@@Demonera07 do you read japanese history before watching anime? Korean history before k-drama? american history b4 hollywood? lol your comment makes no sense 😂
I really don't understand how people just can't accept that two men can be friends like Ram and Bheem in this movie. But NO most people see them as a gay couple (who are forced to have interest in women) in today's sick world, where men can't be close friends without being thought of as gay in this twisted society, at least in India and other parts of the world there are still people who think normally.
Yes u are 100% correct, Nowadays world are getting sick by mind... Two Bros can share a deep and beautiful relationship like friendship. It is really very very common in India🇮🇳 .. Here u will get many great Bros.. friendship story, here we never thing like that( gay things,. Or and romantic type of relation., ) these are all Western things!
I rewatched this last night and still love it. I wish Netflix had the original Telegu, but even the English dub holds up. Every song is a banger, but I adore the credits song that honors the revolutionary leaders of India. RIP to Ray Stevenson.
The bromance here is beyond levels. The prime cinematic example that comes to mind is the bromantic finale of _Zorba the Greek_ : "Boss, I have so much to tell you. I never loved a man more than you."
The Governor is Ray Stevenson, who just passed on the 21st, also played Volstagg in the "Thor" movies and Titus Pullo in the HBO series "Rome" (must watch) RIP. The wife is Allison Doody, who is Dr. Elsa Schneider from "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade"
The best thing about RRR is it's re-watchability , there are so much epic action sequences way over the top and so creative so much emotions I saw this movie maximum number of times
@@sahilsahu4323 100+ times here and I'm not kidding, you can get it from my name. 10+ times in theatre, 6 times in India, 4 times in la, usa. 50+ times in mobile. 30+ times on TV(didn't saw whole movie each time) And 10-20+ with yt reactors.
13:05 that visual symbolism of both characters, fire and water literally collided in that scene and at that exact clasping of hands in the background u see both Fire and Water. There are so many such character symbolisms in the movie that go over the heads of general audience!! they think it's just a popcorn flick.
Love that you are promoting international film on your channel and would be thrilled to see more reactions. I will resist a laundry list of directors and just say, seek out Akira Kurosawa from Japan. A master whose films are also endlessly entertaining. Seven Samurai, Ran, Throne of Blood, Hidden Fortress, Rashomon, High & Low, Ikiru - There is no wrong place to start.
"Why didn't he write her for 4 years?" Ram takes his deep cover seriously, and is hiding his real identity from the British Army. Writing to Seetha could have compromised him before he was ready.
3:02 Speaking of calculations I find, this movie had inflation in it. When Ajay Devgan is reciting to the villagers about how Scott pointed out the value of a British bullet to him, he says Scott said the Bullet was worth six shillings. About twenty years later the bullet is worth one pound sterling.
Regarding the attire in India being so much prettier than Western wear: A few years ago, I ordered several salwar kameez, each with dupatta (Google and you'll see what I mean) from a couple of merchants in India who stitched them for me. Now I'm afraid of "cultural appropriation" by wearing them, but dammit, they're so beautiful. (I opted for salwar kameez rather than sari, since they're more wearable in the U.S. because they look like beautiful tunics and soft pants.) I don't know...I wish I'd thought things through before I ordered them, but I just fell in love with this apparel. I do wish I felt more comfortable wearing them. Anyway...I totally agree. I wish the West had adopted these styles as well.
If it makes you feel more comfortable wearing it, as an Indian, I shall grant you all the permission to wear the Indian clothes that you love, eat the Indian food you love and enjoy Indian art an culture that makes you happy. :) If anyone accuses you of cultural misappropriation, you can ask tell them your Indian friend has allowed you to do so and come and check here for proof. In return I ask that you just be respectful of the tradition and recognize the heritage of where all these came from and if possible try to learn a bit more about it rather than only superficially adopting it. Cheers.
honestly, Indians love seeing their culture being respected and wearing our traditional apparel is one way to do it. None of us will ever question you for wearing Indian clothes, we like seeing people from different cultures adopt our style. Few indians might even stop u to take pictures with them! so please go ahead and wear whatever you want cuz cultural appropriation is not a thing in India-- we don't believe that. in fact, it makes us feel more proud about our culture. Jai Hind!
@@flammulinavelutipes4517 First, Thank you for granting permission! Seriously, thank you! And I want to reassure you that I am not in the least bit superficial about these clothes or this culture. For the past nearly 15 years, I have steeped myself in learning everything I could about the beauty and depth of India's vastly diverse cultures - Sanatana Dharma, classical and popular dance, music, food, etc. - and I don't plan ever to stop. Deepest respect to you and your beautiful culture, yaar. xoxo
@@samhithavasamsetty360 You are wonderful. Thank you! Yes, I remember one day when I spent the day in NYC's so-called "Curry Hill" to visit a few grocery stores and a favorite gift store and to eat in a wonderful lunch spot. My waiter complimented me on my gold-colored kameez and teal salwar. It seemed to be sincere admiration. Another time, when I went to the big Diwali mela at the South Street Seaport in NY, my attire appeared to draw positive looks and I didn't feel self-conscious. However, was after these two events that the fear began to dawn that maybe I was just lucky in those first two instances, but that others may be offended. I'm so happy to read your comment. You must understand that in many cultures men have strong brotherly love and bonding that they hold hands and hug with zero sexual tension? India is one of them. Ram and Bheem share a deep friendship which may look gay to foreigners but it is a common sight in India. It is similar with women too. I remember talking to an American about my best friend (a girl) and the first thing he asked me was if I was a lesbian. Imagine my confusion. It was a new concept to me.
Here are some cultural explanations for some scenes in @RRRMovie if anyone is interested: RRR's song Naatu Naatu : 1. ruclips.net/video/NBxg_Pp3v7E/видео.html Bridge Scene: 2. ruclips.net/video/NHc-VSIyhBc/видео.html Ram's Entry Scene: 3. ruclips.net/video/4iEiY91SS2E/видео.html
As a Ram Charan fan, you may enjoy Rangasthalam from 2018. Not nearly as great as RRR but the first half or so is delightful. Ram plays a happy-go-lucky man who's partially deaf, known in his village as a bit goofy. There's some great dancing and music. The second half turns into a revenge drama that doesn't fit the first part in tone at all. But it's fun to see Ram play a very different character.
Yeah some of the action scenes are way beyond science but its fun also there are more film industries like Kollywood, mollywood and sandalwood (south india)
some trivias 1. they just get cramped in their legs remembering nacho nacho sequence 2. they announce in the RRR making video BIGGEST INDIAN ACTION BLOCKBUSTER FILM GONNA TAKE THE WORLD SOON and it actually did and music in that video also epic 5. they are actually friends for 20 years now 3. just watch RRR theatre reaction you will go nuts 4. watch variance interview with RRR cast
India surpasses all other countries in annual movie production, with a diverse range of films catering to its vast population. This thriving industry embraces the country's linguistic diversity, as some movies are simultaneously made in multiple languages. Depending on the region and primary production language, these films are called Bollywood, Tollywood, Sandalwood, and various other regional film industries.

