Your opponent clearly didn't read sethron in that first game. It was obvious after they tried to single block your board
From about 2 years playing Minotaurs, the single block attempts almost always are followed by salty ropes/ragequit-closing the game.
Yeah, real shocker that the dude who brought his Standard soldiers deck to historic wasn't hip to the text on Sethron.

This is actually 2+ year old jank. LegendVD did this deck without Aggrevated Assault ages ago.
I love watching Seth play minotaurs... every time I see Mono R Minotaurs I get excited
Aggravated Assault seems almost secondary to the deck. Still cool tho, love spbkaso!
It's a good backup combo. What seems the most dead-weight is Rising of the Day. I would cut that for cheap removal and/or card filtering.
It is. Deathbellow/Sethron jank was around as soon as Jumpstart dropped.
Especially as he activates it with his combo mana pre-attacks, so that everything is tapped for the extra combat phase...
@@TimHaloun No, you didn't understand the combo there.
Neheb, the Eternal only adds mana in the main phase post combat so when you see him adding mana it means the combat phase is already gone, so he has to activate Aggravated Assault in order to attack. After that attack there is ANOTHER main phase where Neheb will add more mana, so he can pay the Aggravated Assault again, untap all creatures and attack again.
I love seeing Seth playing in best of one more. Hopefully means i can face him.

Hello everyone it's Sethron, probably better known as minotaur combo.
Looks like there's probably a lot of ways to go infinite with Aggravated Assault. Krenko, Mob boss + Skirk Prospector immediately popped into my head as one of them. I do like this deck though as it can just burst out of nowhere and end the game.

I have a Neheb the Eternal edh deck, I took Aggravated Assault out because it literally just wins the game out of nowhere

I've been playing a lot of explorer minotaurs and its at least got the package of skirk prospector + wily goblin + fable + irencrag to ramp out warcry, but it sure wouldn't hurt to have a secondary infinite combo, or the barbarian. And even without sethron, its hilarious to kill people with the jank package of ahn-crop crasher, barging sergeant (!), shatterskull minotaur, moraug and/or fanatic. I mean, 20 damage is all it takes even if its draft chaff commons
Sure, when HE commits aggravated assault, he gets 10k likes on youtube. But WHEN I do it, Im not allowed at the local game store anymore.
Is it good or bad that ATO is best if one now? I would like to see one match of best of 3 to see what side board you would build.

This deck could use the elemental that sacrifices for 2 colorless but gives the creature haste that you cast with the mana.

I think I've played against that particular Yawgmoth deck and it wasn't an infinite combo deck it was a -1/-1 counter deck.

Haha, it doesn't fit into the combo of course. But it is my fave 2 drop creature in at least standard atm. Too slow for aggro, but pretty good for mid to late game beatdown 😆

There’s some interesting stuff here. Would Ox of Agonas be a Minotaur? You’ll be discarding a lot of cards so you need some kind of creature recursion.

Only had a 40% win rate.
It eats midrange and maybe gets control if control is unfamiliar with the deck. It seems way too slow for aggro.
Deck went from mono red in the intro into a Rakdos deck in the middle of the video. Very confused.
