You really need to ride Loch Ness this year because what they did to it is absolutely amazing. The ride is more comfortable than ever and the theming is extremely amazing and I was very impressed with it on my most recent visit last week especially when BGW’s most recent additions were lacking on this. They added a detailed queue, an entire soundtrack in the station and a musical sequence as the train dispatches, Narration on the lift hills and break runs, high definition projection screens, lights, and extremely loud sound effects in the cave tunnel, and a life-size, Loch Ness monster statue with sound effects at the end of the ride. I cannot have been more impressed with how BGW has kept and well-maintained their oldest attraction. All of these attractions in the park have all been extremely new. Meanwhile, this attraction has been there for almost 50 years while all these other attractions were gutted out that open later and are now long gone and this 50 year old attraction still remains well kept.
Even though Busch Gardens Williamsburg isn’t my home park, here’s how I rank each of the coasters at the park: 1. Verbolten 2. Pantheon 3. Alpengeist 4. Griffon 5. Loch Ness Monster 6. Apollo’s Chariot 7. InvadR 8. Tempesto 9. DarKoaster 10. Grover's Alpine Express BTW, fantastic video Brandon! Keep up the good work! 😁👏👏👌
Griffon and Yukon Striker are the two best dive coasters in the world. Pantheon is the best coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Fun fact: While I don't like OG Busch beer: I LOVE Atlas brewed in Belgium under the Anheuser/Busch label. Big difference.
Verboten. Apollo. Pantheon. Top 3. Lochness is cool. But super rough compared to all of the newer rides at this point in my life. Pantheon is an absolute gem. The first half is just insane. Absolutely Exhilarating
I haven’t been here in 10 years, so my rankings so far go 1. Apollo’s Chariot 2. Verbolten 3. Loch Ness Monster Yes, that’s all the credits I have for BGW.
man i really need to get back to this park. Last time i was there Big bad wolf was still there so its been a while. Its really hard to decide what coaster for me at the time was number 1 but i think i have to give it to Alpengeist. Back when i got to ride it, the midcourse didnt really stop us all that much so we tore though the second part. It was super intense and made it my favorite Invert ive ridden so far. Sad to hear they pretty much stop you on it now. Or i just got lucky on the ride i had on it. defiantly would have to put Griffon below that best dive coaster ive been on so far. Then Big bad. I know its not there anymore but i havnt been to the park in a very long time since im on the other side of the country.
Loch Ness and Invader aren't as rough if you ride the front...love them both, but Verbolten just gives me the giggles and Apollos Chariot is so much fun... Pantheon scared the hell out of me...😅 The rest of the coasters are amazing. I can't wait for the new "Big Bad Wolf" to open where Drachen Fire used to be. It's gonna be great!
I love BGW and will be heading there next week. I haven't been since before Tempesto. Looking forward to getting on the newer coasters and introducing my kids to the park
If you ride Invader, be warned, it is VERY, VERY rough. My rankings after going to the park 4 times in the 3 weeks. #1- Pantheon, the first coaster i have ever seen that has inversions with lap bar restraints, incredible airtime, very fun all around and riding back seat gives you an incredible stall at the top, before being whipped straight down a 90° Drop! #2- Apollo's Chariot, its just a great clean, simple hypercoaster, a coaster of coasters, very fast, great drop, good airtime, and c'mon, this is the coaster Fabio got hit by a bird on back in 1999!😂 #3- Verbolten, dont let its meager 89 foot drop and family coaster rating fool you, this thing has an acceleration right at the start into a dark drop, fast turns, a suprises straight down platform drop, its just fun all around. #4- Griffon, insultingly high drop at 90°, fast speed, aggressivly steep climb to that drop, they hang you over the edge if you are ij the front row before the drop and with a capacity of 30 riders per ride, the line almost always moves fast. #5- Alppengiest, its all about the g forces on this thing, you will feel like the blood is rushing to your feet and and by the end as yoy are waiting to pull back in amd hop off you will be wiggling your toes trying to get your feet to atop being numb 😂
10 Grover’s alpine express a kids coaster 9 tempesto very overused track design 8 DarKoaster never really found it enjoyable idk why 7 invader I just love that first drop I can really feel it when I go down that 6 apollos chariot pretty basic ride just not a huge fan of air time hills only 5 griffon very copy and pasted but I still think this a amazing ride and my favorite kind of this ride 4 Loch Ness monster always had a soft spot for it and then it got renovated making it so much better 3 alpengiest has a amazing intense start but then the last half is a bit more slow and kinda boring 2 verbolten has great theming love the boosts and the secret elevator drop always gets me 1 pantheon very fun with its backwards spike and top hat but I wish it had some theming which could make it so much better
Lochness monster has a great location but I could never put it over Apollos Chariot, actually I would put Apollo at #3 behind Pantheon and Alpengeist and I would have Lochness even lower, like at #8 only in front of Grover#10 and Tempesto#9 (not a fan of Tempesto or Tigris) and I would probably have Invadr at #5,really fun, especially at night.
Spot on about Pantheon's lack of theme. Coulda built either a bunch of ruins or a palace. That's the ugliest coaster ever at Busch Gardens. Looks like it was plopped down on an abandoned fair-grounds. BTW, back row for Apollo. For Griffen, gotta get the far right on the front row. Can't believe you dissed The Log Flume.
Pantheons outbanked hill isn't just underwhelming. It's downright boring. That first 0 g winder gets you excited, the swing launch is out of this world, and then you hit the top hat. The top hat is underwhelming, and you think, at least this outerbanked turn is gonna be awesome. But going through it, I was just confused. Considering that going over the top hat and the outer banked hill are half of the major elements of the ride, it kinda ruins the overall experience for me. It's still a great ride but it could be so much better.
I get this is YOUR ranking but watching this, I have to question if you have ever ridden any of them. Verbolten and Pantheon aren't top 5 coasters, better yet 1 and 2. Pantheon is a garbage ride on its best day and could easily be reduced to the launch and tophat.
Out of all possible songs you could have chosen😂

