I really appreciate how thorough your product reviews are. Not everyone lists all products discussed and it gives us an excellent reference. You have introduced me to some great products. 🤩 Also your hair and makeup look fabulous. 🥰
Great video! My favourite moisture protein DC's are Mielle babassu mint, TMC green tea and carrot and the TMC ancient egyptian. My holy grail is Afrotastic.
My favorite moisture protein balance DC is the Camille Rose Naturals Algae Renew DC. It's so softening and doesn't make the hair gummy or brittle. It is definitely strengthening over time (I've been using it every wash day for a while now) and I get extremely little shedding on my wash days (which is every 5-7 days). My shedded hair ball is about half an inch big. Its so small and not compact with hair. Ive never had this little hair loss on wash days before and I give the props to that DC (and my techniques).
Great video and information!! Loving the make up!! I love balanced DCs especially since I'm high porosity and can always use some strength!! Definitely gave me some options for shopping later on in the year... Right now I'm loving the SSI Okra DC and Okra Reconstructor, Bekura Vanilla Whiskey, Uniqurl DC, and Texture Me Natural Henna and Alma DC and her Green Tea and Alma DC.. I agree with you on the lack of winter here in NC... It's been so weird.. Even though it was snowing in Charlotte last weekend when we visited which was awesome!! Thank you for sharing!!
My absolutely FAVORITE balanced treatment is the Ouidad Meltdown elasticity treatment. My goodness! When I 1st applied it, my scalp immediately heated up & I was reminded of my relaxer days. (I do have a very sensitive scalp, so should have realized it wasn’t actually burning - just felt like!.) Only left it in for about 7 mins while in the shower. Was sure my hair would be destroyed & planned to immediately march it back to Ulta. But... as soon as I stepped out of the shower & saw my hair, my jaw dropped. Talk about renewed spring in my bleach highlighted type 4 coilies. 100% it’ll stay in my routine forever. Most folks probably wouldn’t consider it at all because of the cost (~$44 at Ulta), but I don’t care. Because my scalp is sensitive, I limit the time I leave it in to no longer than 10 mins, without a cap (& Lord knows, no extra heat!). But that’s all I needed for amazing results. And use it only once/month and my hair is thriving. (No negative scalp impact at all.) I love it!!!
I remember when Mo Know Hair Line first dropped and almost all my go to youtubers didnt like it, I hesitated to buy it but I wanted to support so I bought it anyway and I LOVED that entire line! I couldn't believe it, so I definitely agree it is worth the try. The mask always get my hair right back in shape when my curls aint looking too hot.
Thank you for this video, Bri.....I have a lot of the same products but haven't used yet so it was good to hear you talk about them.... love the make up and yes please do a tutorial.
Awesome video!!!!! Thanks for taking the time in explaining each function of the conditione. What is your thought on the Camille Rose Naturals Coconut Water Penetrating treatment conditioner?
I revisited this now that I'm taking time to notice how my hair reacts versus just focusing on certain RUclipsrs favorites. Chile, when I tell you my hair 🗣drunk it in!!!!! I had to do a double take like, hold up where did it go?
mannnn i have like 5 lavender quench jars !! amika masks are good! soul food is high on my list to try. miche peppermint is so good! oh mielle babassu mint dc.
Thanks for sharing!! ❤️ would love to see the look in this video. I need to put my Miche products to use, I’m slacking. I love the Maine choice pink lemonade mask, texture I’d original deep conditioner is a staple. I would love to see your review of melanin haircare and Miche new leave in and styling cream.
I only got the conditioner from the papaya line because I couldn’t justify another shampoo purchase. But I do have the shampoo and conditioner for the aloe one!
Hey sweets👋! I don't know what my problem is, I need to get with the program and crack open that Shescentit Pomegranate Pear dc in my stash.😫 As much of a Mane Choice stan I am, would you believe I have never tried any of the products you discussed?
Thanks for this balance targeted video. I love Miche. I've been kicking myself for not ordering the peppermint dc. I will definitely be in it if she brings it back this black Friday.
I really wanted to like the pink lemonade mask, I even have a back up. But I'm trying to use it up as a pre poo. I've had the peach black tea mask in my stash forever and still havent used it. I always hear good reviews on it though.
Bri how can I use a regular hand held dryer to dry my hair until I get a hooded dryer I wish I was still in NC TO HAVE YOU DO MY HAIR LOL ONE MORE IM NOW IN VEGAS PLEASE SEND ME A HAIR REGIME LUV GOD BLESS U HOPE U ARE FEELING WELL
There is an attachment you can purchase, mine is from Soft Hood, that will connect to your blow dryer so you can use it as a hooded drier! I got mine from Sally’s.
Hi so first it’s important to understand that I am not a licensed professional or medical doctor, and much of what you are asking is beyond the scope of what I can give. A natural hair journey is personal, and while I can create content and give basic advice there is no way for me to provide anyone that is not myself with a regimen beyond the basic needs. Shampooing, deep conditioning, moisturizing, and finishing with a styler are the foundation but YOUR needs will differ from mine based on your occupation, climate, health needs, and physical activity. Those are things that you’ll have to plug in based on trial and error. I’m working on a video now to show you guys how I do that. It’s also a lot to ask for every product combination as I’m only limited to what I have tried myself. Every product review for styling on my channel is paired with something to compliment whether it be within its own brand or from another. I would suggest making a list of things you want to try and use what I have posted as well as reviews from others to decide what you would like to try. I know it’s not easy, but it’s impossible to give anyone a blueprint for a successful hair journey. But there is a ton of content here and on its way that will hopefully assist you in that process. I hope that helps and I think much of my upcoming content will help. I wish you all the love and success on your natural hair journey 💜

Deep conditioners are my favorite part of wash day. Do you plan on trying the garnier shampoo and conditioner to go with the papaya mask?
Aaliyah Shabazz it my favorite part too
I only got the conditioner from the papaya line because I couldn’t justify another shampoo purchase. But I do have the shampoo and conditioner for the aloe one!
I love, love, love Amika. That's bey. I brought four of them from Marshall's. The only thing is if your sensitive to scents it may not be for you.

I have that mane choice but I haven’t gotten around to it
I'm surprised the Uniqurl Aloemint deep conditioner isn't in here. Isn't that more balanced or is it more moisture?
I found it was strengthening on my strands.. but child my hair going through something lol. Then again everyone’s hair takes in ingredients different.
It’s far more strengthen on my hair.
I love ❤️ your videos. By the way you look beautiful just like a baby doll. This video was very helpful. Thanks 🙏
