Just found you. Watched a bazillion of videos on this topic, but you stand out for sure. Plenty of info but very to the point, so it doesn't go on forever.
I just recently found your channel, and let me say, I’m very impressed. Your tanks are very different from something like what Fish For Thought or Aquarium Co-Op would do, having few plants and large artificial decorations, but somehow you pull it off. Not only are your tanks so blatantly different that I can’t help but like them, but your knowledge and ability to share it in a fun and entertaining, yet educational, manner is of such high quality that I’m shocked you don’t have more subscribers. I hope you keep up the amazing work and continue to share the aquarium hobby in such a noble and unique way.
Thanks! 👍 I really enjoy all my tanks as well as sharing them all. More fish will be coming soon too. 😉 I wanted throw out some new suggestions that I thought would be mentioned as often on other channels to hopefully give some fish keepers some new ideas.
Thank you very much for the kind words and support! 😊 I try to keep the tanks looking nice. Plenty of content on the way. There's a new big tank coming soon. 😉👍
Hi Austin, I’ve been watching you for a while now and I really like what you do. You’re genuine, informative, funny and likeable. You also keep some very cool fish (I have a fahaka too 😊). I only have one criticism - when you’re filming yourself your footage is always soft and fuzzy. I’m assuming you’re using a phone? But your shots of your tanks are crystal clear (on my phone at least). I think your channel would really grow if you sorted out your fuzzy footage. I hope you do because I think your channel deserves to be much bigger than it is. Take care buddy and I look forward to your next video 😊
@Chow With Lau Thank you for the kind words as well the critique. I'm always looking for ways to improve my overall content. :) I do indeed use my phone which a bit of an older one. I have noticed this fuz myself and am trying figure ways to fix this or at least improve upon it. I think the biggest contributing issue to that is my lighting or lack of it in my basement, thus I'm thinking of ways of how to possibly add more lights which I think at least would improve things. Thanks again for the compliments and insights. These things help me understand better what my audience sees and thinks. Also how big is your Fahaka and how long have you had him/her? Stay Fintastic Lau! 🐡👍
@@FintasticFreaks You’re welcome! I’m really glad you took my comments in the right way, it’s so easy to misinterpret what people are saying on social media. I love watching your videos anyway for all the reasons I listed before. I just feel that more people would watch and subscribe to you if your visuals were just a little better. I think I like watching you also because you keep fish the way I would like to (I only have 5 tanks myself) so it feels like watching someone who has similar ways of thinking. I’ve had my Fahaka since November 😊 He’s (or she) closing in on 6 inches and is definitely my favourite fish. He’s so personable and always comes to greet me 😄 I think I found your channel when I was researching how to keep fahakas, and obviously you and Finley came up in my search 😊
Not with me it hasn't. When the angels are younger you can usually make it work. I've taken them out since, as the angels have grown considerably now and I'm sure they would have been able to fit those cardinal tetras in their mouths now otherwise. It's a pity though. I think they're a beautiful combination.
For a fifty five gallon, I wouldn’t do more then three or four of the smaller types of goldfish, think ryukins and butterflies. I would stay away from bigger variations like commons and comets unless you are growing them out in it. Although this may seem like a limited number of fish, if you are able to keep your water quality up, you could easily keep other species of fish that do well with goldfish like hill stream loaches, rice fish, and white cloud mountain minnows.
I’m gettin’ major early to mid 90s vibes from this video I swear this looks like it could’ve been filmed 30 years ago especially at the very beginning of the video💀😂
Love my 55,s. Can do so much with them! Excellent video 😁
It is an awesome tank, lots of possibilities. 👍

Something about the color of guppies and platties has always caught my attention. Great looking fish as always. 👍

In my 55 i have one angelfish, 12 neon tetra, a few platys and a bristlenose. In my 75 i have a pleco, a few swordtails, and a bloodparrot
Sounds like a couple of great looking tanks! :)
I notice you have neons in with your angel fish? I have heard the neons end up becoming snacks... has that happened in your experience?

Could you do Goldfish? If so how many do you think? I love them I know they get a lot of hate but I think they are sl pretty

What is the plant you have growing at the top of tank in barb tank?
That looks like hornwort floating in the community tank with cherry barbs.

Yeah I had a sub-par camera at that time. 😅 Somethings have definitely changed for the better.
