My high porosity hair gets so dry....I had to switch to Co wash(Oyin hand made, and Curl Junkie Co wash). When I do use a Shampoo it's a butter Shampoo by (soultanicals). And I definitely have to prepoo before washing and I do a hot oil treatment AFTER I wash.
As for protein I use "greenbeauty" protein and I add a tablespoon to Camille rose pear custard and the camille rose jansyn's max conditioner. I use the both when adding protein. I have to be careful with protein it will dry my hair out. And I have to stay away from silicons. I definitely read labels when buying products.....and now...
My hair is thriving and very thick since doing the big chop. 💕

Woow am jealous my Hugh porosity is always dry no matter the product. I am new to this is started a yr ago and is always shedding. I had wasted so much on product foliwing RUclips videos. I'm just frustrated I'm almost giving up though I know I have beautiful hair it's exhausting

@@harrietamankwa9657 whatever you do. Don’t give up. I was in the same boat and I’ve since changed what I was doing and the products and now I’m on the right track. Head over to green beauty channel and follow her advice on high porosity hair. My hair is thriving. I use her onion garlic recipe, I use her protein treatment every week and I do a acv rinse on top of my conditioner. I also wash in 2 strand twist to avoid single strand knots.

I use Briogeo Don’t Despair and OMG it has the PERFECT moisture balance in one jar, I still can’t believe I slept on this product for soooo long, my 4c, fine strands, super high porosity with cuticle going in all directions is super healthy now, the only thing I don’t like is that it’s expensive ….thank you for content!