"I wanna know the ins and outs and background..." Ooh! Then I highly suggest looking up The Ramayana. RRR is a giant allegory of the Ramayana, and the song that plays when Ram rises with his bow directly references it.
Vkunia also I want to tell this kind of friendship between the men is so common in India they are very close u can see this in many movies that's just a cultural difference.
The beat on the ground has the same rhythm as Naatu Naatu song that’s how Ram knew that it was Bheem beating the ground to find him. Creativity level 🔥
52:16 person wearing glasses in background was the one who started Azad Hind fauj against British He is our inspiration sir Subhas Chandra Bose🫡 And at 52:34 he is none other than Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who fought against the Mughal Empire and form Maratha empire ❤
Cinematically and just plain old fun... this film is incredible. But above that, technically, this movie is a masterpiece. It is a visual effects master class. You would not believe the visual effects shots in this movie if you didn't see them doing breakdowns of them. The big dance? That's a vfx shot. Oh they actually danced it, but they danced it slower so that they could get their timing absolutely perfect. They then cut the two of them out of the shots and sped their dancing up, individually matching the two of them up frame by frame to be perfectly in sync. They also used this to introduce them going into slow motion mid dance for a few seconds at a time several times. Because you'll see them drop into slow motion but no one else does. It's an insane amount of work for that dance, on TOP of the incredible talent those two had just dancing it in the first place. When Ram is chasing the guy at the start before the train derails... that zoom out from the crowd to that huge wide shot is 100% digital. The bridge and train derailment is a massive amount of CGI mixed with enough practical miniatures to sell it. A real train car on real fire falling into a water set, the kid and his little raft are real, etc. The camera inside barbed wire coils with them on either side, cgi. The burning tire. CGI. NONE of the animals in the film are real. Not a single one of them. They are all 100% digital. (Not like background birds, etc). This film has hundreds more VFX shots than Avengers Endgame had. It's truly crazy.
The raid; redemption. It's an Indonesian action film about a S.W.A.T. team who gets trapped in an apartment complex ran by a crime lord they went there to arrest. They soon find out that there operation is off the books and help isn't coming. With most of there men dead and zero back-up, the team has no choice but to fight through the crime lord's private army to survive.
This Is how the British were and worse back In those days. Still for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and many other crimes, Britain has still made no official apology. I think.
A lot of English people supported our fight for the independence. We were not fighting English people, we were fighting English empire. We love anybody who respects us. That is why we love you.
Indian cinema is a wildly different beast compared to other films. Having been raised watching Indian movies (as well as Hollywood ones) as a kid was an interesting experience. If you are ever interested in diving into more Indian movies, I highly urge you to give the following movies a try: 3 IDIOTS, LAGAAN, DIL CHAHTA HAI, and the films directed by Mani Ratnam (especially NAYAGAN, THALAPATHI, DIL SE, GURU (2007), PONNIYIN SELVAN Parts 1 and 2, IRUVAR, and KANNATHIL MUTHAMITTAL).

