Great Job & GREAT RESULT!! I have the same kit (and many of the same add-on parts), still in the box. Your videos are an INSPIRATION for me to get going on the project - as well as a FANTASTIC GUIDE! Many Thanks for taking the time to create and post your videos!
Nice job! I just finished my Seaview model and will be starting my Nautilus. I bought the kit 2 years ago on eBay from the UK because it wasn't available Masterpiece Models for a long time. Unfortunately, I spent a LOT of money for it. I was able to reach out to Bob Martin just after he discontinued all his Nautilus parts. He was so nice and just asked me what I wanted and was able to get it for me, including the interior kit! I watched his videos on his build and now yours. It's really too bad that all that interior work is not entirely visible, but you know what it looks like, and I can appreciate the tremendous effort you put into it. Once again, nice job.
Thanks a lot ! In between I learnt that "historians" do not agree with the length of the Nautilus. It seems that J Vernes mentioned in his❤ book a far greater dimension than that of Disney. From what I understand a 16" is thus roughly equivalent to 1/144 ... thus giving some clues to select the right accessories !!
What is the length of this model .... and to which scale it is (well I must admit that I do not know what is the 1:1 length of Disney Nautilus !). Excellent work ... congratulation !!!
