This is a good video I appreciate it, I'm not trying to down your install or your system but I put one eight in the back dash of my sonata 2018 and it is bumping way harder than your two tens. What are your problems with your two tens is that they are kickers they're not very good but your biggest problem is when you tapped into the stock radio speakers you should not have used that converter. If you tap into them straight it will work just fine with your amp and your speakers will actually be louder. What I did was I tapped it to the speakers and I made a wire that had two RCA's on the end and plugged them into my amp and that got my aunt bumping, by default for some weird reason the stock radio amp does not put out a strong enough signal for a high to low converter. Also I don't use fuses anymore I only use breaker boxes. If you're curious just look up my video it's the one with the eight installed in the back dash it's a red sonata 2018. Just give you some pointers, let your video was good and I appreciate you putting it out there.
Check out vvivid air release headlight/taillight tints i never did tinting lights but those tints are really forgiving and easy to use .. did it on my 2k19 Hyundai tucson and for the emblems you can use plasti dip totally up to you ..all are good for diy purposes
So on the rca you put the negatives together and the positives together and then put the rca wires to the negative and positive door speakers right???? Please
Hey I'm doing the same hook up to my Hyundai sonata 2018 on door what color speaker I'm I taping into with a line output converter speaker white and black same set as yours are you just into white and black witch one it negitive which one is positive
Sounds good but try avoiding using power outlet fuse for connection for remote and also run ur positive and negative now in line with each other and avoid using two rca connectors to same wires separate side needs space to aviod trebel
Yo I have a 2013 Sonata "wifes car" one day she just lost sound , radio still works, blue tooth connects everything works but ZERO sound. Any idea what it might be ?
There def is. Just looks horrible over the box like that. That amount of wire exposed on the amp is bad as well. The fuse tap looks tight on the wire as well.
I just got a 2021 and they actually seem very similar so this helps. Good and thorough video. I appreciate it.
Thank you!
What color are the speaker wires to wire in the rca converter
@@Jimmydeanmerica black and white
Without a Hi-Low adapter too? Dope fam. Good shit

Good job thanks for sharing
I like dark tail lights. The emblem and the letters. I wonder if i can tackle that by myself.

Yes you can tackle it all by yourself. I used plasti dip for the emblems and sprayed tint on the lights

Correct
Dude right please address this.
Black and white twisted pair? Or in the elabora I belive it's a white brown twisted pair? And what if you've got a line out converter
Hey man I have a 2017 sonata se, what cables and stuff do I need to buy to install an Amp, Sub and sound system In it?
What did you do about the ANC (active noise cancellation)??? I couldn’t complete my install because of it. Caused a ton of interference with my sub
I just got a 2020 Sanata and want to hook up my 20
Hey I'm doing the same hook up to my Hyundai sonata 2018 on door what color speaker I'm I taping into with a line output converter speaker white and black same set as yours are you just into white and black witch one it negitive which one is positive
I just matched the white together and the blacks together
Was that 1/0 gauge power? If so how was it running it down the kick panels
Eric Toth yes it’s 0 gauge wire. I pulled the panels off and the wire actually lays beside the existing electrical wires with no issues
Sounds good but try avoiding using power outlet fuse for connection for remote and also run ur positive and negative now in line with each other and avoid using two rca connectors to same wires separate side needs space to aviod trebel
Thank you for the pointers !
did your car have noise canceling? mine 2019 does and dont know how to remove it
Please tell me you figured this out. I’m having this problem as we speak
A yooo. Virginia in da house!
Yo what colors were the speaker wires for the left rear speaker?
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT WIRES AND COLORS YOU HOOKED THE RCA CONVERTER TO
Sorry I’m late it should be a skinny yellow wire and a skinny black wire
@@Blac_eli which one of the two goes to the red RCA wire and the black RCA wire?
Yo I have a 2013 Sonata "wifes car" one day she just lost sound , radio still works, blue tooth connects everything works but ZERO sound. Any idea what it might be ?
I’m not too for sure, maybe start with seeing if the fuses are good?
@@Blac_eli it was the AMP
Are they 12inch???
What color is the wire for the line out converter???
Black and white twisted pair I think 🤔 I'm trying to know the same thing though
Do you know what kind of speaker I could use to replace my drivers door speaker? I have the infinity sound system in a 2012 sonata.
Does that back seat have to stay down like that or does it still work if you put the seat back up?
Everything works with the seat up
Can you do this with a Hyundai elantra
That power cable across the engine could look a lot better, and be hidden more it looks just wrong. But just my opinion.
You think I could run 1000 watts in this ?
Yes that’s what size amp I’m using
Where did you get stereo harness for plug and play
I ordered one from Amazon
On the passenger side which speaker wires are positive and negative
Did you ever figure out which ones are it
@@toxicheli8787 nope. I just took it to bestbuy and had it installed.
There has to be a better way to run that wire
There def is. Just looks horrible over the box like that. That amount of wire exposed on the amp is bad as well. The fuse tap looks tight on the wire as well.
Who ordered spaghetti?
