  • Hi friends,
Welcome back to our channel and to another one of our review videos. This time we're reviewing the Capital One Lounge at Washington Dulles International airport (IAD) which opened up last year in September 2023. This is actually our 2nd visit (our first was actually grand opening day!). So join us and explore what the lounge has to offer. Feel free to drop any comments or questions and we'll get them answered :)
Below is some information regarding the lounge such as amenities, access, etc.
    Amenities:
Relaxation Zones: Settle into plush seating, unwind in quiet nooks, or recharge in the dedicated workspaces complete with high-speed Wi-Fi.
Foodie Delights: Indulge in a selection of healthy grab-and-go options like salads and granola bowls, or savor plated small bites and dishes featuring local Northern Virginia flavors. Quench your thirst with fresh juices, a full-service coffee and pastry bar, or a variety of beverages from the full bar.
Essential Conveniences: Luggage lockers, a spacious parent room, family-friendly areas, and accessible restrooms ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for everyone.
    Exclusive to Dulles:
    - Try the exclusive Pre-Flight Lager, a helles lager, from award-winning Lost Rhino Brewing Company in nearby Ashburn, Virginia.
    - Check out specialty coffee and espresso from Blanchard’s Coffee.
    Access:
    - Capital One Venture X Cardholders: Enjoy unlimited complimentary access for yourself and two guests.
    - Capital One Venture Card and Spark Miles Cardholders: Receive two complimentary visits per year, with additional visits costing $45 each.
    - Non-Capital One Cardholders: One-time access can be purchased for $65.
    Additional Tips:
Check the Capital One Lounge website (www.capitalone...) before your visit for potential wait times and capacity updates.
Consider booking your access in advance, especially during peak travel times.
Review the lounge's dress code policy before your visit.
Relax and enjoy your time at the Capital One Lounge!

We were able to go there last November. Though it is a small lounge, it is still pretty cool and I love that we have it IAD. I try my best now not to fly from DCA. I wish the CO Landing in DCA will happen soon!

We agree! Although quite small, we absolutely loved it. We’re also patiently waiting for DCA to open too, fingers crossed it’s super soon 🤞🏽

Where did you go once you got to the top of the escalators? It is super hard to find that elevator from there. Can you describe it?

If coming from regular TSA, you’ll see some ads pointing to the direction of the lounge. So once you clear TSA, you’ll go up the escalators and turn right. Keep walking until you see either an elevator (which can take you one floor up), or if you keep walking past the elevator, you’ll see stairs that go up to TSA Precheck that says ‘Do Not Enter’ at the top. You can climb up those stairs, and then turn around and the lounge will be right there. Kinda confusing coming from regular TSA.
If coming from TSA Precheck, it’s right after you clear the security before walking down the stairs