@51:26, bheam asks to learn how to read and write. I never noticed that before. so many of us take school and literacy for granted. also interesting as india is quickly developing. they have a current literacy rate of 75% which is pretty much between developed nation rates (90+%) and undeveloped nation (50-60%). (also really excites me about how AI could revolutionize schooling access across the world.)
40:56 probably bheem might have gave some signal to malli to jump down 45:05 because it's naatu naatu tune and also ram used it when he got bit by snake and he trying to call bheem

Yes, you are thinking right on 31:55, every scene have references of something(some are so culturally significant, we Indian loves this, Ram name is significant, Bhim name too, our two patriots story, our inside freedom fighting emotions, our hates towards disgusting colonials). And as an Indian I have very few friend like these, and yes sometimes my friend replaces my own brothers too. 41:01 - How did he know - there is downward land spot there. 49:59 this is not the Palace. The palace was the two door place where Bheem attacks with the animals. This is the Barracks the place where Ram had wanted to go into and oversee so that he could steal weapons for his village. So if he wanted to get into this building to steal weapons it would be okay to reason that most of that building would be filled with weapons. 🤷

I love the way she reacts to these Indian movies I mean yes there are many more foreign reactors but they are so freakin fake but she is so genuine with her reactions
32:31 no it actually needed to be this extra or else it wouldn't have got the recognition it got globally. You yourself would not have even heard of this movie if it was just made in Bollywood which has some restraints placed on their movies and tries a little to emulate Hollywood. Tollywood on the other end is this, and this is what people love. The over the top of it all is what makes RRR so appealing and once the people are reeled in by the egregiousness, they are then blown aways by the genuinely good and moving story. This movie could not and should have been made any other way then the way it was made. I say this as someone who has watched maybe one more South Indian Movie aside from RRR. This is Tollywoods appeal.
The subtitles are wrong or need to adjust for the correct timestamp in your movie. In that jail scene, Bheem is doing the beat of Naatu Naatu. That's how Ram recognizes him.

