I bought one. I have an original 1978 267 in pristine condition. I always kept it in the box. My Grandmother bought it for me in June 1978. I'll do a side-by-side comparison vid right here on my 1966 Batman Channel And More when the new 267 arrives! Great vid thanks for sharing.
Robin looked like that back in the 1960s as well!! I had one for a Christmas pressie back in '66; still got it, though Robin went missing ages ago! I have the regular one also from the Corgi website, and have the Club Special version on its way too. The actual die-cast parts are spot-on when compared to the original - according to the Corgi Workbench Blog, they digitally scanned (LIDAR) one of their original models to recreate the tooling for this new one; it worked beautifully! 👍🏻
@@stevesstuff1450 😀 I've just opened my new batmobile this morning, been waiting for a few months from pre-order, I just had to have this release...what a fantastic looking new model ! Owned the original in the late '60s...just reminds me of that time when I fired the rockets at the baddies!! Die-cast detail is great, including the figures and cockpit detail such as the Batphone and radar screen.
Worst copies ever , are they legally allowed to use the corgi name ? Original corgi toys are fantastic but these from this so called corgi model club are terrible , i could never associate this lot with the name of the true corgi toys
That was one of my favorite toys I had as a kid.I had the BatBoat as well, you could hook it to the batcar trailer hitch.
My favorite 1966 batman toy as a kid. I still have 4.
Ideal 1966 Batcave, Ben Cooper Batman play suit, also were great.
Just ordered mine this morning, can't wait to see it as i always wanted one, that & the bionic man
I had an original as a kid . I kept immaculately along with my James Bond Aston. Wish i still had them.

Great overview. I received my one a couple of days ago. Compliments my original one magnificently.
Great video. Nice comparison between the two
Thanks! 👍
Looks great, I need to snag one! Thanks for video!
I remember this toy… never had it myself but still it’s nice 👍
Great video, thanks. Still waiting for my gloss version to be delivered - can’t wait!
Seems like I ordered my model years ago? Hopefully it should be delivered end of this month?
I'm still waiting for mine. I wonder if all of them have tinted windows. I also had the original matt version at one point.
Very nice and enjoyed the video
Hope they do Black Beauty
Hope they make man from uncle piranha
Thanks for the review and comparison. What about the tires and rims? How closely do they compare to the original?
Pretty close...:)
@@themodelbench Note: Another RUclipsr pointed out that the certificate has an error; Dick Grayson is not the actor who played Robin. 😉
@@biggeo4762 I saw that! I wonder will they correct it?
How much is it?
@@cvtogate Aout 50 pounds...
It’s beautiful mines in the post
Why is the Robin figure look like he is wearing a headband ? ... It's really odd looking ! 🤔
It looks to me like and extreme short back and sides😀
