I bought it last week and sold the DT1. I wanted a DT with 128 steps seq and bigger memory so I am happy now.
Thank you, I loved the examples.
I wasn't expecting another opinion. You have to sell more
Excellent work, sir! Never seen an Elektron device demoed so simply and casually. Hope this helps a lot of people cut to the chase and get the facts.
Good work, thanks.
I’m really looking forward to new firmware updates. For example having polyphony per channel - with it stealing voices from other channels like on the Digitone, it would be perfectly doable I think. A new machine like a granulator would be amazing. Also having recording trigs would be useful.
So digitakt 2 can only sample in stereo? so if you want mono smaples you would have load therm in as you can't sample in mono anymore only stereo? Is this correct?
Strech was not available on the OG Digitakt
Wish they would bring back Analog Keys
whoa
watching these videos until mines come in next week 😭
is there only one FX buss for 16 tracks?
welcome to elektron
This dude looks mad familiar...
He has that look
Ohh yess 😈
Now Elektron needs to update the Syntakt. I see those dotted lines in the shape of a square. I see those empty spaces. You can fill those in, Elektron, dont lie. Give it that chorus. Expand the sequencer to 128 steps, just change the led to a different color on the second half or something. I bet you could throw a global LFO on it and give it parity control all functionality too.
Elektron wants my tax refund!!
Elektron digitakt, look at that. I like a little hooded rat, and that’s a fact
You'se a fine sampler, won't you back that DAC up
You rich if you have both
No, you shouldn't. Not being able to properly slice your samples in 2024 on a 1k machine it's just a plain joke. Specially when OT has that feature and it's a plus10 years old piece of gear.
Its coming
Ehh there are super easy workarounds.. I wouldn’t be so mad about that, that’s my personal opinion
Can't you just make presets with different start points and p lock them? Auto Zero point crossing would be nice. This new digitakt is easier for them to code updates for so I imagine we will get new machines and upgrades more frequently. Would be surprised if they don't add manual slice.
totally agreed . This gear is overhype because it's ELEKTRON . This is not the best sampler in the market
@@arturpasco1246 why workarounds for such an important feature?? why being betastesters. why paying for an unfinished product?
No, don’t buy anything
And why?
And yet all I hear are the same 4 on the floor generic bullshit all over YT. Makes me wonder if the Digitakt appeals more to people with little if any musical talent who like the feeling of being clever for understanding it’s idiosyncratic workflow. All these tiresome fake ass gearfluencers with their crappola little jams…zzz
I’m curious about this machine, but it’s seems unclear what it wants to be.
It's a sampler, you can make whatever you want. The workflow might have a particular flavor, but it's honestly incredibly simple compared to a lot of hardware sequencers for how much it can do. You just have to think of it as a tracker laid our horizontally. In that way, the Elektron sequencer is one of the most intuitive trackers out there.
The „4 on the floor bullshit“ is not the problem of Elektron gear. You can make buring stuff with a Prophet 5, Minimoog or any other synths….
