This acrylic kit was $6 when I purchased it, but it is now $7 with the 29% coupon code (not my code) on amazon, the link below is a direct link to the Amazon listing. These acrylics worked wonderfully, just like most Born Pretty products have and are gorgeous. The pink in this kit is absolutely gorgeous and the clear is crystal CLEAR. These are definitely worth checking out whether you're a beginner or advanced with acrylic. They apply smooth and don't marble at all. I love Born Pretty products and have been using them for a very long time now, they're great quality and you can't beat the price. Let me know what you think of todays video down in the comments or if you have any questions guys! Also, let me know if you have any tips, tricks or anything you'd like me to try out because I love trying new things! As always guys, I appreciate you all so very much and thank you for spending time with me today!
Xoxo,
Haley

The flower nail is my fave. You made it look so easy. You have def inspired me to try it out.
Heck yes! That's awesome, let me know how it turns out 😀 xoxo. I appreciate you!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us Haley 😊 such a bargain this kit is and a pretty set. Indexfinger is me fav 😍
Thank you for being here! I think that one is my fave too! Great minds think alike! Xoxo 😘
Stunning . I love them all but i think index is my favorite. ❤😊
Yeah, that one was probably my favorite on these ones also! I hope you're having a wonderful Monday! 💛 Xoxox I appreciate you so much
I have flat nails too so this video is a great example for me to try!!
Yes, I hope it helps you in some way! I appreciate you spending time with me today. You are awesome! Xoxo
@@HaleyDawn85 I appreciate your help!
I appreciate you!! Xoxox
My nails are sooo flat, too! Sometimes, the first day or two after I've applied extensions, the sides of my fingers get sore. It eventually goes away, but it took me a minute to figure out it was the c-curve of the nail. Thank you for mentioning it.
Absolutely! It took me a long time when I first started doing nails to figure it out lol. I always thought "Damn Haley you're rough when you apply your nails" 😄 Xoxoxo
Born pretty have such amazing products, the set came out so beautifully ❤ hope you are having a good day💗
I am having a good day so far, just started 😀 I hope yours is amazing also! Born Pretty is one of my favorite brands. I haven't found anything by them that I don't like. I appreciate you so much! Xoxo
@@HaleyDawn85thank youu and yes I had a good day❤❤
@@Dxl.oasiss yes! That's what I was hoping to hear!!! Xoxo
Omg thank you for being someone who doesn't believe in every nail the same length! Every set I do with tips the same length look off to me, I much prefer my pinky nail to be shorter. (Unless they are short sets of course)
Also where is that rhinestone e file from? So pretty! I have a lamp like that and would love to get one to match!
Hey giiirrrlllll. I was hoping I wasn't the only person who didn't do measured nails. All my nail beds are different lengths to begin with so if I do the tips measured out with magnets or anything like that some are always longer then others when I hold my fingers down in the palm of my hands. I can't stand it. My thumb nails and pinkys have to be shorter with my middle finger nail being the longest, lol. I love that you're the same way! My efile is a Lavinda Efile, I can't remember the name of it but if you search Lavinda efile on Amazon it should come up or if you can't find it let me know and I'll link it here for you 😀 sending you lots of love and kick ass vibes! I appreciate you, Mama! Xoxo
Your last haul, you showed a cube dappen dish, and i just got mine today. It's beautiful. Only $5.03.
Lol, you have a mind block to the word "iridescent" that's okay bc I stop mid sentence, a lot of the time and can't remember simple words. 😂
There it is!!!! I don't know whyyyyy I can never remember that word hahaha. Fackkkk. Hopefully I give you a good laugh everytike that happens 🤣 YES! That's so awesome you picked it up, isn't it beautiful? And the price... cannot beat that! Thank you for being here, I appreciate you so much. Xoxo
No, I don't laugh bc I have the same thing happen to me, and I feel so silly bc I can't remember the word I was about to say. And yes, I'm so excited to use my dappen dish.
Most people who use acrylic pinch their brush I'm just curious why you like it rounded? I found it more difficult to get in the cuticle area with it round.
@mariahjane7969i totally poctured you laughing your ass off at me, hahaha. I kind of go back and forth honestly. I have a few brushes that are crimped, and this brush is actually crimped just very lightly. I've found over the years the kolinsky hair actually lasts longer for me if I leave them in that shape with a small amount of monomer in there. I'll go times where I only want to use my super crimped, flat brushes and times where I don't want crimped, and the knes that aren't crimped just seem to last longer for me. That's the only reason, really. I'm fine applying acrylic with either. More for longevity really.
