Air intakes are best when you start hitting 400 and up range. Anything before that is just for the noise from the turbo and to help feed the turbo a little more air for a quicker spool. They are great, but you don't notice the power until the 400 range
You should do a video comparing high flow cats and catless exhaust sounds and then same thing with resonator delete to compare loudness and maybe a power difference as well. Love the videos man!
I just put a K&N in my stock housing and i think it’s perfect
Nice video ! I’m afraid to add cold air to mine for the possibility of being pulled over and asked to pop the hood, and getting a state ref. I’m in SoCal so getting pulled over with a loud car is almost an instant open hood request lol currently on stock air box with k&n drop in, keep up the videos !
I am actually also in SoCal but in San Diego county, I've been pulled over once in this car but they didn't ask me to pop the hood thankfully since they weren't pulling me over for my car being modified lol. And I've driven by many cops that just seem to not care about modified cars in my area. But yeah that is always a risk with putting an intake. But thanks! Glad you like the videos

@@InlineSixAuto Mishimoto makes a CA C.A.R.B. compliant CAI. It comes with a sticker that you place on the intake and the CHP, DMV, etc..can’t penalize you for it.
are you not allowed to do anything on ur car in the state?
@@Luuuugn pretty any sort of modification is illegal lol but cops mostly care about engine mods or loud exhaust. I have gotten a ticket for window tint and no front plate before also

May I ask, Why did you choose the CTS intake over others? Have you had any CEL with the install? Im looking for a decent intake setup for my N55.
I just liked how it looked mainly compared to others but they all are identical in function and sound from what I've seen. Also I've never had any CEL or any issues at all with mine. However I've seen some people experience issues in loss of power or CEL with theirs so it really just depends on the car since it seems like some engines don't respond well with intakes.
