LOT BETTER SMH..
i fucking hate this ride, i was forced to go on it twice and i felt so sick afterwards. its impressive but jesus christ
velocicoaster’s better
Can we just enjoy both please?
THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE. ONE MUST BE DEMOLISHED.
Pantheon has the better launch
They’re both good
This ones extremely short
Griffon=the best🇫🇷...Pantheon=the beAst🇮🇹
Rode this yesterday and it was so wild. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’ll be honest. The air time was incredible.
