I worked security for forty niners games while in college. I worked the sideline on the field right directly behind the giants sideline. I remember Bart Oates tossed by accident a cup of ice water that hit me . He apologized. But no biggy . I was just glad to see how big and talented the giants were . I took a glance at LT . What a big ,slim , fast athlete! He was a beast ! But so was Ronnie Lott and the niners defense. What a night to remember! It was a MNF game !

I'm a WFT fan but IMO LT was hands down the greatest defensive player to ever play the game. He'd line up over the middle, on the end with his hand in the dirt, drop back in coverage sometimes - the guy was all over the place and you couldn't stop him. We would have probably been in more Super Bowls back then had it not been for him. He was that dominant in games. The Giants wouldn't have had the same level of success without him. He was that good.
