@@johnprink6293 to be honest, I haven't benched to a heavier weight in a long time. This was my first time using this type of scheme. I competed in powerlifting and strongman for 40 years and I always did five sets of five. I used bands chains stuff like that but I retired in 2019 due to covid pandemic b******* so I just decided to retire and I went on to doing more functional training. CrossFit boxing stuff that I miss doing today was just for fun. To be honest using the slingshot and it was just all fun
@@kevinblanchette1971 I powerlifted for 20 years retiring at 46 years old. It's too much on your body after a while. I was a lighter lifter 165 and 181 classes. In my 60's now and strength dropped significantly as I got older. In my 50's thing's were OK on strength, but once I got to 60...holy shit did my strength drop off! I keep plugging along though. Hang tough! I enjoy the videos!
Nice work 💪🏿 💯
@@strengthtrainbettermortality thank you 🙏

Get some rest, and Hit er again!
Stay strong!
@@Truckster1 I appreciate it. Yea this in my book was way too many reps especially on the bench . But it was a challenge So I accepted it.
Kevin is Tuff as nails.
@@j.r6656 LMFAO 😂 thanks 😂
Kevin, how often are you bench pressing using that routine?