3:00 I didn't know you could do acrylic with dual forms!! Good to know!! ❤
Yeah, you do it like you would do the "lazy girl" method. You have to be quick with it though or the acrylic won't stick to your nails. It's a really good way to do your nondominant hand but it takes lots of practice. Xoxo
Girl, you make it look so easy and they are beautiful!!!!❤
Not as beautiful as you! Xoxo. I appreciate you being here, and thank you for the kind words! Acrylic is my first love when it comes to nails. After this long, it is pretty easy for me. Hopefully, I can show you guys things that make one thing or another a little easier for you guys. ❤️ I hope you have a wonderful weekend, sending you lots of love 😀
Im learning so much from your videos! My nails are extremely flat, too. Seriously, as flat as a ruler. My nails have no clue what an apex is.
😂. Please keep doing these videos!
You and me both. We are flat nail sisters!! Xoxox. I appreciate you so much Teresa! I hope you are having a beautiful day!
They turned out great ❤ a lot of great tips!
I'm so glad you liked it, I appreciate you! Xoxo
I love born pretty! ❤
Meet toooooo!! Xoxo
Love your videos so informative! Oh your nails look great too! Not bad for $6
You are too sweet! I'm so glad you like them, that means the world to me. You are so appreciated. Xoxox

That is one of the coolest compliments I have ever gotten, thank you so much!! 61 years young is EXACTLY RIGHT!! Thank you for being such a beautiful human being and spreading such kindness. You are appreciated!! Xoxox

Sending you lots of love girl! I'm glad you liked the video 😀 I appreciate you!
These are beautiful
Not as beautiful as you! Xoxox. I appreciate you!
Wow I didn’t know they had acrylic and monomer!!! Primer instead of buffing? Will have to try that 😮
If you try it let me know what you think. I've been doing it for years now and swear by it! And this acrylic turned out to be sooooo good. Xoxo
You make acrylics look so easy! Beautiful set! Born Pretty is really stepping up their game! They've always had good products at good prices!
I agree about Born Pretty! Acrylic is my first love with nails, I am sloppy as all hell sometimes, but we always get there in the end, lol. I hope you're doing fabulously! 🤗 Xoxox
Really Pretty 🤍 I don't do acrylic cause the monomer gives me headaches.
That's understandable for sure! They do have odorless monomer and mix-in scents to help with the smell if you ever feel like giving it a shot again! Thank you so much for being here and spending your time with me today. I appreciate you! Xoxo
1:04:33 they came out so cute!! I love them!! ❤❤😊
Thank you, thank you!! Xoxo
Yes they Def changed their formula forsure! The pink is gorgeous 😍 this kit is Def different sn alot nicer which I love. I'm Def gonna need to try that brush forsure. I comment throughout videos helps with your engagement plus that's just how I am lol. ❤
You want me to link the brush for you? They're my absolute favorite acrylic brushes. I have them in every size from this brand lol. The pink in this kit is definitely a stand out cover color. I love love LOVE it! I appreciate you so much, thank you for taking time to be here. Xoxo

I ❤️ you! Thank you so much, I appreciate you! Xoxo
Really nice set! I haven’t done acrylic in at least 20 yrs because the salon is what didn’t want the smell. I’d love to try acrylic again. What do you think of Young Nails low oder you think it’s worth it? BTW you remind me of my younger self I was always unprepared, very last minute but did my best work under pressure. I had pink hair up until 2yrs ago but the breakage by going super white was too much for me but I loved the era. Your tattoos I love I also have a few I thought about getting more but at 66 that ship has sailed. I’m so enjoying your channel can’t wait for the next video! 🥰
I'm so sorry, I responded way earlier but must not have hit the reply button for it to be posted on here. It BLEW my mind when I saw you said you're 66!!! I would have never ever guessed anything near that age. And that ship hasn't sailed yet!! you've still got plenty of time to add more tattoos hahah. To answer your question, Young Nails low odor is what I use 99% of the time. It still smells like monomer, but the smell is WAY less strong. Their odorless is great also but it does take a while longer to set up and I've found it almost has a tacky layer, so you get confused on if it's completely set all the way. Just file the stick/tacky layer off and it's good to go though. Also, if you're wanting something scented Joya Mia has scent drops for monomer that work very well and E-nail couture has a cotton candy scented monomer. I went pink with my hair a few years ago and liked it for about a week and missed my lilac hair and have stuck with this since then. I do have to take better care of it now that I'm getting older because I'm finding it doesn't quite grow back like it once did when I damage it lol. Thank you again for being here and spending your time with me. I appreciate you sooooo much!! Xoxox
Could you do a shaping tutorial? I switched to full cover tips from polygel because I never could get shaping or surface filing down!