Loch Ness Monster over Apollo’s Chariot 💀 you’ve gotta be joking 🤣
Yeah all of his rankings has got me. Would truly love him to sit passenger in a actual fighter jet.
I’m confused by his rankings 😂

If verboten had a moving platform it would be 12/10
Verbolten at 2 is really fun. Usually the big coasters are in the top but that ride IS just so fun if not intense.
Verboten. Apollo. Pantheon. Top 3. Lochness is cool. But super rough compared to all of the newer rides at this point in my life. Pantheon is an absolute gem. The first half is just insane. Absolutely Exhilarating

Could B&M redo Apollo’s Chariot to give more kick? In addition do think BGW need to add some major theming to Pantheon as well?

3. Alpengeist
4.Pantheon (Not as huge as a fan as some)

Arrow loopers are all painful outdated experiences; I only ride them for the credit.
Even Dollywood’s looper? I’ve heard nothing but good things about that one.
@ItsSiebay haven't been there, yet; but I'd guess it's just as bad as all the others.
What a beautiful park with some great coasters.
Going next week!
Finally! Somebody didn’t put verbolten at the bottom
1. Griffin
2. Apollos
3. Alpengeist
I used to live in Williamsburg and I used to go to Busch Gardens all the time
And I went on Alpengeist
I think it's time for me to head back soon because I haven't been there since 2013. A lot has clearly changed since my last visit.

I prefer the back of Griffon... you sit up much higher!
Going in a month. Looking forward to riding Loch ness, the big brother of the Orient Express from Worlds of fun (RIP)
*Why this song*
Great list, except Apollo's should be higher imo
Apollo and Verbolten are my faves. I love all of them
Bro when I went on Loch Ness monster I got banged around a little and both my ears hurt other than that it was amazing

The only one I agree with
It looks like you were about to fall down and getted cooked in the intro and bro was playing the most innocent music
Rip big bad wolf
i went on the pantheon 4 times and im the only one who didnt scream
4:03 I just noticed something 💀
