Watching this made me feel truly grateful for how lucky so many of us watching are to have a safe and secure place to live, sleep, access to water, food, clean clothes. This reminds me of when I summited a 6000m mountain in Bolivia and everything in my body was telling me to give up, I almost collapsed from dizziness and fatigue due to oxygen deprivation, with risks of avalanche and falling off sheer cliffs with nothing but a pickaxe, my three companions tied to me with a rope walking in single file and crampons to prevent my doom. And you showed the importance of people, helping each other and providing encouragement is how we all get through some of the most difficult physical challenges of our life. If it wasn't for the help and constant motivation to keep going of others, I could have possibly died. Thank you Bald for your incredible documentation of these challenging experiences, I felt like I was there with you.

This is easily the most engrossing Baldi video I've seen yet. This is next level stuff. We all know he has some balls but man, this is something else. What struck me as I watched through this video is that they must both have made connections with the people they were sharing the experience with - you can't go through all that together and not make a bond. It's something none of us can imagine without having done it. And sure enough Ben mentions this himself, towards the end. It seems unlikely he will know the fate of his fellow travellers but it's a small world and I would love to know in future if they met again. I truly hope that those people found better lives for themselves and their families. Baldi, thank you for sharing this incredible journey !

B&B, you guys get every bit of the respect I have to give after 44 years of living. I have watched RUclipsrs travel to many of the most dangerous places on earth. Places where just having fair skin alone can get you harassed, assaulted, detained, questioned, locked up, robbed, and even murdered. Had you made this trip alone and not had the company of a fluent Spanish speaker, I don’t think you would have made it. At the least it would have increased the difficulty of the trip by 10, at a minimum. It shocks me how many women with young children in tow attempt to make this trip. God has to have his hand on them the entire way. I don’t know how much you made off doing this trip, if anything at all. You should have regardless!! The courage to undertake this journey is monumental!! Thank you for sharing this and I am glad you and your partner made it in one piece!!

I've been watching you since your first video, supporting you on Patreon ever since, and I never thought you could surpass your earlier content, but this is not just gold - it's diamond quality. I've watched many Darien Gap documentaries, but all of them felt staged or like guided tours. This, however, is the most authentic I've ever seen on RUclips.

Woah. This isn't a travel vlog but, like, real journalism. It's soul-crushing to see so many children make this dangerous trip because you know those at the greatest risk of disease, drowning, and injury. Even when folks make this trip, they're not even close to the US. This was hard to watch and I teared-up several times at the shots of children, who so closely resemble my own. There are better days ahead for Venezuelans, eventually.

Venezuela has more oil than Saudi Arabia! Venezuelans could be the richest people in the world per capita. But, the Western warlords have imposed crippling sanctions on the country and made the currency worthless, forcing the people to flee or live in complete misery. Why? ..because the Western warlords want all that oil for free like they did in Iraq, Libya, etc. Whether Bald acknowledges it or not, his country, the UK is one of the countries with a direct hand in the orchestrated misery of the Venezuelan people.

And I am Mexican and I know what life is like in LATAM, and it is true that in almost all countries, you can live decently if you work. I live near the train, and every day I hear of people falling on the tracks and losing limbs, including children.

Yeah they are humans, and the countries they are invading and taking advantage of also have humans. If you do not have borders and let anyone in to your country your economy suffers especially when millions of tax dollars go towards programs to give these people smart phones and bus them across the United States. The majority of them develop ghettos and the majority of them do not see themselves as Americans because they want to cash a check in America and then leave at the expense of American citizens. They do not care about you, you think you are virtuous by helping them but most of them would kill you for $1,000.