Every small detail in this movie is well planned and well executed... 7) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the mostmost convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect.... 8) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented, picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything.... 9) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there are many indian purana's references to the movie for sure but its not only sree ram's avatar, it is also about the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead bybritishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear... 10) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shoot a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being... b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly. c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves... d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors.... n many more... For your next Indian movie reaction, I recommend you to watch 'Kaithi (2019)' and 'Vikram (2022)' both are Tamil language films from Kollywood film industry. Watch Kaithi first and after that watch Vikram because both are part of the same cinematic universe. Yep, like MCU and DCEU in Hollywood, Tamil film industry now has a cinematic universe too. We call it LCU - Lokesh Cinematic Universe, and it consists of these two movies 'Kaithi' (2019) and 'Vikram' (2022). The director of both movies is 'Lokesh Kanagaraj' so the LCU was given by us fans. These two movies are super fun. You should definitely watch them!!!
It was the barracks and not the palace where ammunitions were... Palace is just fot their stay ...criminals and ammunitions were all kept in a separate barracks

Because lot of people lacks loyalty and true friendship and t hey never seen such sacrifice
I rewatched this last night and still love it. I wish Netflix had the original Telegu, but even the English dub holds up. Every song is a banger, but I adore the credits song that honors the revolutionary leaders of India.
RIP to Ray Stevenson.

He was the greatest Blackbeard
He was also in Thor i think
Also briefly in Dexter

The bromance here is beyond levels. The prime cinematic example that comes to mind is the bromantic finale of _Zorba the Greek_ : "Boss, I have so much to tell you. I never loved a man more than you."

13:05 that visual symbolism of both characters, fire and water literally collided in that scene and at that exact clasping of hands in the background u see both Fire and Water. A master whose films are also endlessly entertaining. Seven Samurai, Ran, Throne of Blood, Hidden Fortress, Rashomon, High & Low, Ikiru - There is no wrong place to start.
"Why didn't he write her for 4 years?"
Ram takes his deep cover seriously, and is hiding his real identity from the British Army.

@Vukina
Here are some cultural explanations for some scenes in @RRRMovie if anyone is interested:
RRR's song Naatu Naatu : 1. ruclips.net/video/NBxg_Pp3v7E/видео.html
Bridge Scene: 2. ruclips.net/video/NHc-VSIyhBc/видео.html
Ram's Entry Scene: 3. ruclips.net/video/4iEiY91SS2E/видео.html
I have heard it said that Bollywood and Tollywood films are basically live action anime movies.
Yeah some of the action scenes are way beyond science but its fun also there are more film industries like Kollywood, mollywood and sandalwood (south india)

Ooh! Then I highly suggest looking up The Ramayana. RRR is a giant allegory of the Ramayana, and the song that plays when Ram rises with his bow directly references it.

"The British are over the top in this film."
Are you talking about "RRR", or "The Patriot"?
The beat on the ground has the same rhythm as Naatu Naatu song that’s how Ram knew that it was Bheem beating the ground to find him. Creativity level 🔥
Also the same rhythm when Ram tries to get Bheem's attention in the street after the snake bite

8:14 Vkunia confused about tigers gender is so cute
The raid; redemption. It's an Indonesian action film about a S.W.A.T. team who gets trapped in an apartment complex ran by a crime lord they went there to arrest. They soon find out that there operation is off the books and help isn't coming. With most of there men dead and zero back-up, the team has no choice but to fight through the crime lord's private army to survive.
This Is how the British were and worse back In those days. Still for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and many other crimes, Britain has still made no official apology. I think.

