    What do you think about the new LED technology for Black Lights?

    • @jurtaman

      No warm up time and more efficient.. Who wouldn't love LED! I've been looking for a filtered 365nm panel led like 50-100w. All i can find is unfiltered. Should I just make my own or have you heard of any filtered panels for sale?

      @@jurtaman I agree! Unfortunately I don’t know any places, I haven’t really searched but I would guess some type of glass place could probably do it, but might be expensive!

    I just ordered the ADJ Products UVLED48 Startec Blacklight Bulb, 48 and I was thinking about taking their lightbulb out and replacing it with the wildfire LED one the one you’re advertising do you think it will work? Before I order the wildfire LED tube they look the same. Just need a fixture to put it in. And I was thinking that would do. I’m using text to speech I don’t know how to spell very well and I hope you could read this. But I mainly bought the thing for the fixture. I don’t need their LED tube just the one from the wildfire.

    • @UVBlackLights
      @UVBlackLights  6 месяцев назад

      I’m not sure how that fixture is built, but if it’s line voltage only it should work with the wildfire SableLED.

    Thank you for your videos. I watched them with zero clue on what I should get. Based on what I wrote above and your videos. I should buy...
    *Lights with visible light cause I wont have thinhs specific black light reactive items like posters or items painted.*

    Also a recommendation of black lights to purchased would be much obliged?

    Hi, I plan on painting a wall in my son’s bedroom as a fake brick wall. I was thinking of using fluorescent paint for the grout lines that looks a creamy white in regular light, but then glows blue under a black light. Would I have the same issue as your globe in this video or will it glow just fine with a standard black light? Also can I get away with a CFL type bulb instead?

    • @UVBlackLights
      @UVBlackLights  3 года назад +1

      @emanuel torres Sounds like your painting with fluorescent white? If so, you won't have any issues. The paint I used on my globe ball was invisible clear paint, which needs 365nm in wavelength to react. If it's just 1 CFL bulb, you might have coverage issues. Be careful of cheap knockoffs from like Walmart or Home depot.

    Hi there, I have spent the day watching videos and surfing the web. I keep coming back to you. I can't tell you why as I have read and listened to lots today but don't fully comprehend.
    I am seeking a few lights for display cases. I have LED blacklight strips but they put off too much light. Flourescent puts off too much heat for my liking, for enclosed spaces.
    I am assuming you work for the company selling the lights you reveal here as they are too rich for my blood, ha.
    I wish...
    So, if I seek a low white light am I looking for a low watt from the bulb apart from the electricity? Sorry, I lack understanding the terminology well enough to use it. I would butcher the language, haha! I don't think people add the light output aside from the amount of electricity. I hope you can grasp what I am trying to say. If I have a 3 way bulb to give out 20, 40 and 60 watts it means I increase or decrease the electricity to work the filament. Blacklights don't work that way. But the white light that is sent out as a violet color can light up a room in violet light. Yours don't because? It has the woods glass, I understand that as it's common in medical practice but still, light passes through. In your video here, it's dark in that room! So, it's due to a lower amount of white light watts? Lol. Sorry, if I am causing confusion. Trying to understand what I seek so I hopefully find it in my price range. Thank you for your time, humorist me and your consideration.

    • @grinninmoon3956
      @grinninmoon3956 Год назад

      Someone just explained that what I might be looking for are lumens and that 0.5 or less is what I might seek. I display minerals and other earthy things as well as antique glass containing minerals that cause glowing of reds, oranges, greens and blues.

    • @UVBlackLights
      @UVBlackLights  Год назад

      @@grinninmoon3956 Well my room looks alot darker than it really is due to the camera, it doesn't catch all the light if that makes sense. But, to cut out as much visible purple light you want to use 365nm wavelengths, anything in the 375-400nm wavelength you'll get all the purple visible light. If you haven't already, this video explains the wavlength ruclips.net/video/t10pXsKqyDg/видео.html