I can absolutely do that! Are you using hand files or an Efile? Xoxo
@HaleyDawn85 I have both! I have been using my efile for about 2 years but mostly for removal.
@kaleyphillips7895 ok, just wanted to ask! I'll include both ways. 😀 luckily for you I'm filming tonight and guess what... it's polygel! So I'll include that in this video, actually. Thank you again for being here, I appreciate you so much! Xoxo
@@HaleyDawn85 awesome!! Thank you so much!
@@kaleyphillips7895 No, THANK YOU!! Xoxox
Nice Video ❤️Love your Vibe and your personality💜 I am not a huge Fan of acrylic, the smell gives me headaches…
Big hug ❤️🔥
I can understand that. It is pretty stinky stuff lol. My husband and kids can't stand it so when I work with it I have windows open in my nail room as well as an air purifier and my ceiling fan lol There is really good low odor and odorless monomer but as weird as it is I LOVE the smell of it hahah. Thank you so much for spending some time with me today, I appreciate you so much! Xoxo
Hi Haley nice to see you again hope your doing well.
Love your dampen dish where did you get it?
Thank you for the apex tip that's really handy to know
I got some powders and solution from temu and was able to have a play around I used some full cover tips i got from temu and i put them on my practice hand and I noticed after I applied the powder the tips were hot and i didn't know why once i looked at the tips i seen it had actually melted them i don't know why so then i tried it just on a plastic half cover tip and it was fine.
What is that drill bit you used ?I need to get one of those i don't have a lot of drill bits mainly for cuticle clean up.
Loved your French tip technique wow love the flowers 🥰love the nails beautiful 💜
Love the video thanks Haley take care xx
HEY girl, HEY!! Thank you for saying such kind words, I appreciate you so much! The dappen dish I got off of Amazon, it's linked in my last haul video, but I can link it here if you want. Also, my efile is a Lavinda efile and I absolutely love it. I've been using the one I had for 3 or 4 years until it crapped out on me when I was filming. Luckily, I bought a backup one when they had gone on sale. THANKFULLY!! About 90% of the time, I do long nails, so I always use the long bits, I get most of my bits off of TEMU 😀 You are beautiful, and thank you for spending time with me Korina! I appreciate you! Xoxox
@@HaleyDawn85 🥰i cant find the link to your dish.
@korinaslack-smith2992 sadly, it looks like it's out of stock for right now. Hopefully they'll restock them soon. I'll look and see what I can find that's similar to this. Sorry about that! 😞
Another awesome video... did you bling out you lnail lamp anf e file.? I would like to domsomething like that. Ciould you share how ya did it or where you got your bling lamp at ?😊😊😊
No, they come like that. I've used these for years now but I did but one that was a super good deal that I'm thinking about doing that to. I think it would be a lot of fun! I got both the lamps and efile off of Amazon, there's a video I did on them because Lavinda sent me a efile and a lamp. I can link the lamp if you want 😀
. Sure that would be great if you could link 😊 thank you
Those tip are great. I use rubber base coat as glue. I seen Lysette do it. It would be perfect for those tip seen as they go so far down especially if you were doing polygel or hard gel. Acrylic is on my list to get better but my kids hate the smell of the monomer lol. They turned out gorgeous. Could have easily turned them into that ballerina shoe style that I've seen. They call em Y2K style which I found out means from the 2000s. Needless to say I feel old 😆
Hey, we're not old at all, hahhahah. I remember the y2k nails around here where I am in the 2000s zebra print was huge, and it's coming back around again. I do use rubber base sometimes to apply tips, I'm kind of back and forth and all of the damn place when I do stuff, lol. I did the regular glue because it will be a little easier to peel off when I'm ready to take these ones off. I appreciate you so much, Beth! Thank you for being here! Xoxo
Hey sweetie I know a really awesome acrylic that doesn't yellow and is super clear is the one from melodysusie. Promise try that lmk what u think bc it's the clearest an really nice non expensive as well. I love born pretty too I love all their products except their acrylic. They may have changed it since I tried it but I really love this video so far. ❤
Thank you so much for saying such kind things! I will definitely grab some MelodySusie acrylic! I had no idea they had acrylic powder, that's exciting because I also love MelodySusie! Thank you for letting me know about it 😀 and thank you so much for being here! I appreciate you tons and tons. Sending you lots of love! Xoxo
Where do you buy the MelodySusie acrylic? I've searched on Amazon and can't find it anywhere 😞