Nutshells off RRR MOVIE
RRR(Rise -Roar -Revolt) Telugu film Industry,India.(Tollywood)
1) Time period of 1920 yr.. True, Real Freedom fighters, seeta rama raju from andhra pradesh state and Komuram bheem from telangana statess, in history both of them Raju and bheem were from same timeline but never met each other in reality, in original history they both went missing for 4 years during this 1920 time period, no one knows where they went and what they did, but after 4 years they both returned to their villages and fought their own fights and both sacrificed their lives for our country, Director rajamouli hv woven a fictional story that what happens if they met each other, and exchange their ideas and ideologies in the time period they went missing... That's how this movie was born.... This movie is about India's freedom from british rule,
2) whole story concept revealed instantly with an a logic instant ideas applying to the scenes,
On Train blast incident, Ramraju catches a flag (a strong will for freedom mission resembles a Flag) n Komuram Bheem save a child (resembles as saviour to get back a girl , mission of Bheem ) exchanged by them, their missions..n finally they complete their Goal Togeather..
2) In RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones....
..
Rrr released in more than 10languages across the world..
Telugu is original version
TELUGU FILM INDUSTRY,(Tollywood), Hyderabad City (Bhagyanagari),2 Telugu States ,India. (Telangana n Andhra Pradesh states)
3) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence....
That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", few non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing....
4) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣
5)near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏

49:59 this is not the Palace. The palace was the two door place where Bheem attacks with the animals. So if he wanted to get into this building to steal weapons it would be okay to reason that most of that building would be filled with weapons. 🤷

@45:02 it is the same beat ram played in the dance party, when the ram goes to Bheem after snake bite
Here is a suggestion if you love RRR a lot, is URI the surgical strike. It is based on a real story, and a lot like RRR.
Ala vaikantupurmalo is second highest grossing movie in tollywood after bahubali even bigger than rrr u can watch it an have good time u will feel relax sister
You actually say things just like your username.... 🙂🤣

And in which parallel universe, Ala Vaikun.... is bigger than RRR? 🙂🤣

Since you are expanding into non-English films can I recommend “Kung Fu Hustle” and “Shaolin Soccer” by Stephen Chow!!! Both are amazing!

Nutshells off RRR MOVIE
(Rise -Roar -Revolt) Telugu film Industry,India.(Tollywood)
This movie is about India's freedom from british rule,
deologies in the time period they went missing... That's how this movie was born.... This movie is about India's freedom from british rule,
2) whole story concept revealed instantly with an a logic instant ideas applying to the scenes,
On Train blast incident, Ramraju catches a flag (a strong will for freedom mission resembles a Flag) n Komuram Bheem save a child (resembles as saviour to get back a girl , mission of Bheem ) exchanged by them, their missions..
6) In a scene where they show the security measures of the palace they had 2 doors at entrance, only after closing the 1st door they will open 2nd door, if we observe both the doors clearly and also if we listen to the creek sounds of both doors, we would know the outer door is a wooden one, and the inner door is a metal one, so to rescue malli they can break the outer door but they can't break the inner door, that's the reason y the character jhangu climbs a tree and listens for the 2nd door to open to rescue malli in interval scene...
In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shoot
a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being...
b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly.
c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves...
d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....
n many more...

Bromance is actually a thing in South Asia. We will die for friends.
International films? I got 2 off the top of my head: Salaam Bombay! (India) and Nuovo Cinema Paradiso (Italy). Ball's in your court VKunia. 😎
32:25 "Sita has always been in Ram's corner." you don't know what this means to us 😊Jai Siya Ram🙏
That was armery and not the palace in the ending 😢😢
😂
please no understand her taste she is not into dark stuff
lcu is good but not for her she is a bubbly girl
I would recommend the Norwegian movie "Troll Hunter", an excellent comedy/horror 'found footage' movie.
you can watch GUNDAY that too a great bromance Indian movie
It was the barracks and not the palace where ammunitions were... Palace is just fot their stay ...criminals and ammunitions were all kept in a separate barracks
