Timothy Dalton is probably my favorite Bond. The intensity he brought to the role was incredible and I believe that his Bond is capable of all the things you see him doing throughout his two films.
Same here, he really played James Bond 007 as Ian Fleming wrote him in the original novels. I have posters for both The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill in my James Bond collection at home.
Licence To Kill is my favourite James Bond film and probably the closest to the book version of James Bond. I saw an interview with Robert Davi a few years ago and he told a story about being on holiday in South America when two men turned up at his motel room and escorted him to a huge house where a drug lord lived. Apparently, the drug lord had seen Licence To Kill and loved Davi's Sanchez. He congratulated Davi on playing the role so brilliantly. Now that has to be a compliment on your acting. :-)

This entry has always been a favorite of mine when it came out in 1989 and still is to this day.
MY FAVORITE BOND MOVIE!
(Yes. I said it)
I need to watch these Bond movies. I saw one or two of the newer ones with Craig but damn, this License to Kill looks like it has some great action. I'll have to get the collection and have a Bond marathon.
This might be my favorite Bond film too. 17:46 Just me or does that fish look a little like Tilda Swinton?
Timothy Dalton was a fantastic Bond and way ahead of his time. Both of his movies are great! And thank you for referencing the weird fish statues, I always wondered what was up with those?
One of the best Bond movies ever made
The best bond movie ever made.....its a shame Tim Dalton didn't make any more. He was a great bond and he made 2 great bond movies.
Not just one of my favorite Bond films, but one of my favorite movies period. It's only mistake was that it went dark before the world was ready.
Great video, Minty. I haven't seen this movie for over a decade, but I did like it a lot, so now I have an excuse to watch it again tonight after work.
I wish it were shot more cinematically. Because I love Timothy Dalton as the ruthless methodical 007, and Michael Kamen's sole score entry.
Robert Davi and Benicio Del Toro are great villians. Carey Lowell and Talisa Soto are delicious Bond Girls.
Unfortunately, it looks like a MacGyver episode.
But he's no John Barry

Same could be said in the reverse direction. And they're no Basil Poledouris. And he's no Shirley Walker. And she's no James Horner. And there's only one Jerry Goldsmith.
What's cool is that it sounds like a Michael Kamen score!
Very super nice minty 👍🏻!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favourite Bond and Bond movie of all time... Ta, Minty!
Thanks to this video, I decided to check this movie out. I've only seen about 15 of the Bond films, but this one easily makes it into my top 5 now. Thank you for the recommendation
Another bonus fact is that Talisa Soto and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa appeared in both this and in the first Mortal Kombat film.
Oh yeah your soul is mine.
I noticed that too. And i think liu kangs brother from the movie is also there
@@xingyimaster1987 Yeah he is. From what i hear MK was the first good movie based on a video game. "Super Mario Bros" came out two years prior (as the first video game adaptation movie) but it bombed like hell.
@@Gurra88 I thought the first "Doom" movie from 2005 was good too, but very underrated. and the "Silent Hill" movie from 2006 was pretty good too
