Beautiful job..
Worst copies ever , are they legally allowed to use the corgi name ? Original corgi toys are fantastic but these from this so called corgi model club are terrible , i could never associate this lot with the name of the true corgi toys
How long did it take ?
a year..
Wish you showed us the process of you doing the “weddering” lol but nice job 👍🏾
Excellent Result, Thank You 😀
Great video. Nice comparison between the two
Thanks! 👍
I bought one. I have an original 1978 267 in pristine condition. I always kept it in the box. My Grandmother bought it for me in June 1978. I'll do a side-by-side comparison vid right here on my 1966 Batman Channel And More when the new 267 arrives! Great vid thanks for sharing.
Just another Chinese look alike. Don't fall for it.
Is this The same trumpeter model that amazon sells
I believe it is. 👍🏻
I unfortunately got late into the build of my own. Now inyerior from Bob. Do you have any suggestions to get a salon for my kit?
I got mine from Bob. I’ve no idea where you would get one.
I have the same kit, however my kit is in black sort of plastic. Is your painted or was that the color it came(gray?)
Mine came in grey and I painted it.
Hope they do Black Beauty
I always thought that the Trumpeter model was perhaps the most detailed and thoughtfully made model, especially when working with Honor and Glory. But apparently not, and I’m shocked to the amount of improvements and replacements needed for this one model.
Great video, thanks. Still waiting for my gloss version to be delivered - can’t wait!
It’s beautiful mines in the post
Hi the model bench I was watching your video and I was wondering where did you get the p.e magnet tool where you place the coal doors
I’m not sure what tool you mean? At what point does it appear?
At 8.21
When your putting mini brass condenser discharge
I can’t wait to build my own titanic @the model bench and I currently building the constitution for the second time and I had to stop last may because my nephew was born and I was using the tamiya orange glue and my sister can smell the odor from it and it was good for the baby
@@Tearsofthekingdom1982it’s just a needle with some blu tack on the end.
That computer though…
too bad shapeways went out of business
fantastic review
Seems like I ordered my model years ago? Hopefully it should be delivered end of this month?
Awesome work. Beautiful! I’m building the Academy 1:400 Titanic. I wish I’d have done the 1:200 Trumpeter. What color did you use for the funnels? Lots of debate on that and I like the color you used. Acrylic? Brand/color?
I used Tamiya Flat Flesh. Maybe with a touch of yellow. Works great.
That Titanic model is nothing short of AWESOME! I'm not new to scale modeling, as I did it as a teen, but am going to resurrect my old hobby in a few days. I think I'll start with models of WWII aircraft like the Mustang and Spitfire first just to wet my feet and take it from there. Congratulations on a fantastic build.
Thank you :)
i visited in march 12 2024. the animation of the sinking is impressive for CGI, but tragic for imagery
Our cousin Hannah Naughton lost her life on the Titanic
Very cool.
Very nice and enjoyed the video
I remember this toy… never had it myself but still it’s nice 👍
I had an original as a kid . I kept immaculately along with my James Bond Aston. Wish i still had them.
That was one of my favorite toys I had as a kid.I had the BatBoat as well, you could hook it to the batcar trailer hitch.
I'm still waiting for mine. I wonder if all of them have tinted windows. I also had the original matt version at one point.
Hope they make man from uncle piranha
Why is the Robin figure look like he is wearing a headband ? ... It's really odd looking ! 🤔
It looks to me like and extreme short back and sides😀
Robin looked like that back in the 1960s as well!! I had one for a Christmas pressie back in '66; still got it, though Robin went missing ages ago! I have the regular one also from the Corgi website, and have the Club Special version on its way too. The actual die-cast parts are spot-on when compared to the original - according to the Corgi Workbench Blog, they digitally scanned (LIDAR) one of their original models to recreate the tooling for this new one; it worked beautifully! 👍🏻
@@stevesstuff1450 😀 I've just opened my new batmobile this morning, been waiting for a few months from pre-order, I just had to have this release...what a fantastic looking new model ! Owned the original in the late '60s...just reminds me of that time when I fired the rockets at the baddies!! Die-cast detail is great, including the figures and cockpit detail such as the Batphone and radar screen.
My favorite 1966 batman toy as a kid. I still have 4. Ideal 1966 Batcave, Ben Cooper Batman play suit, also were great.
Thanks for the review and comparison. What about the tires and rims? How closely do they compare to the original?
Pretty close...:)
@@themodelbench Note: Another RUclipsr pointed out that the certificate has an error; Dick Grayson is not the actor who played Robin. 😉
@@biggeo4762 I saw that! I wonder will they correct it?
How much is it?
@@cvtogate Aout 50 pounds...
Looks great, I need to snag one! Thanks for video!
Great overview. I received my one a couple of days ago. Compliments my original one magnificently.
Is there any way to buy scale decks any more? I see they’re unavailable on eBay and Amazon
Bro said "hi welcome im the model bitch"
Looks fantastic! I can't wait to get my hands on this kit!
Titanic was so beautiful ship!!!
Great video, where did you get the glue and uv light?
Quick question where did you bought the boats model I want to buy them
I bought them from KA..look them up..KA Titanic upgrade set..:)
Do you know what would be the price for 1:100 titanic model very detailed and accurate.
I don't..
What is the price for this model if someone wants to buy it.
It’s costs about $500 ..
@@themodelbench Thanks for answer. Do you know what would be the price for 1:100 scale titanic model very detailed and accurate.
@@huseinokugic6339 That would be about 3 m in length. I would be surprised if models of this size are even available to buy. Would probably be better to build from scratch.
Just a shout out to say thank you! I've really enjoyed the build. I'm currently working on my own trumpeter titanic model and you've given me lots of inspiration! Thanks again! Tim in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. 😊
Epic collection & this Batmobile is the jewel 💎 in any collection
Hope the build's going well, looking forward to an update!
Going good..hopefully have the next part up soon..:)
You should add "ASMR" to the title 👍☺️
Amazing! Are the figures in scale? Where you got them? Thanks
Yes they are. I got them with an upgrade kit. Look for KA upgrade 👍🏻
