In my laptop, I have a WiFi card with an E-A connector. I installed a type E card, but it doesn’t turn on, even though the adapter fits. I wanted to upgrade from WiFi 5 to WiFi 7. However, when I insert the previous card, it works fine. My question is whether this issue is due to incompatibility or something else. I've noticed that most WiFi 7 cards only have E connectors, so I'm not sure if I can upgrade.
We have even upgraded intel core i3 7th gen based MBs with no problem but we have noticed that compatibility is a great issue with WiFi 7 BE200 cards, sometimes it works absolutely perfect, but we've had issue weven with very recent computers with core 7 processors 14th gen. There is even difference between manufacturers, so my suggestion would be go for a WiFi 6E card ( amzn.to/3VKIdyQ ) that can achieve incredible speeds of 1.4 Gbps when connected to a WiFi7 AP with a higher thatn 1 Gbps interface.
@@ijazzzali I haven't found any solution, since nothing is displayed on the screen, I don't think there's anything that can be done. I think I'll buy a Wi-Fi 6E card.
@@raulvicente7441 Thanks for your reply. I have lenovo 330s 15IKB, it has E Keyed slot for wifi card. I found a thread on reddit, where the user has successfully installed wifi 7 card on the same laptop.
how to get mlo to work with this?i have a wifi 7 router and pcie card for my pc...drivers are installed too...but it doesn't connect to multiple bands at a time...
I understand and that is something that is mostly handled by the APs. for example in Omada APs you will find that as MLO or multi Link Operation which will even let you mix 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz to have even greater speeds.
@@TechnologyMoments windows 11 does not support it yet , even 320 MHz not working on windows 11 , only linux ubuntu has support for 320mhz on intel be200 . what you could reach same 6e 160mhz 1500mb more less , wifi 7 king still oneplus 11 5g :) 4g on wifi 7
Do you have a recommendation for a Dell Inspiron 1500 5570 . Has a gen i3 8th generation. It has new HD, SS 32 MBRam windows 11. The wifi never worked from the factory well. That is why it has been unused since bought. I would like to upgrade the wifi to maximum and up to date. Thanks. Is it one of the 2 in your links? Thanks.
Do I need an access point for this? Or can I receive a signal to my phone right away? Also, how would I hook up a second computer to this? And how is this even receiving a signal?
If you want to upgrade your Home network, you get the wifi7 AP (amzn.to/3VDuOIV ) or a router such as the Archer series which is very good (amzn.to/45J426n )
That is actually very probable, but after analyzing the behavior, the question we had was, why only in the 5 GHz band? Actually in WiFi 7 native mode worked very well which is something that had misguided us. Thanks for enriching this exchange of ideas!
Sorry, still we cannot make any recommendations for a specific model. As you may have been able to watch compatibility in some laptops is pretty variable. If you can order having the option of a return, I would order WAVLINK's adapter, the best one so far we've tested: wavlink be200 wifi 7 wireless m.2 card: amzn.to/3YDU7Np It is the best one we've tested so far.
Thank you for explaining that. That was a great video!

Are you sure the limited speed is not because of cpu of the laptop you are testing with? Can you try with a more recent laptop?
Hi, good question, and as we were able to probe in the most recent videos, it wasn't with the same hardware we reached 2.5 to 4.3 Gbps.
will this intel car work with an AMD CPU laptop?
Unfortunatelly it does not. Only intel based PCs.

Hi, yes it is the same link, but just in case, this one checked: amzn.to/419itAk
Yeah best thing to do with any dell is take it outside and put it in the trash bin on garbage pickup day

This update will make your laptop compatible with all WiFi signals, If you want to run as fast as WiFi 7 of course you need to connect to a WiFi 7 AP.
Lenovo flex5 intel core i3 support wifi 7 Card?
Okay but where do i actually get wifi 7 from? Do i just buy a wifi 7 router or does the ISP need to upgrade things on their end?

Maybe the WiFi antennas of the laptop doesn't fully support the WiFi 7 Standard such as the 6Ghz band

Do you know which Intel model WiFi 7 card works on a HP ENVY Laptop 17-ch0599nz ?
