I first used trackers when I was a kid on my amiga and I recently built a dirtywave m8 headless on one of these cheap retro handheld consoles and although it's not ideal for recording midi data into, the actual werkflo is the fastest and most intuitive for programming beats that I have used on a tracker and I seem to get great results from it
M8 is phenomenal. The workflow is beyond genius. So fast. Only couple of buttons but no other grovebox come close. Of only it had more channels (16) and polyphonic sample player - it would be the end of all groveboxes
Super fun video!! Unfortunately it's confirmed that TE won't be there this year. So. I also heard now that the z field is set for later next year, pretty far off. I'm really hyped for the latest version of Orbita and the new Chromaplane at Superbooth this year. Also Love Hulten made a drum synth for commercial release that's there as well??
Thanks for sharing! Those look interesting indeed…that Love Hulten drum synth especially :) I'm somehow happy the OP-Z isn't out yet. Too many good samplers & sequencers here that I need to cull.
@@SONWU yeah i thought it was actually a super fun superbooth this year. i heard some other people saying it wasn't as exciting as last years but... i love it! also one thing to check out is the horizon synth by timeless garden... a whimsical raps collab
@@jaygilligan I'm sure it is fun! I really enjoyed SB when I was there last year…very nice people and fun gadgets! Although I can't imagine being a presenter for 3 days😂
Did you attend? There’s so much cool shit that I’m seeing very little attention on - Schlappi, TINRS, and Erica Synths alone released a bunch of cool gear. Voltage Lab 2 is a phenomenal design for the price. /shrug
@@SONWU I’m dying to catch it sometime but I’m west coast US so it’s also slightly far haha. The more footage I see come out this year the crazier shit I’m seeing. Seems like a good time.
have I said interesting & nice yet?
Nothing is catching my eye, kinda boring Superboof
The new behringer obx came out and it's flying
I have og m8 and it is the best sample mangling device that exists. You will love it.
I am sooo looking forward!
Red Shift 6 , Manatee, Twist FM synths all look and sound great. No sign of the MOOG Labyrinth! Oh and the Retrokits RK008 now eurorack form.
Twist FM looks really nice!

I hope they take their time and do it right!

Nope, went there only last year…too far from Japan :D But it's a great little festival

Seems kinda boring now that the Digitakt 2 is already out.
Yeah, so far I am not mega-hyped either…I wonder if anybody will pull an ace out!?
Yoo hype. Enjoy the M8 man. Its such a great tool.
Thanks! Looking forward to easily making music on the go with very little limitations :)
