Hi there, thanks for taking the time to watch, I love the greenwood for tinder, it's everywhere and with a little bit of patience to dry it out then i think it's a really handy thing to know, thanks for the comment on the food, appreciate it, cheers.
Greenwood for fire starting. Now I've something new to try. Also thanks for the idea of using my cast iron solid plate other than over an open campfire. Good cooking. Cheers
Hi, I think the greenwood is great to know about, basically it means there's tinder everywhere, just a case of drying it out. I love the ecozoom and the cast iron works really well, I appreciate you watching, many thanks, cheers.
Very good bush crafting information provided here. Videos like this are always enjoyable to watch when filmed well like yours are. I might have to give in and get one of these Ecozoom stoves everyone likes so much. I think Udo over at B&C (Boats & Canoes) channel must have stock in this company. Now that I've heard your favorable reviews it only convinces me you BOTH own stock in Ecozoom! 😊 Nice video.
Hi, sorry i missed your message, it didn't show up in my notification. Udo it seems is Mr Ecozoom himself and I think that you are right he must have shares! Honestly it's my favourite cooking implement and is my first go to for cooking, it's the most economical way I've ever cooked, it really doesn't take that much wood. Thanks for watching and for the comment, I will be watching your's, at least in the hope to see Mr Monkey again ha ha, you live in such a nice area and it's nice to see a side of it I'd normally never ever get to see, thanks again, cheers.
@@northernembersoutdoors1045 Thanks and I'm glad I found your channel. Udo is a good guy and he definitely likes his Ecozoom. Funny you mention the comment not hitting the notifications. I had comments from 3-4 people that did come into notifications but never posted under the video and if I tried to respond by clicking the comment in notifications it just took me to the video with no comment to reply to!! Then that stopped and what's happening now is I'm getting comments post under the video but never getting a notification. Very strange but what can you do. I've said before I fully expect the entire RUclips server system to crash one day with millions of videos and comments disappearing into oblivion. eBay is already starting to have this happen with listings and photos and I can't see how RUclips will possibly continue to receive and host 1,500 hours of video every minute of every day without big problems occurring at some point. I'll enjoy your videos while I can! 🐊
Thanks, if you can dry the greenwood out then pretty much you will always have tinder, I love the ecozoom, I'm enjoying your videos and was delighted to see that you have quite a lot, will be watching them over time, you have the best channel that I saw from NZ, I get to see a bit of home through your videos, and I mean home as in the bush, I spent more time in the bush than at home and i really miss it, and you actually do craft out there, so thanks for watching and thanks for your videos, even if your puns are dodgy lol.
I like the idea you had with the Dutch oven and the briquettes and the wind break, which I think was a cake tin, I love the ecozoom, always a pleasure to use, cheers for watching.
You might want to grill marinated chicken last. Onion, burger then chicken. The food will come cleaner. I don't think the onion was editable and everything might be a bit bitter given the color.
@@northernembersoutdoors1045 No need to be defensive. I do agree that the onions are a bit too blackened but if that's how you like it, you do you. I think a cast iron pot and a lid while cooking the food in batches would be the way to go, the chicken would both get some nice color and the lid would trap steam, helping cook it evenly and more quickly. Remove chicken, add patties. Once cooked, remove patties, reduce heat and deglaze the fond with the onions, adding some liquid if necessary to scrape off the good stuff. It seems like this stove gives off an enormous amount of heat so cooking everything in a single pan would be quite the stressful endeavor for me.
I never did that. It's good that you show how to do it. Support and greetings from Poland :)
😍🤠👍 good bushcrafting & tucker 😍👏👏👏
Thank you Billy, I love the Greenwood for fire-lighting, working on ways to dry it out when it's raining! Cheers for watching.
Nice looking meal ! Never thought of preparing green wood for tender later on. Thanks for the idea.

Chicken takes the longest so no.
Nothing was bitter.
By all means film a video and lead the way and show us all how to do it.
Hats off to your skills.
